Our Rookie 4th Round Pick Tavon Young was locking up Antonio Brown until the 4th Quarter prevent began. I can't say enough good things about Tavon Young. That open-field tackling on much bigger RB's TEs and fast WRs was insane! #WeFoundOurStarter!

1..horrible offense, needs to improve significantly, otherwise this D's effort will go to waste for the next 8wks.
2..the D playing lights out even without pass rush, judon needs more snaps, we need to blitz more.

Tavon Young shutting down Antiono Brown, Alex Lewis top PFF grade, Chris Moore scoop and score, Kenneth Dixon fighting for yards with no blocking and Matt Judon sack. What a 4th and 5th Round of the Draft!

Ive been one of his biggest fans, and still think he can play adequately, but with the skill on both sides of the ball, Flacco is holding this team back.

Flacco and 6th round pick for Rivers and the Lombardi comes to Baltimore again.

What for a guy (Rivers) who must be 50yrs old.

To our DC. NO NO more of the prevent defense. It does not work as we saw yesterday. 54 yds in 3 quarters 210 in 4th quarter. Also, maybe it is time to put
our defensive backfield on the Jugs machine. Should have been a 4 int game/

Yeah. Rivers has everything but the ring and would do anything to get it in his final years. Plus he easy has at least 5 good years left.

I think Flacco needs a floor length mirror that says, YOU are the reason for the frustrations on offense. Not the line play this week, not drops, receivers were open all day. Rookie corners can figure out where the ball goes, he is predictable, not accurate, and easily confused on his reads. 9 years , same flaws. We just have to be real as a team with his ability and the amount of cap space he takes up. tough choices will be made in order to put talent around him. He has to pay us back in two to three years and give us some cap space back. He can not command that much of a cap and win. In fact , none of the elite paid QB's are winning. Its a team!

Joe is playing scared he feels pressure and panics and throws int's or bounces the ball to his receivers....The knee is on his mind, and he is playing like it....He has to get over it quickly or expect the same the rest of the year.....

The INT was a high school QB pass. Off balance and across his body. Actually a lot of high school QB's would have thrown it away. I am a Joe supporter but he needs to step up NOW.

The line could not open holes for the backs yesterday, and Stanley is showing rust. A better effort, but it's still two rookies on the left side.

IMHO Flacco's play indicates he is injured. He did have a great lookoff on the 2 point conversion. If he gets that going, it will help him out tremendously.

Yet another great day for Zachary Orr...this guy seems to be getting more impressive as the season wears on. Between him and Mosley, and if Judon continues to develop, we have the makings of an outstanding group of young linebackers. Job well done yesterday!

Young is going to be a really good corner, certainly reminds me of webby in 10-11.

I think Judon needs more snaps too. keep Suggs rested as much as possible to keep him effective.

I would love Rivers as he is way better than Flacco, but it unfortunately would never happen. Rivers has worked with far less and has looked great. Flacco will get a pass this year because of the injury, but he looks about as good as he did in 15' before the injury so?

The Ravens were bad the Squeelers were awful. Fat head Ben had no business being on that field.. Tomlin is an idiot

JH and this team need to embrace what they are...a team with good special teams and defense and a not so good offense. We should be playing for field position and letting Tucker earn his new contract. It's the same formula that worked in 2000 and during Flacco's first three years. It is my belief we would be 7-1 now had JH not left points on the field in three of those four losses.

5 takeaways:

1. Still way too many penalties. We are still giving away way too many free yards- fortunately the sqeelers were worse at it then we were but we still have not fixed it

2. Tavon Young, Michael Pierce and Judon continue to impress. Keep feeding them.

3. As great as our Defense played.... I still don't think Pees knows how to finish a team off. II know that feels like harsh criticism for as well as they played but the facts remain the same... we struggle to close games out- we had a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter (at home) and held on for the win. We need to stomp a team out when they are down... not get passive

4. Congrats to Dean Pees on a great game. I have been one of his biggest critics... and still think he needs to get better at closing teams out...but he certainly seems to have Pittsburgh's number. So Congrats...Pees

5. Worried about Dixon...

BONUS.... We need to feed Waller more... he is a difference maker!

Ben had a minor knee issue and look at how he played when he came back. He missed a whopping two weeks. Flacco had a major injury on the two most important ligaments in his knee and just came back before training camp after missing 26 weeks. Of players who had suffered this injury before, most need a full year to completely recuperate. Where I agree Flacco has been horrific, perhaps he needs to sit and heal a little more both physically and psychologically. Granted, I feel these issues go further than his knee, but just based on history, he shouldn't have been expected to be highly productive at this point.
