[News] Game Recap: Ravens 21, Steelers 14

I like the quote by Brandon. Despite dropping 3 easy int's the defense was great. I'll take a win but I would've loved to shut them out. The offense has to get it together seriously...nothing has changed even after a bye week.

I don't understand how Flacco still has such poor mechanics after being in the league for 8 years. Either he is too bull headed or too stupid to adjust. Just like staring down receivers, his poor footwork throws him off balance and makes him inaccurate. If Roethlisberger had played the first 3 quarters of this game the way he did the last, the Steelers would have blown the Ravens out. He was just as bad if not worse than Flacco until the fourth quarter.

Raven's defense went into their "prevent" mode after scoring on the blocked punt. And surprise, surprise, Squeelers mounted a comeback. If we had stayed in our normal defense we possibly could have shut them out. But for what ever reason, Dean Pees always reverts to his prevent defense mode, which always stinks. So no, Big Ben would not have blown the Raven's out, just poor defensive play calling in the forth quarter by Pees, as per usual, nearly let them back in the game.

As for Joe, there's little in the way of excuses for his play. If he's still hurt, he needs to take a seat. If he's simply scared of getting injured again, the problem is really serious. Whatever is going on, we can't get on a streak with his abyssmal QB play. We absolutely HAVE to get this win against the Brownies this Thursday, so it'll be interesting to see how Harb's handles it if Joe continues his horrible play.

What's really funny is the Cleveland Browns are 11th in rushing the ball and Ravens are 28th and have a better offense..... but hey,..... we have an elite QB!
