We better spank em, we're playing an 0-9 team at home but we always seem to play down to the competition. Can't remember the last time we won a game that wasn't a nail biter.

Coleman and Pryor can ball but that's about it. Luckily for us the secondary is clicking a lot better as of late. I just want to see the offense run the ball succesfully, we have the OL healthy, smash them between the tackles and let's get out of there with the W.

it's  a rivalry game. Not often games aren't close when two rival teams face each other no matter how bad one team record may be.

Yes especially if he plays and stay healthy. I wonder who will be cut once he re- signed though and some believe it could be Devin Hester but i'm not entirely sure that's a good idea.

I thought Hester actually played well yesterday he got us some good return yards. Yet to break for a big return yet but he has given us some good yardage.

He looked like a rookie, afraid to catch punts, muffed the short KO that bounced over his head, etc. It's a shame, but Hester mostly looks like an accident waiting to happen.

I'm nervous about this game, I predicted we'd beat the Steelers and drop this game, can't wait to be wrong.

Obviosuly there is no reason why we should lose, we really should snap that one score game streak, and hopefully we're on the right side of that score.

Yeah no doubt. He looks terrified of the ball. Time to part ways.

I'll be honest, the Browns are better than what their record says. Which means if we loose it's all on us for not preparing well. Keep running, I don't care if it doesn't work, just keep doing it and let the defense rest. Keep feeding SSS and Wallace, and gice BP some chances.

The defense will do the rest.

Unless we let Cleveland get another 20 point lead I see a win here. If our offense is ever gonna get it together it has to be NOW! I fear us hitting the wall soon. Someone NOT named Steve or Wallace has to break out.

Hopefully Stanley can knock the rust off himself.

This has been said after every game and for 8 weeks now.  At some point, there has to be a recognition and acknowledgment that, even when everyone is healthy and playing...this offense is just not that good.  C'mon bro! :D

nope..and its the same with flacco not playing well..people here suddenly think hes going to be average again and help us win games..

not happening. He is the key to our offense. if he can't be at least average like he has in good portions of his career then we wont win these close games

Yeah. This game makes me nervous. Playing on a short week after a physical matchup with the Steelers will be a test, even against the Browns

Well you could say the same of them coming off of a game against Dallas.

Yes. More excited about what he could bring to the offense out the slot.

Browns are bound to win at some point. Heres to hoping it's not Thursday!

Not necessarily.

Why because he actually returned one ball for positive yards and not muff the ball? Hate to break it to you but that's what even average returners are supposed to do. He fell down twice making fair catches and was scared to even catch it every other time. This is not the same Hester of old. He won't be on this team for another 2 weeks.

And the same can be said about our O line, RBs and WRs

Just because Cleveland is 0-9 doesn't mean I would shy away from this forum - come on now, you all know me better than that. :D  So here we are with Week 10: ugh.  I knew Cleveland would not be good this year but man, I didn't see 0-9.

The positives at least are on offense:  they're young but they haven't played THAT bad overall.  Cody Kessler has been pleasantly decent so far and I think starting him over a healthy McCown is the right choice. Kessler is your potential future, you know what you have in McCown.  Pryor, Coleman, Barnidge, Crowell are really developing into decent players but it's tough when the OL is in such bad shape from injury.  They really have done a overall good job IMO given the circumstances so here's hoping they continue that trend.

The defense:  [Sheesh], where do I begin?  Again, knew they'd be the weak point but man they look awful and I think that's being generous.  It's been hard to really find one bright point there so far and at the moment I can't think of one.  They need some serious improvement for sure.  I think the Browns could have 2, maybe 3 wins if their defense wasn't so freaking terrible.

With it being a Thursday night game, anything is possible.  Especially being a divisional matchup.  I still think the Ravens have the edge but here's hoping I'm wrong. =]

Well there's no chance of him playing unless we feel like playing QB Roulette again like we did the first few weeks.

Good to see you, man. I have seriously developed the UTMOST respect for long-time Browns fans. Here's to a good, injury-free game on Thursday night!

I would take the Browns' depth chart over some teams in the NFL. Stacked receivers, stacked o-line, and some good defensive pieces. Definitely not the worst talented team in the league.

How come they're 0-9?

Because they lack talent at certain positions where you need it in order to win games.

QB would be a good place to start looking as to why they are 0-9.

Their defense was also quite good about 2-3 years ago, but isn't very good this year. A couple quality defensive players (like Joe Haden), but not a solid unit overall. Get pushed around in the trenches a lot on both sides of the ball.

The only game im nervous about is the game At Dallas. Cowboys look very good now. They even beat the Redskins a team we couldn't beat. And we cant beat teams out of AFC North division. Ravens can beat every team in our division. If thats the case we can go straight in the playoffs

Same to you Nurple!  I second your thoughts, no matter the result I don't like seeing folks being injured and just ask for a good game.

The right choice IMO.  McCown, while he has played well, is not our future.  Kessler, while still undecided, could be.  It's only fair to let him play and see how he does.  As I stated before, he really has played well overall given the insane circumstances of this season.

I would agree with almost all of this but really, Kessler has had very little to work with.  He hasn't played phenomenally well but really he hasn't been too bad, along with a lot of the offense.  The defense, minus 3 Joe Haden games, has been just been awful.  Their offense isn't good enough to win in a shootout or keep up.  At times, they get stagnant on offense but I really think part of that is just time on the field.

I agree with the Browns decision as well. Might as well see what Kessler has.  I have actually been pretty impressed with him so far, considering the situation he was thrown into, starting the season as 3rd string behind RG3 and McCown.

Same here.  He hasn't played really, really well but he hasn't played too bad either.  Only 1 INT so far through six starts.  But again, only five TDs.  He's looking solid though and I think he deserves the whole season.

I hope you guys don't play the QB plug and play type of things cuz that thing kills us all the time with all the back up, off the street QB...

I believe it is the tight game and our defense will bail us out....

Here's to hoping you're right! :D

Sure, they are not winning games but imo the Browns are scrappy...especially against the Ravens!  Just like the Ravens wanted to right their ship and break their losing streak by beating the Steelers; there is no doubt in my mind that your Browns are also coming to town with the mentality of, "What better team to get our first win against than the Baltimore Ravens?"  Hopefully, our Ravens know what time it is and show up in a huge way on prime time for their 2nd consecutive win against an AFC North division opponent!

GO RAVENS!!!
