Are both Quincy Wilson and Jalen Tabor entering the draft? Also, I love both of their skill sets and size, especially Wilson at 6'1, 210. But for some reason there is something about Sidney Jones that makes me think he will be a home run. So quick, great recovery, plays the ball well while in the air, doesn't struggle with big receivers, and causes turnovers when targeted.

Don't believe the hype, believe your eyes instead. Sidney Jones is far superior. Especially to tabor who is a massive bust. He has a serious holding problem, he is undisciplined, and honestly looks stiff. Damn the size, the coverage skills are seriously subpar. I saw one game tape from him where he had 4 blatant holds go uncalled, 1 more get called, and was burned despite his holding twice, and he got beat deep multiple times. Tabor is a bust man.

Currently, we are picking in the 16th spot, probably the 20th, once all is said and done.. I have us taking a playmaker on offense and special teams: Christian Mccaffrey.  IMO we would have won more games with a quality offensive weapon.

Might as well wait for Alvin kamara then. Could get more value in the first

McCaffrey or Dixon I think Dixon is better we will not have to RBs on the field to get her so in my opinion it is a waste to pick McCaffrey.

I like both the Ohio St CBs as well Lattimore and Hooker. I have heard some analysts say move Hooker to safety and he could be a similar player to Ed Reed I know super high praise but returned 3 Ints for TDs this season. I like Jones I also thinks Adoree Jackson and the kid from Clemson Tankersley I think could be good. Clemson has put out some good CBs the last 5 years and Desmond King from Iowa definitely like him I wanted him last year but he went back to school

Hooker already plays safety. Gareon conley is the corner opposite lattimore. Hes probably just as good lattimore is. Their both better than the Florida duo in my eyes too

Yeah I was just looking I saw they are sophomores but I believe at least Lattimore was a redshirt and could be eligible

They're all eligible. Hooker however said he was going back although he could still change his mind

I truly believe Mccaffery will primarily be used in the slot, for longevity and playmaking ability. As I mentioned in previous posts, he is the epitome of a swiss army knife. A player capable of playing many positions, including kick returns. I view him as a go to guy, a defensive coordinator's nightmare.

That would make more sense but I think there are bigger needs at pass rusher CB C/G and WR not just a slot guy. I could be wrong but it looks like this week we might give Reynolds a shot to work in the slot along with Camp. I know big if but if Camp stays healthy I feel he would do what McCaffrey would do. Don't get me wrong I like McCaffrey but not with our other needs.

Thought I should update my big board. I put a # for every player i think the ravens view as "red star" prospect (not the first 2 because there's no chance we get either) and an * on players who my have character concerns or injury concerns

1- Myles Garrett OLB Texas A&M

2- Jonathan Allen DE Alabama

3- Jamal Adams S LSU #

4- Derek Barnett EDGE Tennessee #

5- Malik Hooker FS Ohio St

6- Reuben Foster MLB Alabama

7- Jabrill Peppers ATH Michigan #

8- Tim Williams OLB Alabama *

9- Quincy Wilson CB Florida

10- Mike Williams WR Clemson  *

11-  Dalvin Cook RB FSU *

12- Corey Davis WR Western Michigan #

13- Solomon Thomas DL Stanford #

14- Teez Tabor CB Florida *

15- Desmond King CB Iowa #

16- Malik McDowell DL Michigan st

I only went to 16 since that's where we pick. Now that doesn't mean he'll be out pick, I didn't include Qb as I don't think we're looking for one. Also I tried to fit Cam Robinson in there but I couldn't figure out where. I'm sure the ravens have him in there somewhere.

Now if you remove all the players with * and maybe raise some with a # then the top remaining player on the board could very well end up being our pick. Some other prospects like Takk McKinley, demarcus walker, adorree jackson, or Sydney Jones(another prospect I tried to fit in a crowded CB feild would deff be top 20). All the aforementioned  prospects have a high character and good work ethic could see themselves in our top 15. Others like Marlon Humphrey and Charles Harris could also depending how many prospects we Deem undraftable.

I could very well see us taking solomon thomas, Desmond king or even takk McKinley because of our organization falling in love with one of them. It always seems to be the prospect that we like to pick on here like perriman and stanley. Yet we failed to realize these were kids who had no off field baggage and are deemed high character and hard worker were viewed so highly by our organization

Tabor sounds like the next Richard Sherman to me

Did anybody see the article posted on the Ravens app on 1/7 by John Einsberg titled: Nothing Will Impact Ravens More Than Addressing One Position? I'll summarize it for you: with Jimmy Smith the Ravens were the #1 defense (this is without an effective pass rush).  The last four games without Jimmy Smith we were the worst defense in the NFL. To me the proof is in the pudding - so to speak. We need more CB depth! We get a sure-fire 1st round DB in the draft and I think it would have the biggest impact! I also think we should take another CB in the draft too and sign a veteran. Cut Arrington, Wright (maybe), Powers, and Kendrick Lewis. Jimmy Smith on one side, #1 pick on the other, with Tavon Young in the slot and/or backup LCB or RCB looks good.

Unless Tim Williams is sitting there at 16, I think it will be wise to wait to rounds 2-4 to get a pass rusher. I mean, we still have Suggs (8 sacks this year playing injured, and I think can have one more good year), Judon, Za'Darius Smith, Correa, and Dumervil (who I think is gone). The state of OLB is better than our CB depth. If I had it my way, I'd do CB round 1, top center in round 2, pass rusher rounds 3 & 4, in rounds 5-7 I'd go boom or bust WR, CBs, and guards.

I think we are one very legit center away from having an upper echelon OL, which I also feel is the most important thing in football. However, we did give a practice squad center Matt Skura a raise from $6,900/wk to $26,471/wk . So, we may be super high on him with Urschel as his counterpart.

...Whatever, in Ozzie we trust.

id argue the opposite - we have two good starters at CB already (albeit one is undersized and the other has injury issues) whereas at OLB we have one ageing rusher, another ageing rusher who is probably gone next season, and we havent seen a huge amount from the other rushers to suggest they are the answer: zadarius regressed so far that he couldnt even get activated most weeks, judon showed potential but at this stage we have no guarantees he wont slump like z did, and correa likewise for whatever reason couldnt get activated either

on top of this - cornerback more than any position seems to be one that is hard to get success out of a 1st rounder - it seems to have a greater disparity between busts and successes

either way i want a day 1 playmaker for whatever position at 16 but if i were to choose between cb and pass rusher in round 1 id say pass rusher - especially given the state of those two positions - i could even argue that safety is more important to acquire than cb at this point (obviously id love to have more corners but I could make the argument that a safety might have a greater impact on the future of the franchise - look at the difference impact rookie safeties have had in new york, atlanta, green bay and look at what 2 great safeties did to seattle just 4-5 years ago)

heres my updated big board and the rationale behind my ordering:

needs and fit are factored in but BPA takes heavy precedence. QBs eliminated, not predicting any trade or FA moves.

1. Myles Garrett

2. Jonathan Allen

3. Malik Hooker

4. Marshon Lattimore

5. Reuben Foster(massive leap after orr's retirement)

6. Jamal Adams

7. Mike Williams

8. Derek Barnett(appears to be sliding, this could be huge for us)

9. Sidney Jones

9. Dalvin Cook

10. Quincy Wilson

11. Corey Davis

12. TJ Watt

13. Charles Harris

14. Tim Williams

15. Leonard Fournette

16. Solomon Thomas

17. Tre'Davious White(super underrated)

18. Dan Feeney

19. Malik McDowell

20. Taco Charlton

21. Christian McCaffrey

22. Takk McKinley

23.  Desmond King

24. Ryan Anderson(super underrated)

25. Adoree Jackson

26. Ethan Pocic

27. Ryan Ramcyzk

28. John Ross

29. Marlon Humphrey

30. Evan Engram(had to sneak him in here, big fan of his and think hes perfect to fill a void thats been there since boldin left and pitta hurt his hip)

thats my personal top 30 rough draft, ill be making adjustments and as injury and character info comes out, and as we fill/open holes via FA, and with combine results i will round it out to a top 50.

@JoeyFlex5 Evan Engram would be a great replacement for Pitta. He'd definitely be good to pick if he's still in there in the third round.

If we can get a good trade back in the second round I would be locked in on trading back for engram. I haven't seen a more perfect guy to fill that void i mentioned earlier. He is that reliable security blanket guy like pitta because he has a great feel for splits and soft spots in coverage, and he can make those box out catches like boldin, but the difference is he's bigger and far faster than both of those guy and brings more big play element

Another option if he does slip into the early 3rd, we could trade up. Since comp picks tradeable now we could put the two 3rd round picks into a package deal to get a high 3rd round pick. He really would be the perfect compliment for Perriman and Wallace.
