[News] Eisenberg: If Ravens Found Some Secret Formula For Beating Steelers, It's Time To Break It Out

14 posts in this topic

And so the current Jekyll (prevalent) and Hyde formula continues.........................(I am refraining from any negative comments until after the game....hopefully, I will have to state nada)
Go Ravens....Beat Pittsburgh....Beat 'anybody' !

Don't blitz and play AB over and under and gotta watch moates and their TE! Moates has his drops out the way and ready to open up gotta spread the Defense basically and it will hold them down and Joe can light it up hopefully with Pitta and Gilmore to loosen up their defense for the big play! "Minor setback for a Major comeback" starts Sunday! IM PUMPED!!!!!!!!!

There is no secret formula John, we just played better those days than the Steelers did. But, I don't know if our luck will continue just how poorly our offense has played and how uninspiring our coaching's been. If we win, we win simply because the Steelers played worse than us and if we lose its simply a continuation of horrific play and coaching by the Ravens. Really its that simple.

Wow! Hit the nail on the head! Let me say just one thing. Leaders lead!! If they don't, the team, business, platoon, family, etc. fall apart. Unfortunately, there are no leaders on this team. The greatest leader of all time left four years ago, and exposed two average, overpaid charlatans who were riding his coattails.

If Big Ben plays, the critical issue is our pass rush. If he doesn't play, the critical issues are our offensive line and the running game. I would love to see a successful running attack with at least equal balance between passing and running; preferably, more running plays. I think we can beat Pittsburgh with a +50% passing plays because our OL is back to full strength and the Steelers passing defense is so poor. But I think it would do a world of good for us if the running game dominated.

Wow, living in the past...That leader was basically done as a player by that time in his career, and was injured and not even around the team a good part of the season. Yet somehow people will credit him with single handedly leading them to a super bowl victory.(even though the 49er's specifically targeted him and almost came back to win the game) If you think that the only motivation for that team was to win another ring for one guy, that's crazy talk.Or more definately media talk, because they will always run with the "do it for so-and-so" story EVERY time they get the chance.I kinda think that a historic run by their QB in the play-offs may have had a little to do with helping them win, not to mention a certain head coach who had to quell some bad blood in the middle of the season and keep everyone on the same page. I imagine they are the "charlatans" you mentioned, I suppose we would have won the super bowl without either of them? By the way, what jersey number do you wear? Curious to find out how you know that there are no leaders in the Raven's locker room. Or is this simply an assumption on your part now that your favorite player retired, and no one will ever live up to his hype?

I hate putting a damper on one of the greatest Raven's to play the game, but there is a point where putting a person on a pedestal and the awful truth of reality collide. There are way to many fan's out there who want to climb back into the way-back machine and live through their version of the past. You see this all the time. Get your head out of the sand and enjoy the future.

And as for the original post, what kind of garbage is that? Even if we win, its only because the squeelers played bad? Yellow and Black troll alert! Now that you've totally gotten off the Raven's band wagon, and alerted everyone that you dislike the team no matter what the outcome, please get out of the road and root for whatever team happens to be hot flavor right now. You can always sneak back on board when the Raven's are playing better.

So will the real fans stick around if we lose or will the fake fans give up on the season. Stay tuned til 4:30 on Sunday. I'll be around win or lose. Good luck Ravens.

Not only is it game day but, It's Steelers game day! Time to put those game faces on and button those chin straps up. Take it to them for 60 and Dominate, Dominate, Dominate. Nothing better than sending those yellow towel waving fools back to the northwest with their heads hung low and tails between their legs.

There are probably very few fake fans left at this point. We could end the season on a 13 game losing streak and most, if not all, of the fans posting on these boards now would still be here, belly-aching and offering our opinions on how to clear the track and start the Raven train again.
