Block Kicks

All my years of madden I can not remember blocking a kick. Is it possible

I think it it, but blocking punts is so easy! I don't see why they make it so disproportionate.

i did it all the time in madden 07. there was a glitch in there. if there are two players, once the kicking player starts to move the analog stick down, sprint across the line of scrimmage, and no penalty will be called. I beat my friend, because I blocked all 5 PAT kicks, lol. He was pissed.

lol, that would be kinda hard to do in online play though. I have never seen a punt or kick blocked...

I've only ever blocked a kick maybe once or twice playing Madden EVER, but blocking punts is so easy for me. I played a game against my roommate and scored 14 points with Haruki Nakamura blocking punts and returning them for TDs

whats the key to blocking punts? i usually just go for Max. cover on the return and never attempt to block. Is there a certain approach to take?

If you go for the normal, middle return, get you fastest linebacker, move him across the line so that he doesn't have a blocker infront of him, then just sprint towards the punter and put your arms up at the end.
