No, I don't believe you. Makes plays from time time?? WHAT? He made some good tackles in week1 which were cluctch. But coverage, he is straight awful. What did he do, give up between 4-6 TDS just in weeks 2-5!!! That would be bad for a couple of FULL seasons for a decent corner. Makes plays....JEEZ. Wright is not only not good, he is bad. He made Michael Crabtree look like Julio Jones. There's a reason multiple teams cut him last year. The 9ers cut him. The 9ers!!!!!!! Worst D in the NFL cut him

Go back to some of those plays and count how many seconds the opposing quarterback had to throw the ball without any sort of pressure.

I see how well firing Marc Trestman has worked out for you guys. Those 19 yards rushing last game were simply outstanding, and losing to the Geno Smith/Ryan Fitzpatrick duo is a singular accomplishment of great notoriety. With upcoming games against last place Cleveland and last place Miami, a 5-11 record is a real possibility, if not a predetermined outcome. Bravo! At this rate, the Ravens will be rushing for negative yards come week 11 or 12.

Wow, what an enlightening analysis. <_< Who is your team? Perhaps we could do the same for you.

For some reason, not feeling the same sense of urgency around this rivalry game as in years' past.  Not sure why.  Maybe its because the Ravens are down (though they have dominated the series the last 5 years), there is little media hype, or the players aren't calling one another out.  Perhaps Sizz, Yanda, Ben and Harrison are the only ones left who recall what these games used to be - physically and emotionally draining.  In any event, I hope the Ravens come to play.  This will define the season.

Agree, great post

I actually get the opposite feeling. I think they certainly feel the urgency and fully understand how much this rivalry game means. There is a lot of new faces but sizz will get his troops ready. Like he said in the presser, Jimmy Webb, Yanda, McClellan and Joe have all been around since the hard hitting steeler-ravens rivalry was coming out of its peak. Wallace knows being from the other side and Weddle ain't stupid. The rest of the younger guys will learn very quickly. I just hope Steve is ready, doesnt look that way but we need his fire and attitude.

Shareece Wright is far from perfect but he's better than any other corner we have not named Jimmy Smith. Dont believe me? Replay the Giants game. He makes plays from time to time and is capable of holding his own. I like Tavon Young but he's still got a lot to learn. He's not ready to start guarding #1 receivers or even #2's which is understandable but I think he'll get there. Kids got that "dog" in him.

I agree, he's pretty much hit or miss. When he's on he's on but when he's off he's awful. Let's hope the latter doesn't show up. Davis played well against them last year but his play has been pretty underwhelming thus far. We will soon see what happens. My guess is we will see Ben, but im not as sure as Suggs is and I think its a gamble on their part. One low hit and he could be done for the year. As physical as these games are I wouldn't take the risk if I was Tomlin.

It's not like the Steelers have a great defense. They can't stop the run and their pass defense is average at best.

But they're playing the Ravens on a 4 game losing streak and M&T now is just as bad as a road game. Our offense seems to figure out a way to lose games in the second half. I won't be confident about a victory unless we are leading by 10+ points with a minute left on the clock simply put. We are a terrible offense regardless of the defense we're facing.

We have been a terrible offense. Doesn't mean we will be going forward. Our run starts on Sunday, or our season ends on Sunday. I'm confident it will be the first one

Oh well Troll_Buddha pile on! I'm assuming given your articulation you may very well be a NE supporter because I haven't seen a Steeler troll put 3 sentences together coherently quite yet, and here's my message to you. The Ravens are what their record says they are mainly due to injuries to key players. Most players are returning and they can find their mojo against the Steelers. If they do, they will go on a run of wins and if they don't more Troll_Buddhas will show up on this site. But, my suspicion is you'll wither away in direct proportion to our winning performance and that's what we are banking on!
