Joe's mechanics have been off lately so I hope this "little thing" was corrected over the bye. But what is going to cure the frightened look on Joe's face which have caused him to throw away the ball? Oh, I forgot, the return of a healthy o-line.

Throwing the O line under the bus because Joe can't get it done won't work! Other QBs are getting the same pressure and producing! This Is The NFL!

I'd like to see our coaches have a pass rusher with long nerf arms on, coming at Joe from the sides during practices. Not to hit him (OK, maybe a smack upside the head once or twice would make me feel better!) but to get joe better at pocket awareness and how to roll out or step up into the pocket. He needs to stand tall as long as he can and throw off his front foot but he always seems to be ready to run or flop as soon as he feels there MAY BE pressure coming soon. This is football and getting tackled is part of the game however, the QB is the best protected player on the field, just ask Lady Brady.

So being the coaches put in overtime during the bye week, I don't wanna hear the same issues at the end of the game from Harbaugh and I don't wanna see the same ol stale offense from here on out. If things don't or haven't changed then be prepared for potentially another 5-11 season.

The season hangs in the balance where a win over PBurg could be the spark to turn the season around. In a week North 9-7 or 8-8 may win the division.

I seriously doubt that. Could this be a case of someone who has made all the money he needs and just isn't driven. May be the thing that's in front of his mind is just to be able to go home to his kids.

Really? You think Flacco doesn't care? He was praised for being "calm" when the Ravens were in the playoffs. But now the team isn't winning as much and that "calm" means he has his money and wants to go home to his kids. Yeah, I see your point...

This and similar reports are really funny to me, I mean WHY does Mornhinweg need time to see what was going on with the offense.... He has Been with the offensive coaching staff for the last two years as the QB coach How ohhh How could he possible not know what was being run and the abilities of the players involved? Also,,, and this is paramount in my mind, he was a key part of Trestman's team along with Juan Castillo and HAD imput into what was being done and run so, I fail to see how he needs time to see what is happening, silly, just buying time before the judgement .... Not sure we can expect much of a creativity change however he can effect the play calling and run balance WHICH has been the same ( around 50 passes ) in the 2 post Trestman games?????

Because you obviously don't have a clue how an NFL (or any sports team) organization is structured. Position coaches like Castillo & Mornhinweg are rarely involved in the overall game planning (outside of their specific groups). That's like saying that the warehouse manager should know everything the CEO has already done.....

What does john, a special team coach, know about running a team then? We seen what he could do with Ray now we're seeing what he can do without.

Do you honestly believe Ray Lewis "coached" the Ravens to the playoffs every year that he and Harbaugh were together? Man, I love Ray as a Hall of Famer, an All-Timer, but I had no idea he ran the defense AND drew up the offense and called the plays, AND organized the special teams all at the same time! Wow, thanks, my admiration and respect for Ray Lewis has grown exponentially from learning this new information...

Maybe after Far Below Average Joe puts up another game with a 56% rating, Self Righteous John can fire Marty and bring in, Oh, I don't know, maybe Don Coryell or Joe Gibbs, or maybe Don Shula to be the OC. Maybe Brian Billick. It really doesn't matter with FBAJ at the helm.

Let me ask you, 20306cab, if you were calling Flacco "Far Below Average Joe" during the playoff seasons of 2010, 2011, 2012, & 2014 (I left out his 1st two seasons when the Ravens had playoff wins but Flacco was certainly not the reason)? Let me refresh your memory with some statistics, some facts -- the Ravens played 10 playoff games in the 4 seasons I mentioned, going 7-3 (4-3 on the road, 2-0 at home, Super Bowl win in New Orleans); Flacco has a passer rating of 90.0+ in 9 of the 10 games, 100.0+ in 6 of the 10 games, he throws 24 TDs versus 4 INTs in the 10 games, going a combined 196-327 (60.0%) for 2,563 yards. Let me make it easy for you -- an average game for Flacco in the playoffs in those 4 years covering 10 games was about 20-33 for 256 yards and almost 2.5 TDs and .5 INT per game. (This is more in line with what the Ravens offense should be doing this season, not throwing 45 times a game...) I'm thinking that's not "Far Below Average." And if you come back with, "Well, what has he done these last two years!," I will ask you if you were cheering Flacco during those playoff runs. If you were then just be quiet, don't take the easy, "What have you done for me lately?" The Ravens had an excellent run, and Flacco was a big part of that. Show some loyalty and maybe just a little class.

PREACH!

Yea and Ozzy should have Dilfered Joe after the sb.

No but what has he done for us lately?! Triple " S " would have a SB but a very very very bad pass against the pats cost him that! A pass that "SHOULD NOT" been thrown and the numbers got worse and worse! Numbers don't Lie people do!

Show some loyalty and some class. There are too many fair-weather fans in my book. "What has he done for us lately?!" Flacco at the very least helped win a Super Bowl for the Ravens and the city of Baltimore. The year before he was a dropped Lee Evans pass (& a missed Billy Cundiff FG) from going to another. The Ravens return to the playoffs in 2014, both games on the road, and they split, but Flacco's passer ratings were 114.0 & 92.1, he combines for 6 TDs & 2 INTs, and the offense puts up 30 & 31 points. The DEFENSE couldn't stop New England at all in that loss, 35-31. Do you know how many teams that haven't won a Super Bowl, or haven't won it in decades? How many teams that would be thrilled to just make the playoffs every now and then, make an appearance? The Cincinnati Bengals have lost their last seven (7!) playoff games and haven't won a playoff game since 1990! Come on, be better than this. Sure, Flacco hasn't been as good as we'd like him to have been the last couple of years (maybe if Perriman catches that perfectly thrown bomb for a TD in an earlier game or he gets his 2nd foot down in the end zone in the Redskin game...or Aiken or Wallace make tough catches on 4th down on perfectly thrown balls that ended drives and games...Mosley's fumble doesn't become a touchback...Jernigan doesn't try to advance a recovered fumble inside his own 5 and fumbles it away...all of these plays could have swung a game and made the season look a little better). But I don't think you can simply forget the playoff success, call it a fluke as some mistakenly do, and dump Flacco. That is ridiculous. "We shouldn't have let Tyrod Taylor get away!" (Taylor is 11-10 as a starter in Buffalo, no playoffs last year). "Oh, but Ryan Mallett should be playing!" (Mallett is 3-5 as a starting QB with 7 TD, 9 INT, 55 %, 66.2 QB rating for his career.)

This makes me laugh. I'm glad you "experts" are on the case and can decipher the difference between "Joe Cool", playoff asset for the Ravens, and "Joe Cool", um, he has his money and wants his wife and kids. There is no difference at all, except that the Ravens aren't winning as much. But you probably can read his mind...
