UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

I know it's way too early and we still have plenty of this season to play for but just to say we have started to put together a weekend of activities for any visiting fans who won't be on one of the package tours.

Pre game tailgate

Fan meet ups

Open top bus tour of London & the sights etc

Ravens fan party on the Saturday night before the game Sunday.

Can follow us, @ravens_uk on twitter

@tubes102 going forward, please post updates, plans, etc. in the thread in Ravens Fans Unite.  This thread will probably drop off the first page and be lost.

The date is now set. Adam Schefter reports the Ravens will travel to London to face the Jags on September 24th, 2017. So week 3 it is.

Nice, that's one less road game.

Hrmf, still a road game for us. One less home game for JAX sounds more accurate.

I think teams have denied the bye and requested a later one before.

In the past, the teams playing in London had their bye following the game. This past season, the Colts were the first team that chose to not take their bye following the trip and it didn't affect there play the following week. I think the NFL now will be more willing to allow teams to chose a later bye after testing it with the Colts.

All team byes should be in the weeks 7 to 10 window. Having a bye after 3 games and then 12 str8 weeks of combat is brutal for teams. imo

Can't do that on a short week.  Most teams are getting the bye afterwards to recover from that long flight back.

I'm not buying any tickets until, I see the product on the field.  I have been to London several times no big deal but before I spend my accumulated $$ on a Ravens game on foreign soil that will only enrich others and placate the NFL,  I want to see a viable product w/ merit.  Otherwise, I'll be sitting on the crouch like most of you watching the game from home.

It looks like either the Seahawks or the Ravens will go to London, the reason the Ravens have to be the visiting team is a clause in the lease from their landlord, the Maryland Stadium Authority, that says "All Baltimore Ravens home games, must be played at M&T Bank Stadium" or something similar  to that.

Also the Ravens have made it clear they don't want to lose a home game and the revenues that go with it!

nah im putting my faith in it being the jags and the offense being better then last season lol

then again if we loose wagner and dont adress the o-line and receiving core , ill be  increasing my work out regime.

gotta at least look in shape when juking them stewards hahaha

And what time do you think they should put a London Thursday game on at? A Thursday would only suit one of the US or UK whereas having it on a weekend means both can watch.
