2016 Trading Block

17 posts in this topic

This will heat up in a major way before the deadline on Tuesday, I believe, but so far, the two most notable names on the block are Sheldon Richardson and Joe Haden.

Anyone else or anyone you'd try to trade for?

I really don't believe we'd be involved in any trades unless we sellers.

With their analytics which I believe is crap I can see the Browns trading Haden.

Holy crap , NE just traded Jamie Collins to the Browns for a 3rd rounder!

Bill knows what he's doing, even if it never makes any sense.

He has earned the benefit due to his past but Collins I feel like was your best LB.

Crazy...... Though Jamie Collins was their best LB so I don't get it. I'm sure they would have had the cap to extend him. Wonder who replaces him and this is a good move for the Browns. They just need to extend him with all the cap they have.

Apparently he wanted Von Miller type money but even then why not ride him out into the playoffs and get a comp pick when someone over pays him. Very weird trade tbh. Browns better sign him in the offseason.

I guess the Pats want that pick to come a bit earlier but I do agree that he could have helped in the playoffs.

If the Browns don't sign him that would be pretty funny although they would likely get a comp for him in the next year

It would be even funnier if somehow the pats managed to resign him.  What if that's a behind the door scheme BB and Collins came up with.  Literally would almost be equal to Hogan/nash/Hall forming the NWO.   Yea... I went there.

We won't do anything.  No flexibility,  unless we send a veteran somewhere.

I don't see that happening.  The Browns have a ton of cap room, so I think if they don't reach a deal with him, they franchise him.  Otherwise the trade makes zero sense for the Browns.

the Browns gonna be 0-16 and will get 1st overall pick so a 3rd round pick of the Browns is like a late 2nd round pick; I think it is very good deal......

It's the Brown's comp pick, meaning it will be at the end of the 3rd round.  I believe this upcoming draft is the first time comp picks can be traded.

NFL Trade Deadline is gone and nothing worthy of note happened. Bucs trade CB Johnathon Banks to Lions for 2018 7th Round pick.

NFL moved the trade deadline to generate excitement and still no excitement.
