2017 WR prospect thread

Mike Williams just had a great pro day for Clemson. He ran in the mid 4.5s, probably solidifying himself as the #1 wr in the draft.

And as for possession wr, we don't need a "possession Reciever; we are looking for a chain mover. Ross can do that!

Then we have M. Williams, Boyle, Crockett, and Waller whom can be possession dudes. I even like rotating Waller in at WR for a "possession WR."

Imagine drafting Ross and having him be our kick returner, while Campanaro is our punt returner and WR in dime situations.

This is a very confusing post. Are you saying we go after both Williams and ross? Cause that would never happen.

Oh and Corey Davis is the best receiver in the draft. Not williams

I'm still not convinced that we're taking Ross in any situation.

Huh? So when are you drafting both Ross and M. Williams exactly?

i agree - he just doesnt seem right as a fit - and as a fan of the ravens for literally any time, it's easy to get a feel for players

A later round target, USC WR darreus rogers ran a 4.90 at his pro day. I was hoping for this guy in the later rounds, but 4.90 hmmm

I want Corey Davis but have yet to a see mock draft with us taking him

2nd choice is John Ross

(DifferentType of Speed )

3rd choice Mike Willams

MY PREDICTION: Zay Jones

could be a steal in the 2nd

Baltimorebeatdown.com just posted a 7 round mock with us taking him in the first. Several of their writers love him and every time they do a mock they somehow have us drafting him.

Anyone have a feel for where Switzer might go?

If I was a GM I'd take him in the 4th or 5th. He displayed that he has the ability to get open during senior bowl practice and he can return punts (was one TD away from tying the NCAA record for punt return TDs).

I'd be willing to use a third comp pick on him, since he seems like a faster Edelman.

Not really surprised. He never looked fast on tape and never generated any sort of separation, so I knew he would run slow. But 4.9 is very slow to say the least

Just a lot smaller. Can't say he's as tough as Edelman either. Not yet at least

really?

Ya I mean his numbers aren't great with Sam darnold as his qb other than a 3td game. He doesn't generate any separation in his routes. Doesn't run great routes to begin with and is pretty much a finished product as he's already a senior. The only thing he really had are strong hands and to me that's not enough to be successful in the NFL. He won't get any separation in the NFL with 4.9 speed.

I mean he could still get drafted in the 6th or 7th round. I just think it's now possible he goes undrafted

Same here.

How come? Davis can do everything Williams can plus he's faster on tape and runs better routes.

Davis can not catch the ball like williams, not even close. Davis has More concentration drops and williams in tight coverage is up there with guys like dez and Julio and fitz, he is unstoppable and routes can improve with coaching, vice grip hands and body control and tenacity can't be coached
