Just gotta pass the bills and cardinals. I hope Corey Davis falls because of his recent surgery. One of those team is going to draft mike Williams. Hope John Ross 40 time shoots him up, and Davis falls to us

Something tells me the Bills will pull the trigger on Davis.

I wouldn't be surprised. All they have is a injury-prone Sammy Watkins. They have to get a WR with their 1st. Lets just hope it's mike Williams. Cause I prefer Corey Davis

Couple questions on Davis

1, did he run his 40 and is he going to? I don't really question his speed(looks to be a 4.4ish) but I am curious to see how fast he is and I haven't found anything there.

2. What is a good game to watch when looking at him?

You could look at the YouTube channel Voch Lombardi, he does film sessions on him, pretty sure he's done Corey Davis already.

He won't run his 40. Idk of any good games but watch voch lumbardis breakdown of him if you want a good feel for him

You could check out his game against Ball St, Buffalo or Ohio his senior season.

If you want to see him playing well against top college talent check his games again Michigan State in 2015 and 2013 his junior and freshman seasons respectively.

What's the latest you could see Davis taken? Some say skipping the combine could drop his stock.

He didn't skip the combine he had a surgery, he still showed up and did interviews and medical examinations. I don't see him going outside the top 20. He really should be top 15

Speaking about Davis, he won't work out at his pro day either:

I still don't think this drops him - he didn't skip the combine interviews or measurements or anything which are the most important bits and his main wr competition for that top spot is no athletic freak - all the teams were probably aware there was a possibility he wouldn't be able to work out at his pro-day which obviously is now the case... he's still my top wr unless there are concerns he won't be healthy for the beginning of the season/ training camp and stuff like that

If we were going wr in the first and Davis and Williams are both there, which one would we take? Are they about equal in talent?

He is very lucky to be in not so great WR class.

You say that but I prefer him to all of the wrs in the last draft as well and maybe everyone except amari cooper in the draft before that

I prefer Davis, but you can make cases for both as the better prospect - they have different strengths and weaknesses - I personally prefer Davis's skill set and have some reservations about the way Mike Williams catches the ball for example but you could make arguments the other way too - it's mostly just going to be about taste in both style and the way you prioritise different traits on film personally

I'd take Davis. I think what Davis brings to the team would be a better fit for what the Ravens are looking for. Though you can't go wrong with either guy.

I'd go Williams, I don't have as many doubts about him as I have about Davis.

I think 3 receivers will go top 20 maybe even top 15.

Hopefully a team takes John Ross for that 40 time, ahead of either Williams or Davis so they can fall to us. Just like in 2013 when Tavon Austin went ahead of DeAndre Hopkins.

I honestly think we have a very legitimate chance of landing Davis. Teams would like to have that speed guy in Ross, and I don't see Davis having a chance of going before Williams.

Ya that would be nice. Ross going top 15 would be good for us in general

Maybe he takes the place of some other guy that could become a good slider for us too

Sub 4.6 40 for Mike Williams at his pro day. Good numbers for a guy his size. Fits well for what we need at receiver.

im still not a fan of the way he catches the football or runs routes - which is why i prefer corey davis - but his big bodied physical play is definitely an attractive quality

Ya Corey is my #1 too and it's not even close. But Williams has that jump ball ability and physicality that we lack in our receiving core. Plus he's made big plays in big moments

oh i see that - but corey's length is pretty attractive too - because mike williams doesnt extend and catch with his hands as much he doesnt use his length entirely to his advantage whereas ive seen corey davis over the middle fully extended and far up in the air with the ball stuck in between his hands - no defender can compete with that - williams is being sold as the big bodied guy but corey davis isn't exactly small

Ya like I said Davis is a complete player. He's got all the tools to be a #1 receiver and he's very refined in his routes. His size seems to be overlooked pretty often

i love the way he runs his routes - and its one of the reasons why the "small school" criticism doesnt wash for me because he runs them properly even when hes given more space to work in by less good defenders - he creates even more space with the way he runs his routes - and then does it against the better dbs that he faced as well

Corey Davis is my #1 but I do love how Williams plucks the ball and is able to dive and jump and catch rediculous catches. I love how that ball does not wobble in his hands when he catches the ball.

But with Williams running a 4.6.... I would almost rather get Kupp in the 2nd round value wise.

It's a sub 4.6. Somewhere in the 4.5 range. That's a very good time especially at his size. Nobody was expecting him to run a sub 4.5
