I was thinking the same thing, not only do we all hate the Patriots but the Bills are like our little brother now that they have so many former Ravens..

I'll be taking a bye myself from football to spend time doing something less frustrating for one week. Watching the Ravens this season has become painful. Kinda like hemroides.

Just an aside, the symmetry between us and the Jaguars is uncanny. They look so unprepared on the game days, their QB wears number , and they just oferred up their OC as a scapegoat for their ineptitude. Does anyone believe that the firing of their OC is gonna turn their team around?

Exactly. "root for the patriots" NO THANKS. I rooted for them to beat the Steelers last week and that might be the first and only time I ever hope for them to win

It's a shame when you have to root for another team just so you can position yourself for a playoff spot. SMH!! If the Ravens have to root for another team to get into the playoffs then maybe they don't deserve to be there.

Look at our O-Line... Reassess this team after the next two games against the Steelers, and Browns on a short week. Dixon is coming...: )

But isn't that what the parity of the NFL is suppose to be about. If all teams are to be equal, as the NFL wants, you have to depend on other team losses to help you to succeed.

I don't like it either, it's just the way it is.

"With the Ravens getting some time away from football during the Week 8 bye, here’s a look at the other games and how they Baltimore."

How they Baltimore? ?

The Redskins Baltimored!!! Well, kinda...they prevented Bengals from a W. The field goal that would have handed them a L would have been better, but at least Skins didn't give the game away after that. That was a stupid interference call last minute of play.

And also realized today Andy Dalton looks like a red Andy Griffith. These London games very educational.

hate rooting for the pats but we need to be looking at the big picture. the whole offense including coaches need to watch the patriots offense and learn something. they are always good year after year while we are always inconsistent. the offense no longer plays physical or smashmouth football. they need to get back to that style of play. castillo runs a finesse style of o-line play. gronkowski is a beast yet we have a pretty big receiver in gillmore and he is not part of the game plan at all.

I'm watching the Browns manhandle the Jets! Josh McCown making throws with D linemen all in his grill! Smh Brady doing the same thing as well! Why can't our multi million dollar QB do the same?! Excuse of the season will be blaming the O line and that is an inaccurate conclusion! Smh

Fitzpatrick took a beating in the 1st half and came out slinging that Rock after the half and is getting it done! And the Jets organization threw him under the bus! Wow!

Wow this buffalo team looks just like the ravens, inaccurate passes and penalties combined with poor speed in the secondary. I'm terrified to face this years pats team later on this year.

the browns i must admit have been in every game thus far. if they finally draft properly they could be a team on the rise under hue jackson who is a fantastic coach. joe haden on the trading block. i would trade next years 2nd and a 4th in 2018 for him in a heartbeat.

I heard it said many times, but watching other teams play today it's easy to see why the game today is driven by the QB and the refs.

A lot of teams don't have outstanding offensive lines. Brady, Cousin, Dalton have all taken a beating today, but the offense still moves the ball and score points. They moved in the pocket, managed the offense at the line, and get rid of the ball quickly and accurately to beat the pass rush.

The other thing I noticed is how the ref are the ones that dominate the game. Too many drives get extended or killed based on a penalty. I saw a lot of contact fouls, roughing the passer, and holding penalties get called that affect the outcome of the drive and ultimately the game. The same refs don't see the helmet shots. Refs are not letting the players determine the outcome. Too many flags.

packers are missing 2 of their top receivers and they are still getting it done with guys they just brought up from the p. squad.. makes me wonder why we are so sloppy when we supposedly have quality depth this season.

I would love that too. Haden would set our corners for the next couple of years but would the Browns trade probably their best player to a division rival.

We don't have a offensive plan as other teams. We just make it difficult to ourselves. We just stink at play calling.

4th quarter, Packers are not getting it done.  They have only put up 24 points and trail Atlanta.

Have you seen how much time Rodgers has to throw?

A 2nd Round draft pick and $11 million in cap space for an aging CB that can't stay healthy? That would also mean that u can't sign BWill. So a 2nd, BWill & all your cap space for Haden who hasn't played a full year since his rookie season - no thanks.

How many have noticed (today) that sooooooooo many other QB's are doing sooooooooo many other things necessary to help their team win / attempt to win their games. I haven't noticed too many QB's that have been in the league for nearly ten years, stand in the pocket for an eternity. Go figure.

I am sure that many hard core business leaders understand the phrase:
"Lead, follow, or get out of the way".
My sense is that the Ravens will continue doing what they have been.
Prove me wrong.

You know it Dawg- the excuses are coming. It will take the burden off of the coaches / brass. Then the ssdd will continue.

Watching the games today various QBs lit it up today! This is why I keep screaming " Keep slinging that Rock" and they are throwing with pressure in their grill or they move the pocket stepping up and finding soft spots to throw! Shootout in the ATL Ryan got A.R. ! Time for some baseball!

I watched a few teams qbs making plays with there feet and arm to get first downs, wonder why we can't do the same. Flacco and the o-line gotta get it together because there is no excuses anymore when other teams have huge injuries too and still show better production on offense then Ravens. The defense also, need to step up and get pressure and push defenders off the ball in the run game. Last can we please find somebody on this team who can be a factor in the return game. Please!!
