Can Camp come back in time for the Steelers game? I'd rather have him than Hester. I was all for Hester coming in, with the thought that he would at the very least secure the ball. Now that he's lost that, how much worse would Camp be. I'm sure he'd be better.

He can be signed immediately after the Steelers game I believe.. Just in time for the browns. Normally thats not nearly enough time to get ready since we're playing on Thursday night but he's familiar with our system so I wouldn't rule it out.

we easily have the toughest schedule in the league from this point on. Also, we are away from home for 4 of the toughest. the chance is gone. I said that unless we go into the bye at a MINIMUM of 5-2 there is no chance in hell we're making the playoffs.

Ok so why are you still here then?

also looking forward to being proven right again even though being proven wrong would be great its just not gonna happen :)

Same. Feel for the guy because he's missed so much time but he's been underwhelming. I hope he can pick it up and have a huge 2nd half of the year.

At the very least , free up Wallace a little bit .

Or vise versa .

Still no SSS today. Outside of Stanley, he's probably the most important to get back. We have no other guys that will make that tough catch in the middle of the field. Hopefully he can practice a little tomorrow so that he can play some Sunday.

You have a strange definition of the word "support". Why are you looking forward to being right if you being right means us losing?

Jimmy's gonna be the MVP when it comes to this game, he's one of the best in the game when it comes to playing AB, for some reason it seems like he just decides to play harder when we play the steelers.

Unfortunately I don't think he will. Artie burns is the kind of corner that can really stop him, long, stupidly fast, decent ball skills. A good route runner will work artie because he has no mirror ability but he sure as hell can run.

We're one win from leading the division and people are STILL being downers...

It's due to our team's past performance for seven games now so it is warranted.  Not like they're being downers just for the sake of it.  Well, some maybe.

Weird. You're just here to "support" our team by playing devils advocate, hoping that the Ravens play poorly, so that it reflects your negative commments, with the end result being you telling us all, "told ya so?" Beautiful. Love fans like you!

With the 4 game losing streak Raven fans have reached a " Crescendo" of doubt laced apathy. Understandable. Hopefully in this home rivalry game against the Steelers the only Crescendo (increased volume in musical notes) we'll hear is the Seven Nation Army. After game 7 and we're playing 8 at home...WHAT!!!

Why not us? This ends tonight. GO Ravens!!! We are the Suicide Squad of the NFL (always has been). Play like RAVENS!

Pretty excited for this game, just for the healthy offensive line alone. I hope to see SSS out there, but that's not likely.

i think the Steelers are blowing smoke with Ben.

Possibly, but it doesn't matter. Ben or no Ben, we've imposed our will before. That's what it comes down to in the end.

Hopefully he will get that pick six back from last year.

This game is so easy to predict. The Steelers have Bell and Brown, and Shazier. We have diddley.  There is no way we can compete with their talented roster and it wouldn't matter if our entire team is healthy.  Steelers win this game without Roethlisberger who will start the game but wont finish it.  27-17 Steelers

"Wouldn't matter if our entire team is healthy"... Wow.

Well we beat them with our practice squad last year so what's that mean?

Julie Donaldson of "Football Central" on Comcast SportsNet, in reference to their upcoming game versus the Steelers asked Charlie Casserly the question; "Can they (Ravens) win this division?"  Charlie responded....

"Julie, it's a winnable division because they could be in first place after Sunday as you pointed out.  But, it comes down to them!  They've got to play well!  They've got to run the ball, get an identity, as far as a team on offense.  Run the ball, be physical; get the play action going.  Be more disciplined in the secondary."

Charlie goes on to say; "Can they do that?  I have no idea if they can do that!"  This game really tells me a lot because you're coming off a bye, you're about as healthy as you can be; play well Sunday to me, indicates that they have a chance!  If they don't?  I just think that we're just going to spin our wheels."

I've made Charlie's statement in bold about the Ravens offense numerous times in here.

@Militant X 1 what's crazy is,  running the ball just seemsseems so obvious,  the fact they've gotten away from it in numerous games when we have still been in it baffles me.  Running the ball to control the clock in this game should be key,  if they haven't figured it out with two weeks off.... They won't.

Steve Smith being out is a pretty big possible loss. Outside of maybe Pitta, Steve is the only other player I trust to make a clutch catch on this team. On 3rd down, it seems as if the only thing opposing defenses have to do is double cover or put a decent corner on Pitta (Revis was on him last time we played on some snaps) and force a throw to someone else.

I agree Charles.  To me, the Ravens offense is not a 3-4 wide receivers "air it out" type of team...personnel wise.  And, neither are Joe or his receivers consistent enough as they need to be for that type of offense to be effective.  It's just not them imo!  Pound the rock!  Run more 2 TE sets!  Get that play action going cause Joe is a beast with that to me.  Stay true to your DNA or "identity"...play physical, run the football and work the hell out of that playaction!

Gotta love Siz.

Aiken comes up with some pretty clutch catches fairly often, but he's also dropped a few catchable ones.( the one to Lose the game the other week comes to mind even though he got decked)  But yeah Steve is definitely needed. Not just for his skills but for his leadership and motivation.

Hopefully we won't have to rely on our receivers too much if our running backs step up with a big game. Jay Ajiyi ran for 200+ on them the other week- let's hope West can do similar damage with fresh legs.

Let's also hope Wallace steps up and shows his old team how its done.

Ravens- Steelers games are usually low scoring affairs, but for some reason I smell a shootout. Something like 37-33 Ravens. Aiken, Pitta and Wallace all find the endzone,  along with Juice and West. We fail on a two point conversion and tucker tacks on a 55 yarder that ends up being the difference. Ben has to find the endzone on the last drive and a huge hit from Peirce just as he throws sends the ball off target and into the hands of Weddle to seal the deal.

One can dream.

I'm just amazed we have a chance to take the Division lead with how we've been playing.

Ben plays/doesn't play - just win.
