To be fair, they did say "it feels like" so cut them a little slack here.

With Stanley and Yanda back in town the OL will allow Flacco to play a little more comfortable. That is a fact. I think our OL will continue to need work but we will discuss that later.

I think the offense looks better with Yanda and Stanley back. If ravens can minimize Brown then ravens should win. Moore needs to get more involved and let's think his drops were an anomaly. I think he is our most shifty nimble route runner. I know Perriman has blazing 4.2 speed but Moore has that Chad Johnson game speed. He is a little more fluid than Perriman and Wallace. He can get separation on any level if used correctly. It is important coaching gets the runners involved throwing them the football. And not just short dump off catches. If healthy that begins with Dixon.

The ravens can see if this draft can help the offense. And that means Dixon Moore and Lewis. Lewis don't look to good playing the interior. The question is would he be an upgrade over Wagner who has shown little since His pro bowl caliber year. Jensen deserves an opportunity at center because Zuttah is terrible. Stanley and Yanda returning will help the run game and Flacco. The OL should be priority this offseason. You do not need stats to show Flacco is there with the elite QBs like Brady Bree's and Rivers when his OL dominates. It allows him to scan his targets and throw comfortably. But with Yanda,Stanley playing and maybe Jensen at center the OL should at least look adequate. When the OL dominates Flacco can play well.

Big Ben practiced today and was supposively running the no huddle. That knee injury must have had a real affect on him. /sarcasm

Apparently it was only one session in 7 on 7.

hypothetical to flacco/harbs/fo fans.

If ben doesnt play and we LOSE this game.

will you continue to beat the flacco drum and divert blame elsewhere?

It depends on how he plays.

Duh.

Ah okay. Just going off of what I read on ESPN. Still, if he's able to drop back and plant off of that knee to throw the football in 7 on 7, one would expect him to play in a game 6 days away.

actually it seems that flacco can play awful in most games and some people here just wont budge on him.

How exactly are we supposed to react?

lol, they could bring him out of retirement for 2 games a year every season and get their money's worth. I hope Suggs can stop getting freak injuries and play with his longevity

I think he was probably testing his knee to see if would be comfortable enough to play.

The legend of Judon continues as he delivers a Bart Scott like crushing hit on Big Ben this game.

I think the Raven are better off with Ben playing honestly. As great as Ben is, he's not a stand in the pocket and shred you type guy. He still struggles hitting hot reads and will often hold onto the ball in hopes for a bigger play. But if the knee is truly an issue, than Ben won't have the escapability that he usually has. Getting CJ and Suggs back would be huge.

The real work starts this week.  3-4.  Ravens turns this around, and we goto the playoffs.  No more 5-11 folks!!

This team gets to the playoffs and anything can happen. Definitely don't want to get ahead of myself, but I feel so confident that this team will turn things around with a healthy 2nd half team. Looks like the AFC West will have 3 teams make the playoffs and the North will only have 1. So this game is so much more important than any other because winning the division is probably the only path to the playoffs. The Ravens host their AFCN counterparts 3 of the next 4 weeks. Things could turn around real quick.

This game is so huge for one reason. The Bengals and Steelers remaining schedule is very favorable compared to ours. We have some very good teams left to play.

If asked before the beginning of the year what we needed to be going into the bye, I would have said 5-2. We are 3-4. If we lose to the Steelers, I see no way of us making the playoffs. Even if we do win, it will be a difficult task.

This'll be a tough one, I expect Ben to play every down and I can see Bell being used quite a bit of Mosely isn't there. We have NO #2 CB right now so I have no clue who's covering Coates. If we have our full O-line back I see Joe having a mini resurgence.

Yea, i dont know about this right here.  I could see him having a pretty good game against us, especially if we cant bring any pressure, even if he is still injured.

any QB can and will shred you if you don't get pressure on them.

Clearly, but Ben isnt just a normal qb and he has two top 3 players at their position.  I honestly expect him to have a good game, i can see a 300+ 3TD game for him here.

One reason I always like playing the Steelers is because Tomlin seems to outsmart himself.

The past several years they should have just come out in a hurry up offense, spread out their O and used all of their weapons. But they always seem to come out and make a statement by going run, run, pass which is the gameplan we are set up to stop. I just think our pass rush is nowhere near where it needs to be and teams that can air it out are the ones we will have problems with. The last time they just aired it out, I don't need to bring up because my TV was watching something else by halftime and Ben set some type of record.

Tomlin always seems to make some major mistake in games against us. Whether it's in game plan, or in how he botched our first meeting last year. It's always something.

Good points, i think Tomlin is a very over-rated coach

And just like the Upshaw hit, watch it be an unnecessary roughness call.

That's very possible, I wouldn't put it past Ben. I give him all the respect for the things he does. I was just saying if the knee is truly an issue he's just as likely to complete less than 60%, throw multiple Ints and get sacked 5 times.

I just think of that one game he came back from being injured, (cant remember details) and Suggs goes to grab him for a sack, Ben shruggs him off and just gets rid of it
