If we gave up Butler to sign Hester and then end up cutting Hester next week that will just be the icing on the dysfunctional cake that has become the Ravens. We just can't seem to carry out the simplest of player personnel decisions correctly. Every one they do they mess up and we end up without the guy we need and we get stuck with a dumpster refugee for the stupidest of reasons. To listen to Harbaugh and Rosburg talk, Hester was not only still the guy who could get it done, they could hardly wait for him to show he was still great, yet they didn't even test him enough to see if he could come back and perform after missing two years. That's because of their special teams background and they wanted SO bad to be any part of Devin Hesters history. I have yet to see any player who missed just one year that didn't come back and suffer some muscle tear or strain whether it be hamstring, bicep, or whatever. Once again, leave it to Ozzie and John to let a guy go who catches anything around him and keeping a guy who hadn't been on the field in two years and it will soon will be three.

All I have to say to Ozzie is, you better take those draft picks you store up like they are gold and use them to get at least 2 picks in the first round and 2 in the second round to start filling these holes, or should I say caverns that the Ravens have. We need PLAYMAKERS, and rarely do they come in the third round or later (have some teams scored later with players, yes, but rarely and we never have). We don't need functional players because we can't coach them up, we need legitimate first round picks that can become pro bowlers. AND we need them NOW. When you have playmakers like Lewis, Reed, Ngata, Rice, Boldin, etc... you can draft 15 players and hope for a diamond in the rough. When the only great player you have is your kicker, Tucker, then you need a bunch of picks in the first couple rounds because you don't even have a core to build around. I know they thought Flacco would be that guy but he is not and he needs to take a paycut so they can get the players around him so he can be successful.

The only Pro Bowl player we have is Tucker and he was Undrafted. I think that about sums it up. Joe Flacco right now is one of the worse quarterbacks in the league and unless that changes we are in for a long season. All the hoopla with our alleged "Weapons" for what? Surely not what I was expecting. All I know right now is it feels like continuation of last season. Counting last season we are now 8-15. just Frustrated!

I'm not giving up on my squad because the Ravens are a good team and they needed this bye and so do I Lol but maybe all this hoopla will light a fire under some butts and beating the squeelers will go a long long way! Beating the squeelers can do wonders and Joe needs to hit his buddy Pitta more like brady is going to gronk down field! The Jets have a good D Line and they shutdown the run but the run will get going against the squeelers but running on 1st down all the time will not help the O line! Out of ten plays two should be runs to open it up! Running on 1st and 2nd down is killing us and making the Ravens predictable and harder on the O line! Come on Joe grow that mustache back and give me back my Gunslinger we need him to save the season! IT AINT OVA! LETS GO! Sincerely The Troll! Lol

Sorry but, I can't believe the Ravens would even entertain bringing Camp back. It's not his play, It's his body. The dude just cannot stay healthy and should come with a big warning stamp on his forehead (Caution:Fragile). Every time I see him take a hit, I hear glass shattering in my mind,

A 2.5-hour meeting analyzing the game play-by-play? Fans do that every Sunday in front of their TVs, and spend 3 hours or more at it.

Rehashing only goes so far. Pretty soon more heads need to roll than just the OC's.

“He doesn’t want anyone taking it personally, which, at the end of the day, it happens a little bit. Coaches take things personally; players take things personally.”

And taking it personally is what it is going to take because now they know eyes are on them!!!

Good Lord, it's not about making heads roll - you need continuity in a 11 man sport. Joe is on his 100th Offensive Coordinator in 9 years!!! New Secondary Coach in Frasier, new players in key positions, young players in new roles. This takes time and for people to think we aren't rebuilding - what the heck do ya'll call it?!?!?!?!? We need to just hang around the AFCN, win the division then make a run. That's been Harbaugh's MO his entire career and that's what they did in 2012. It can be done, it just comes down to how bad do the players want it...

Why not?  To me, he's worth a roster spot WAAAAY more than Hester.  At least when Camp is healthy, he provides another option on offense and he is at least a respectable returner.  Hester offers NOTHING on offense and so far, NOTHING on special teams other than a fumble risk.  Hester was AWESOME in his prime, but he is done and needs to retire.  No harm in bringing Camp in....Get what you can out of him before his body breaks down...OR if we are extremely lucky, he stays healthy for once.

Seriously Fans This organization interviewed hundreds of players and coaches and said this is "the BEST of the BEST' for the 53 team roster. Does anyone believe much is going to change after the bye?

Mosley Suggs B.Williams and Weddle were all playing at pro bowl level but our offense couldn't muster out a few more wins.

Do you really think they will make the Pro Bowl?

How can it be we average more offensive yards than the Eagles, Vikings and Broncos? Is this stat worth a conversation. No. The stat that reflects the Ravens is how leads dissolved in the 4th quarter. Is the defensive or offensive team responsibility for losing that advantage. Which team actually is killing the organization? I think the goat awards go to the O side because we could not execute effective plays and gave the opposition the mental edge to carry on for their win.As I had stated before, I believe the faults are a player and coach fail. Getting rid of Trestman proved it.

Aiken has not made the "Big" catch and his touches are far and few between. Is his mental concentration as sharp as last year? It seems that his role has been degraded when Smith is out and Perriman has been targeted. .

I agree on Weddle and B Williams Tucker is the only "for sure" name fit for Pro Bowl status right now.

The difference between Bill Belichick and John Harbaugh is in New England, I bet, Bilicheck does this EVERY WEEK... & after a few weeks playing in New England, players start to really really understand quickly to pay attention and play sound football or else!!!

And for Joe Flacco, I bet Tom Brady still puts in twice as much time as Joe on his technic... You knew Peyton Manning did! Johnny Unitas and Raymond Berry did, but you NEVER NEVER NEVER hear Joe putting in the work that makes an Elite QuarterBack GREAT!... from what I hear tell, around 4:30PM Joe is nowhere to be found at the Castle in Owings Mills ... It seems he is putting that extra time into being a great breeder !!! That's about the only results we seem to see...

>>> The Ravens don’t usually meet as a full team on Mondays, but the bye schedule moved it up. The sessions don’t usually last nearly three hours either. Per Flacco, Harbaugh usually has just a handful of clips to review – both good and bad.

This time, however, the entire team reviewed every single offensive and defensive snap together, in order of the game, dissecting mistakes and pinpointing where to improve. They didn’t review the special teams plays together. The special teams unit actually met as a group for 45 minutes first, and then continued with the rest of the team for the longer two-and-a-half-hour session.

Was there some hard coaching taking place?

“Yeah. Oh, of course,” Flacco said.
