No, I agree, Cam has been childish, and a sore loser. Which is maybe too bad, because people won't take this latest complaint seriously, when in fact, he raises a legitimate issue. As others have pointed out, Cam's not the only QB who does not consistently get those calls.

Yeah agreed, if he hadn't built such a bad rep (in my eyes) earlier I think people wouldn't fan it off so easily. It's kinda like Kap with kneeling.

I wasn't referring to this comment about race baiting. Past crap he has brought up though he has. And he is no major QB he's just another dime a dozen fraud of a running QB that has 1 or 2 decent seasons. None of those seasons are decent average passing rates either even with a good team.

The man was voted the MVP of the NFL in 2015.  Regardless of how you personally feel about him, that makes him a major QB in the league and he should be protected like the other ones are.

Exactly.

And has anybody watched Br*dy's temper tantrums right in the face of the refs when he feels he deserves a call?  Talk about childish.

Here is a article out about 11 QB's that have more missed calls than Cam. Guess who's on the list?

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/10/31/nfls-position-on-cam-newton-11-quarterbacks-have-more-missed-roughing-calls-since-2013/

So the NFL knows how much the fans criticize the officials as it stands, and now they bring to light something else for the fans to be mad at the officiating? This is concerning that the NFL knows officials miss calls but don't do a damn thing about it. Anyone want to do a Over/Under on how many roughing calls will be missed tonight between the Vikings and Bears?

The problem with cam is the rules change once he tucks and runs, as you guys know.  Im just sick of him whining.  Yea some calls should be made, but guess what, some get missed.  I think Collin Cowherd said that Cam has received more roughing the passer calls in the last two years than Brady, Ben, and cant remember the others...

But the issue with this is a lot of these hits he's talking about are in the pocket as he attempts to throw. The one he's talking about from Sunday gets called 100/100 times if it's Brady. It was so blatantly obvious. Then you have to think back to the Denver game. The amount of shots he took to the head was unreal without one being called.

You can think what you want about Newton's appearance and attitude but he has every right to be pissed off. The amount of head shots he got vs Denver was enough for entire season and then some.

Yes, I agree about the Denver game.  I honestly didn't watch the yesterdays game, I just heard the stat that hes gotten more flags than some of the major QBs when I was listening to Cowherd this morning.  Its definitely an issue.  But some of the flags Brady has gotten over the years are insane: remember when Ray Lewis was tripped up and he rolled into brady, flag.  Suggs trying to knock down a ball, grazed Brady's helmet, flag.  Remember when brady slid and kick Ed Reed, no flag.  I don't think there is a way to fix this issues, especially on a running qb.  And Josh Norman is an idiot, the refs do get reprimanded for making bad calls.

They showed the play before the SNF game, I think, and it was bad, honestly. Hitting him below the knees after he had thrown and no flag. If you can check it out, do so because that's the type of call he has an issue with and I agree.

I think one was finally called towards the end of the game but it was an offsetting penalty. Cam takes his share of shots though. That Denver game was pretty tough to watch.

I would love to see a full list on who gets favored the most with these calls, I don't think Brady gets favored as much as people think around here but I do think Flacco has quite a few missed calls probably because he doesn't care.

Just watched it on my phone.  Yea that should be a flag 100% of the time.  That's the Brady rule.

Its pretty amazing what Vikings are doing right now.   No QB, No Oline, AP gone.  Still looking dominant and top of their game.   Thats a team that is giving no --- and just winning.   Props to vikings.   That should be US though!!

Alright I see the Bears are dressed up as a WINNING NFL team for Halloween. Only way to explain how they are ahead 20-3 over the Vikings.

Did anyone notice how bad the Vikings OL was last night. Bradford couldn't get anything going. OL injuries have derailed them the last two weeks & even the best D can't make up for that.

Oh, and how's that Jake Long fellow doing at LT? LOL

I know.  That bugs me so much.  It seems like he whines to the official, then they throw the flag.  I wish they'd start giving Brady an unsportsmanlike penalty for whining! (Yes, I know this will never happen--but, if the NFL is doing it for TD celebrations to promote sportsmanship-they should do it for whining and complaining to the officials like Brady does)
