2016 Week 8 Other Games Discussion

Raiders beat the Bucs in OT and break record 23 penalties in one game. You see,,You gotta play tough and whip up your opponents. This is something the Ravens defense can learn, We lost that image we need to get it back. It doesn't matter refs call penalties against you. All it matters is you beat the living crap out of your opponents. Ravens are playing like a bunch of nice guys on the field. Remember the hit Tony Siragusa on Rich Gannon in playoffs?  Why don't we start playing like that again?

This guy was a monster. Why cant Ravens play like aggressive monsters again?

Now why cant Ravens play like that. Its time to play like tough men like warriors instead like little boys.

Because penalties aren't a good thing. They're making plays alongside those penalties. We'd just be getting penalized without the plays and that'd be even worse.

Reed i mean personal foul penalties like hitting guys late and hitting them when they go out of bounds on other teams bench and really hitting the QBs hard who cares? If they're worn out and sore thats when we can come back and win

After watching the Raiders vs. Bucs game, I couldn't help but wonder: had that been us losing a game to a team that got penalized 23 times, this website would've crashed.

I think you need to become a Bengals fan.

It's quite possible we would at least beat them in flags, BAL 25 - OAK 23

Wow. So there's two ties this season. That's crazy. Also, it's kind of a shame the Browns couldn't pull off the win against the Jets.

Jerry Jones would be stupid to go back to Tony Romo after Dak just took them down the field in OT and win the game. Cowboys should look into trading Romo next offseason, get picks for him and move on. Dak is the real deal.

While I mostly agree with you,  let's hold off on annointing Dak.   He has certainly earned the right to keep the job but I think we need to see about 2 years of him before you can say he's the future.   Howany young QBs looked good and promising then fell flat on their face.

Apparently Cam Newton wants to talk to Roger Goodell about "horse crap" hits. As Cam feels he isn't getting the calls others might.

Quote

It’s really taking the fun out of the game for me,” Newton said , via Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer. “At times I don’t even feel safe. And enough is enough. I plan on talking to commissioner [Roger] Goodell about this. And I don’t know what I have to do.”

Quote

“The story of my life ever since I came in is, ‘Oh, oh, well, we missed that one. I’m sorry. I’ll try to get it.’ That’s bullcrap. As player in this league if we do something stupid we get fined. If you do something derogatory to somebody else, we get fined. I just can’t keep accepting, ‘Oh, we missed that one.’ Or ‘I apologize for doing that.’ Or ‘I didn’t see it.’ That’s horsecrap.’ . . .

Hey Cam.... welcome to the Club.

Signed,

Joe Flacco

Cam's a whiney bad attitude race baiting moron. I hope he continues to get drilled.

I think Tyrod has more of a right to be upset than Cam. Tyrod was clearly hit out of bounds, no flag when clearly there should have been a flag. Yet you don't hear a single peep from Tyrod about it, Flacco takes those same hits and doesn't get calls, you don't hear nothing from him. Telling ya, all that losing got to them and they never became humble through out the losing early on.

Agreed with everything you said. Tyrod doesn't have the luxury of a good team or playoffs either.

There was nothing "race-baiting" about a QB complaining that he feels that he's not getting the calls like the other major QB's in the league.  Smh...

I wasn't referring to this comment about race baiting. Past crap he has brought up though he has. And he is no major QB he's just another dime a dozen fraud of a running QB that has 1 or 2 decent seasons. None of those seasons are decent average passing rates either even with a good team.

Wow, a little salty here are we?

Honestly, it's about time somebody spoke up about the preferential treatment a certain cry-baby QB up north gets.

Not salty, I was with cam even with some of his antics up until his superbowl play and post game child behavior. I ignored his bs before that. If you are a fan of him then by all means.

No, I agree, Cam has been childish, and a sore loser. Which is maybe too bad, because people won't take this latest complaint seriously, when in fact, he raises a legitimate issue. As others have pointed out, Cam's not the only QB who does not consistently get those calls.
