Flacco is playing scared and uncomfortable. He's holding on to the football way too long (which can also be blamed on wide receivers not getting open, ever) and seems to have lost whatever was left of his pocket presence. The amount of under or overthrown balls is just insane, especially to wide open receivers.
Like I said in an other article. Maybe just try a start Mallett after the bye and see how that works out. It's close to impossible to make things even worse and you can get a good look on where the problem really lies. If he can somehow get this offense going it's clear that Flacco is not healthy enough to play and if he doesn't we at least know it can't all be blamed on Flacco's mediocre play.

Our season will literally be decided on Nov 6. Someone needs to light a fire underneath every single player's behind and get ready to get healthy for the Steelers game. With our line back in place with Stanley/ Yanda and SSS joining the mix plus a hopeful return of Mosley and a rotational Suggs, we have potential to win games and that mentality needs to click or we better pray that we continue to stink for some top tier talent in the draft

we have too many moving skeletons on the roster as starters, Hester is good as gone, Webb is done playing football, our OL is atrocious, we actually played better vs giants we ran the ball pretty good, flacco is not the same after the injury.

Season O-V-E-R. The horrible drafts from the last seven to eight years are finally catching up to us. Not enough IMPACT Players. To many roster fillers.

If Harbaugh realizes he's on the "hot seat" and cares about saving his job maybe just M*A*Y*B*E he will infuse some life back into the Ravens while just 1 game out of first place and over the bye corrects the nuisances which are killing our team. Go Ravens!!!

the most disappointing thing is that we drafted for pass rush... we passed on Hargraves and Ramsey and others to boost our Pass rush and we have zero pass rush. In fact KC looks like the next Arthur Brown!

The notion that Harbaugh cares is absurd considering this has gone on for the last 2 seasons. When the players don't want to play for a head coach any longer this is what it looks like. Too many times Harbaugh cost the game with 'gambles' that did not work out. And the players don't trust him anymore. Plain and simple. Injuries can be feigned by players who are dismayed. Just too many are reporting issues. Like it or not that's the way it is.

How exactly do you propose offense scores when Flacco is getting so beat up that for a moment I couldn't tell him apart from Ryan Tannerhill?

We really really really need Yanda and Stanley back. And I'm not even talking about need them to win some games, I mean we need them so that by end of season there are no little Flacco orphans.

He's a tough guy generally, but he was playing so scared it was cringeworthy.

Then that's a problem with the QB. Idk how long people will give Flacco excuses. A good QB makes plays even when the odds are against him. I honestly don't know any other way to explain it besides saying Flacco has been consistently getting worse. He has no fire, no leadership, we are in a bad spot. If I was an advisor to Ozzie Newsome we would not be in this position we are in now. This isn;t something that happened overnight, this is the result of years of poor tweaking and decision making by Harbaugh.

"He has no fire, no leadership, we are in a bad spot." That has nothing to do with it. When Flacco gets pressured up the middle he gets happy feet and throws poorly (not making excuses, pointing out the fact). It has nothing to do with his leadership or "fire" and everything to do with his tendencies and shortcomings, Zuttah generally sucking, and Flacco/the offense's inability to make reads and adjustments pre-snap.

I thought the pass protection was okay considering Zuttah was manhandled on every single play...the issue on offense is there is no attempt at balance.

The secondary has no interest in tackling they were waiting for someone else to make plays while they were spectating.

The secondary is straight up slower than slugs and the balance was lost as we literally got wrecked at the line by the jets

False. Dallas wanted our third rounder. Oz was too cheap and would you just look at that. Our third rounder is out for the year and plays too high regardless. Don't get me wrong though, Stanley will be a very good tackle, but we need speed and versatility in our secondary too

For the first time in the Flacco era, I have lost all confidence in him. He looked beyond tentative and scared. I think the Ravens decided to sit Stanley in hopes they could get by and have him evern more healthy come the Steelers game. Frankly I was embarrassed by our overall performance yesterday and think Harbaugh's job may well be on the line over the remainder of the season. If Harbaugh goes, Ozzie may hang it up as well. Maybe an overreaction, but maybe not. Also agree that Hester simply is not the right guy. I think we should bring Elam back from IR, resign Campanaro and pray we see a vastly improved Flacco and an elimination of stupid mistakes aka Jernigan/Mosley!

unless flacco is traded to a team willing to take on his insane contract especially when he has played like crap we are stuck with him for 5 more years so enough with the cut flacco talk because that is not going to happen. if flacco looks like crap on nov 6th than i would make the switch to mallett and see what he can do for a couple of games. i believe castillo will be fired today or tomorrow. the o-line sucks. pees has no clue on how to get kc, judon etc..etc.. to the qb. he is just not a creative dc and he is terrible with in game adjustments. receivers cannot get separation on a consistent basis. 2 weeks to figure things out and improve as a team. we shall see

Does anyone know why Stanley did not play after practicing all week? Put Urshel at center Zuttah can't block! Get rid of Castillo . He only had a good OL the year Kubiak was here and that took a while to sort out. Unless there is a big change in game planning by the coaches and execution by the players can we muster more than 2 more wins this year? Also get rid of the white jersey and black pants uniform. We look like a nothing college team and play like it! If we take pride in how we look maybe it will rub off in their play.

Crisis mode started long before this season.

Since 2010 we have the following players still on our roster who were picked in the first 3 rounds!

2010 - 0 players
2011 - 1 Jimmy Smith
2012 - 0 players
2013 - 2 Elam, Brandon Williams
2014 - 2 Mosely, Jernigan,
2015 - 3 Perriman, Max Williams,Carl Davis
2016- 3 Stanley, KC, Kafusi

11 players picked from the first 3 rounds are still here since 2010 out of 21!
Of the 11 Jimmy, Mosely and Williams are good! The rest are bust or cant stay on the field! Stanley has great potential when healthy.

Either Ozzie is picking the wrong players or our coaches cannot develop talent! Please tell me the purpose of stock piling picks that will not be on the team!

I've asked the Stanley question all weekend!! He says he is ready, he practices all week yet inactive on game day and he says it's Harbaugh's decision. Something is awfully weird there.

We need to pursue WR in free agency hard for some reliable possession WRs that get open. Chris Moore and Perriman have not been reliable whatsoever thus far, limited experience aside.

I was studying for an exam while I was watching the game simultaneously. My attention was much more on my exam than the game, but everytime I turned to the television and saw what was happening I just couldn't believe how noncompetitive this team has become. Actually, if you guys want to know the truth, I'm not shocked because I said years ago that Harbaugh was the problem. From his roster decision making, allowing sorry players to stay on this team taking up space, and let alone not giving Daniel Brown a fair shot. I guess our so called "Experts" will begin to see what I saw years ago. Anyone can check my post history and see I've said for years "Harbaugh took the credit from Ray Lewis." He's a good guy, but a poor HC.

So, then wouldn't the Ravens have like 8 Super Bowls from 2001-2009 when Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Suggs & Ngata were in their prime? How do explain that? If by your logic, John Harbaugh is a poor HC then Rex Ryan, Brian Billick, Chuck Pagano must be the worst coaches of all time. SMH

It's pretty simple - the guys who practice the best, play. So that means that Daniel Brown is worse than every other player at his position. Yet you want him to start. How did your other favorite WR do this Sunday against us? Oh that's right - Jeremy Butler was inactive.

Let's wait and see what occurs after the bye. Either the Ravens will be flaming hot and crush opponents or will continue spiraling out of control to a 3-13 record. Go Ravens!!

Do you actually believe it'll be anything different from what you've seen the past month?

How can you say he looks like Arthur Brown, he never made it on the field? With both Suggs and Dummervil out that is not a fair comparison and he hasn't finished season one yet.

Yes the Ravens are playing awful football right now, but so are the Panthers, Saints, Cardinals & Jags (despite having drafted franchise saviors Jalen Ramsey AND Myles Jack...lol). But we are still in this.

You can cry, whine and pine to fire everyone and take your ball and go home because things aren't going your way. But we are going to stay and fight til the end and support our team all the way. We are 1 game back from the division lead - 1 GAME! I don't care who's on the schedule or how good you think they are, anything can happen.

A team a few hours north in Ohio likes to fire everyone, make changes at QB, draft "Alpha Dogs", etc - maybe they are more your style (I hear housing is cheap and so are tickets).

Me? I'm gonna Ride or Die! Ride or Die! Go Ravens!

Chris Moore looks great on Special Teams. After they get rid of Hester he should be Catching Punts. He has a Tenacity about him, like he showed on the fumble by the punter, As for Receiver give him sometime.

I agree on the stockpiling of Late Round Picks, But Jernigan is not a bust. Also, 2015 and 2016 picks are too early to call busts, even though they are under performing compared to picks from other teams.

Harbaugh is an average coach: with good players he is a good coach, when he has to scheme to cover up players' deficiencies he just can't do it. And that's not really an indictment on him; it simply means he has to be told by the FO that he NEEDS some of those "alpha dogs" that know their worth and speak their minds to win. I'm guessing those illusions of grandeur he had have begun to wear out and he'll be more receptive to constructive criticism now.

Question; who on this Ravens team sulks, yells, gets in teammates faces behind the scenes when they are losing? Who is that guy that barks at teammates who lazily jog to the LOS during a 2 minute drill? Above all who is that Raven who has the cojones to go up to the coach and say, "Hey, coach, I respect you and all, but this right here... this won't get it done", and the coach respond, "I understand"? Don't tell me Steve Smith because that guy is long gone; the Smith you have now is an elder statesman who tries to say "all the right things" so that he'll be remembered as the adult in the room when he leaves.

Steve Bisciotti, Dick Cass, Ozzie Newsome and co. might need to reevaluate how the organization is constructed (team philosophy), and then give Harbaugh the option of getting on board or leaving. He's done it HIS way (bring in only choir boys who dare not challenge the HC) since the Superbowl and it has been a total failure-- don't take my word, check the record. So it's time to scrap his way and go back to the way it was his first 5 years-- "Ravens type" players are brought in and he manages them.
