at this point one must think there is a coaching problem. Same thing every week "We need to play better" We're not playing winning football", Yet each week they keep getting worse. Hope something turns around soon.

Harbaugh is the problem, the Ravens need to clean house.

he's not the whole problem.. look at the draft picks Baltimore has picked up in the last 10 years.. how many pro-bowlers are in there? Not very many huh? guess whoever is making the draft choices is pretty bad at their job. I think bscotti needs to fire everyone not named biscotti and start over.

I have been screaming about Ozzie Newsome's blown high draft picks for years and all I get is grief from those who think he can do no wrong. Ever since Ozzie drafted Sergio Kindle, it has been all downhill. I watch the NFL draft and no one, absolutely NO ONE, had Matt Elam rated as a first round pick. Same with Perriman. A ball dropper in college and a ball dropper in the NFL. OH, he is sooooo fast. Yeah, right. If he is so fast, why can't he get behind cornerbacks, and even if he does, there is a 50% chance he will drop the pass. Yeah, real value Ozzie. Our drafts have killed us.

Completely agree with you. And when Oz does hit gold, we let those players walk out the door. I still think we should have done whatever it takes to keep KO. We won't find another player like that anytime soon. And because we have no left side of the O-line now, our QB who is getting outrageous amounts considering the quality of his game, is so afraid of getting injured he is literally flopping on the field. Flacco would be decent, if he had protection. Instead we let arguably the best young lineman walk - the only recent draft pick who has been worth a damn.

It'll take 2-3 years at best to get out of the hole we are in.

I would give anything to get Rex Ryan and Cam Cameron back like we were in 2008, over the years we gave or let go far too many good players that we've should have kept on because of the draft, a bunch of high dollars wanna be's that rather sit on the bench than play football because they crying about a little pain, hire me for $15 an hour and I'll keep the bench warm for them, there's no fire or determinations in the player and definitely not in Joe Flacco, not sure if they care if they win or not....

Harbs is clueless

Did you really think a Special team coach knew what he was doing? He was just going along for the ride. Little did fans realize when Ray said "This will be my last ride" it was meant for ALL of US especially John & Joe.

This team makes the same mistakes and the same excuses every game. It's like they're trying to lose. If they can lose four straight to the teams they just faced, who can they beat? Maybe Cleveland, but that's it. This team is short on talent and short on leadership. Ask yourself this -- who is a star on the Ravens? Someone who takes over a game? Someone whose dominating play demoralizes the other team? You can't name one, can you? Not one.

What they've said here all sounds reasonable to me. They know they have problems and identified them specifically (something I felt was downplayed early on in season). The missing element is their, so far, inability to CORRECT those mistakes they keep talking about. But I understand each loss what they are saying and I know they INTEND to fix the problems. They have two weeks to reflect and repair. And if they can't make much out of the second half of season I'll still be a Ravens fan. I'd rather see them triumph though. It's completely up to them. I'm sure they are tired of talking about these issues as we are of hearing about it. But, I understand it. It's the nature of the NFL. My second team, Dallas Cowboys, they haven't won a SB in decades. Decades. But they are good this year and have a shot. Not every team prevails and none all the time. I understand what Ravens are going through and they don't want to be in the place and they feel they are better than this. I agree!

“For our team with where we’re at right now, we’re not going to be a margin-for-error team,” Harbaugh said. “It’s not going to be like that. We need to be a sound, tough-minded, fundamentally smart football team.” ~ Harbaugh

So since we've lost 4 in a row due to the same issues over and over again, I guess what coach is telling is is that we don't have a sound, tough-minded, fundamentally smart football team.

Now that we've identified the problem, now it is time to address it. #firesale.

If this team tanks this year I honestly think this is Harbaugh's last season. It has the Brian Billick feel all over again.

The mistakes the Ravens committed can be corrected with with good coaching. I'm sure Harbaugh and Company will correct the areas needing fine tuning and after the bye the Ravens will be back to playing winning football led by our elite QB at the helm.

Pass the pipe man. LOL

John could be on the hot seat. He is turning into Billick, where he wouldn't sit Boller. What a horrible effort by the offense today. Horrible.

Time for a new OC I'd imagine

LOL. John is "never" to blame.

I've been clamoring for ONE thing over the years, ONE. Stockpile the offensive and defensive lines. We ALL know the game is won or lost in the trenches. We need to be deeper than we are at those positions. And it shows, painfully, every week that Yanda and Stanley sit out. We only have 2 O-Linemen on the injury report, that's it!!! And look how bad we are. 6 yards rushing this week!!! Are you kidding me. PATHETIC!!!

Not the worse coaching group in the NFL but; a pretty continuous level of mediocrity. We do not have one coach that is above average. Our head coach is clueless and has been since the day he arrived.

Being clueless when you arrive is not so awful being clueless 9 yrs later is a travesty.

Then there's Joe I have defended Joe and most likely will continue to defend him. He has a lot of talent. Is he dumb, lazy, what? He has progressed very little since arriving here. He has been beaten senseless with this continuous lousy line. Maybe he really is scared. I can't guess as to what will work. I do believe he has been poorly coached. Also no one gets in in face and demands performance..

Then there's the FO who have been given unwarranted glory for stumbling onto an occasional gem while screwing everything else up. Same problems over and over. We have had a lousy secondary for how many years. Our O-line is inconsistent, ; our receivers have talent but; don't perform. Our "D" no longer feared or respected.

This is not a good team. We have the talent so my thinking says it's the coaching or lack thereof. I believe these guys play hard and want to win they just don't know how. WHY?

Well, if we don't have ILB covering a WR, maybe that TD doesn't happen. That was a mismatch from the get go and we were burned for it.

The question is no longer "is Flacco an elite QB?"....the question now is he a "Delete QB?"

Are you saying Ravens should have TDilfer'ed him after the SB?

Im saying Flacco had one good run....that was it. He doesn't have a good football IQ....he's slow Joe. If it weren't for the D, and Ray Rice all of those years, no way we would be stuck with him right now!
