The sun rises and sets on the QB and it is showing BIG TIME! And I thought that other pass was batted down at the line but nope it was thrown into the dirt! And that FLOP with no one around him should be enough evidence to all that keep blaming the O line and Harbs! It's time for a change! Sincerely The Troll smh
PS my week is screwed again because I eat and sleep Ravens football! It's time for a change and Mallet needs to start to save the season or it will be more excuses and unnecessary finger pointing! Smh

mallett isnt the answer either. the roster is talent deficient. ozzie, decosta and the scouts are to blame. harbs and his poor selection of position coaches are to blame as well. bisciotti needs to slam his fist into the wall or table and demand better from these guys

Man please Joe is making everyone look bad! Now people talking about Ozzie and Co and and that sounds pathetic! The man did a flop and then threw a pass in the dirt and missed WRs on crucial 3rd downs and Ozzie and Co and Harbs are not the ones throwing the ball!
Joe is done and we are stuck with him! Mallet will win his first game and Joe will be history but like I said we stuck with him! This is the NFL and Joe can't handle pressure like i see other QBs do on a weekly basis! This is a good football team being lead by a QB that can't cut it anymore! Joe needs to be benched ITS ON FILM! SMH

We can't give up on this season. The bye week will allow Harbaugh and Co. to make adjustments to the team especially to the o-line which can get us back on track. Joe may have had a mental lapse during the game here and there, but heck he must have been thinking about what cartoon to watch on his game tablet and could not wait to get back to the sidelines quick enough!

It starts at the top!!!!!! Head coach does not have them prepared and the entire team is making really bad decisions........ it would be nice to have an O-line that can handle the run................Let's pray that the off week will help get all back on the same page or am I dreaming/

"Joe's clunker performance can't be blamed on injury"! What part of this can't some people understand?! This is a good football team and talent is being wasted!

This is getting tiring every week. Too many excuses. Each week, the Ravens find new ways to beat themselves. If it isn't penalties, it's injuries or turnovers, or something else. They are not a good team, despite what Harbs or anyone else may say. "You are what your record says you are," said Parcells, and the Ravens have lost 4 in a row, after barely having won the first 3. No commitment to the run game, vanilla offensive schemes, throwing interceptions, zero red zone efficiency, poor conditioning, poor tackling, poor blocking, and the list goes on perpetually. Yet here we are, the fans, hoping that the Steelers lose so that we can stay a game back (and they lost, but to NE - I wish they both could have lost). Flacco is the worst QB in the league right now. Perhaps he should not cash a couple of game checks. He may have earned the big contract back to start the 2013 season, but he's definitely a joke right now, new OC or not.

This team is predictable. Find a way to collapse or be completely lethargic for 3 1/2 quarters, then rip your heart out making it look like they have a chance, only to piss it away. They preach every week about improving and making less mistakes, yet here we are 4 years later and they continue to decline almost every single game. They cannot advance the ball to obtain a first down against the worst defenses in the league. If you have not noticed yet, Flacco is completely inept unless he is running the shotgun in a hurry up offense from down 6 to 14 points. Even that has been horrific this season. He is bailing out before pressure even reaches him, and is a liability to the receivers. I would have pulled him out if not after the first pic, after the second and named Mallet the starter for Pittsburgh. If they stick with Joe, this season is not going to get any better. Personally, if there is anyone foolish enough to take him off their hands before the trade deadline, they should jump at it and start looking for someone on the waiver wire who can be just as effective for 18 mil less a season.

We need to do a team rebuild. Problem is, we can't do a rebuild for about 4 years. We have too much dead money and cap issues to deal with. We should have had Ed Reed as a coach, any coach. but Harbs ego would not let that happen. I believe we are in this position for years to come.

Terrible game. Horribly officiated and horribly coached. Execution, discipline, and desire, gone... No run game, sloppy offensive play, ineffective defensive play... Thank goodness for Justin Tucker. Time to sell my tickets. I can't stand watching this continued collapse.

I have thought the same thing for years. Joe is now 27-27 since Super Bowl. Not playing Up to the contract. From 1st to last in 4 years. Sad

Other than Mel Kiper who always gives Ozzie high grades for the draft, who have we really drafted over the last seven years who have turned onto IMPACT players not just roster fillers? CJ Mosely-YES, Brandon Williams MAYBE, Jimmy Smith-OK to MAYBE, Yanda-YES, Stanley looking like a YES(Hopefully) and KO who took the Raiders money(which ALL players should do). Who else am I missing?

Mosley had a good rookie year and is a nice player but impact player? Yet to be determined. Everyone else you named outside of Yanda is average. Willams has yet to do anything. Jimmy Smith is constantly burned, never looks back for the ball and makes stupid penalties and cannot catch. Tucker is literally the only above average player acquired in 8 seasons. Suggs and Dumervile are now completely ineffective. Wallace has made some nice catches and has been a decent FA so far. Otherwise, none of them have really done much since Boldin. The front office is whiffing big time in all aspects of management of the roster. Finally they cant cover it up anymore.

I guess I bashed Harbaugh too much, for cliche 101. For not having the nerves to be a great coach to demand his OCs Run the dang ball..and stop playing Chuck&Duck every week.
I guess we the fans are making too much sense
We want "Our" Ravens back..Smashmouth Punch you in the face put the fear of god in the opponent defense Ravens back. Run the ball 35x a game, limit flacco to 30 throws Ravens back

Everyone said we overpaid Flacco...they were right. Hadn't seen a decent QB around here in a while, finally got a barely average one, got overexcited, and emptied the bank account on him.

There are a lot of underlying problems, To much money invested into Flacco, Below avg. draft classes, Sub par coaching. ads up to (6 -10) for many years , time to clean house and start over.. The only ones I would Keep would be , OZ & Decosta,( Oz out of respect, but Decosta should be Head of operations)

I watched the super bowl game the other day vs San Fran. The talent we had was unbelievable not just our obvious stars but guys like pollard Leach etc we are so far away from a playoff team its not even funny. Guys are old and explains why we always have these injuries. We have NO leadership and NO gamebreakers. Every week we hear the same stories of how they going to improve and change and cut down on stupid penalties but it gets worse week to week. We lost to many key players to other teams (which i understand, salary cap) but they never keep the right players and always pick up the trash players from other teams. We never had a legitimate number 1 reciever its always been guys we picked up from other teams when there careers are coming to a end. (Mason and SSS) great players dont get me wrong but we need a gamebreakers in thier youth. This team has to start over and start making smarter decisions. Secondary has been bad for years never been upgraded, recievers never been upgraded in the draft. STOP trading down all the time in the draft it has never worked. I rather have a solid 2nd rounder than 3 so so picks in the 4th and 5th round. We always get a good number of comp picks so i see no reason to trade down. We need youth speed and leaders, time to let all the veterans go and start over. ok done for now lol

A team rebuild isn't necessary. Harbaugh and his excellent coaching staff will fix this team over the bye and turn the season around. We can't lose faith. Go Ravens!!!

Everything fans saying&seeing correct.

Flacco playing poorly, overpaid, hurting teams depth

Harbaugh not a quality coach, not forcing his OC's to pull back the chuck&duck style of last 2 years, and reform it back to "Ravens Smashmouth Football" running 1st..30x a game

All we hear is cliches from cliche .com but no action

The offense is inept. Apart from the Gary Kubiak year, we've had failures and flunkies running the O for a few years now. Can't get quality people on the field, or can't get into a rhythm when they find quality players. Unbearable to watch.

On the bright side... the Steelers lost, so IF the Ravens can right the ship after the bye then there is hope :) GO RAVENS! CB 25

We are lucky to have the perfect Captain steering the ship in John Harbaugh. We just need patience!

We finally, finally, finally threw quick slants and Flacco couldn't even get that right. I been waiting for the quick slants since Marc Bulger was the backup and Flacco destroyed a beautiful thing. I may never see the quick slants for another 20 years in Baltimore, lord have mercy for Flacco knows not what a quick slant can do to a defense.

This team has a lot of problems, lets name them. #1 - the offensive line is in shambles. I believe Stanley has now missed 4 games (Ravens lost all 4), Yanda has missed games, and Wanger has missed games. The players that have not missed games have been terrible. #2 - Flacco has been terrible even when he has time, which is not often. There is no excuse for all the back foot throws. He needs to step up and take ownership of his poor play. #3 - When Flacco gets time and is not terrible, the offense either drops passes or doesn't get separation. They are really missing Steve Smith Sr. which details a whole other problem. When a team is missing a 37 year old receiver than the front office has not done their job. #4 - Pass rush or should I say the lack thereof. I really would not beat on the defense. They kept it close while spending a majority of the time on the field. I would be concerned about speed on defense. They look slow.

5 thoughts:

1. We are not very good right now! Good teams dont beat themselves with penalties - turnovers and dumb mistakes! We keep, repeatedly doing all three, over and over and that falls on Harbs and Harbs alone! We cannot beat out selves

2. Dean Pees is clueless. We have not been aggressive on that side of the ball since he arrived in BMORE and as a result... we blew another double digit lead. Many will say the defense kept us in it (and I accredit it to the Jets poor offense) but since Pees got here we have never been able to close a team out... we have never been a team able to win with defense- i watched the Cards v Seahawks game tonight and remembered when our defense looked fast, aggressive and nasty- but that was a long time ago! (since before Dean Pees)!

3. I am beginning to think that Jaun Castillo is clueless. Kubiacks system made Juan look good but our OL sucked before Kubs and since he left our OL has sucked. Penalties, poor play, etc they is what defines our unit and even with a make shift line we should be better. Urschel and Jensen have a ton of experience and Zuttah and Wagner has played at high levels. Ronnie Stanley is solid but we cannot seem to get anything out of OL... I know all of the injury excuses but we are supposed to be very deep in the OL... it has been anything but and I have to wonder what is going on bc they havent played well as a unit since Kubiack left

4. Why are we consistently more injured then nearly every other team in the NFL... it is not bad luck at this point. It is not coincidence at this point. IDK if players need to be held accountable, IDK if practice habits needs to be changed or if our Strength and Conditioning Coaches need to go? But something is seriously wrong here.

5. With all of the negative and I admit it is a lot. If we beat Pittsburgh coming off of the bye week we are sitting in 1st place in the division. We need to get better and get better quick but "IF" we can coaches guys up and make the necessary adjustments... this season is still not over. Our destiny is still in our own hands and not a lot of teams can say that 7 games into the season!

I'm done making excuses. Harbaugh is a good coach, but how good, I don't know. Our draft have been killing us for YEARS. And, Flacco Sucks! I think our team might of have a better start to the year with Blaine Gabbert. Big time problems right now for the Baltimore Ravens

Ravens look like they suck as a whole right now. Sad part is if we had any QB play this year, we could be 7-0...............But Joe really looks like the worst QB in the league this year. Can't believe I'm saying and think that, but I really think it's true. Big time bummer, and I have a feeling the Ravens aren't gonna do anything about it

He can only do so much with what's been provided him. Even the great ones have to have the horses and the FO has failed to deliver in that dept.

I agree with you for the most part. However, this "[we] always pick up the trash players from other teams" is not correct at all. The guys you pointed out from our SB team, Pollard and Leach, were both pickups from other teams. This year Weddle has been a solid pickup. SSS was everything but trash.

But you are right in everything else. I especially hate to see how our FO lets young franchise players walk. Not signing McPhee, Ellerbee etc WAS the right move, but not signing KO was huge mistake and it's painfully obvious this year. Flacco is not worth even half the money he is making, but he would be tolerable if he would be getting some time to step into his throws. Instead, he's getting hit and getting injured, which makes him literally flop on plays and just toss the ball randomly away in fright.

If we would have kept KO, we could have cut Flacco and been off better than where we are now. And yeah I know, I know, then we would not have been able to bring in some FAs we did, but then again, we would have been able to draft someone else than Stanley in the 1st to other positions that we had to fill via FA.

Long story short, there has been some very very poor roster management by the front office in the past couple of years. Sure, some things like injuries can't be predicted and FO can't make players perform better, but bottom line is, that the decisions by our FO have not paid off and have led us into a deep whole, from where it'll take several seasons to climb out of.
