Those three drives that led us to 3 field-goals were outstanding.
I am looking forward to so much more of that.
Dear Ravens Brass:
I wonder what is more important- continued losing- while looking horrible or a quarterback controversy.

Joe Flacco is killing this team! I'm sorry but it is what it is! Sincerely The Troll

flacco sucks but so does the front office, o-line, secondary and dean pees. poor drafts are the biggest issue

it's like he parlayed a few games of consistantly into a pretty nice deal and he's trying to take that into retirment on his own little island paid for by BISCOTTI and the RAVENS fans,am i right??

It's the O-line. Joe was hit on seven straight plays. The center repeatedly lets defenders hit Joe stratight off the snap, and or steps on his foot straight off the snap. There is no blocking for the run game unless they are holding.

The refs didn't do us any favors but they pretty consistently didn't call any pass interference. They also let players get hit out of bounds.

Joe had a bad day, but it wasn't his fault either. He didn't call for another 50 pass plays and abandon the run. He also wasn't evaluated for a concussion when he should have been. I am pretty sure it was before the second pick.

Feel sorry for Harbaugh. Too many injuries and things just aren't going our way. Bad draw of the card started with Mosley touchback. You can't coach your way out of what has been happening to us. Really miss Ray Lewis and Ed reed

Absolutely embarrassing . No passion. No coaching. No players. I'm done with the NFL this year and maybe forever. Bad product on the field all the way around. Just my 2 cents.

Aaron Rodgers looks the same way Joe looks when he gets half as much as Joe.

I agree!

Of course, we lost games with Ray and Ed on the field so that is not what is meant.  Nothing can replace the type and quality of leadership and confidence those 2 men brought to this organization for so many years and you can't just easily replace that as some may have thought.  This present Ravens team don't have it whatsoever.  And that...is sad to see!

My five thoughts are opinions on how to fix this team

1. Enough of this ‘Analytics’ and quantity approach to drafting players. It’s not working. Pick the best player available even if it means giving up some picks. DeCosta has been very influential in the past draft. These poor draft are on him and OZ. I don’t think it’s as simple as replace OZ with DeCosta.

OZ tends to rely on old cast off to carry the team. That is not a formula for sustained success. He also, blows up a Super bowl roster

You don’t fire OZ, but he needs to take a lesser role in personnel. They need fresh insight and better scouts

2. Fire Castillo. The offensive line has been terrible since he got here. The one exception was the Kubiak year. That unit has been terrible. The style of linemen is embarrassing.

3. Get back to smash mouth football as your bread and butter identity. Recall the pieces and style your Super bowl teams had and get those type of players. They have some of the pieces but the style of play is bad

a. A bruising FB to help get short yards
b. Run first offense with big plays off play action
c. Bullies on offensive and defense lines. (Run the ball, Stop the run, get to the QB)
d. Speed at Wr
e. Good return guy
f. Hard hitters up the middle of the defense (DT, ILB, SS)

4. Fire Harbs. The players are obviously not buying into his rants. In fact, he lost the team in the Super bowl year. Only Lewis returning got the team back focused.

They need an X and Os coach that can make adjustments in game and not a guy that is at the mercy of his coordinators because he can’t step in and call plays. Also, they need a guy that can get a staff to develop these young players.

5. They might want to try a former Raven to be on the coaching staff as an assistant. I was very disappointed that they did not reach out to Reed to coach.

They need a Raven player that’s been there and done that to teach, evaluate and coach up guys. An most importantly, someone they will respect and listen to.

Not saying they can get a Ray Lewis. But a Jarret Johnson, Bart Scott, McCray, Starks, Boulware, etc.. to help really teach these guy what it means to ‘Play like a Raven’.

This team is in a swoon and I don't see them coming out of it any time soon. We have no playmakers. There is plenty of blame to go around and I think everyone has already made the salient points. I'm not really impressed by the entire NFL product this year. Too many injuries, too few good teams.

Ever wonder why this particular DC hasn't received a head coaching call? It's because the game has passed him by. His 3-4 scheme, poor game planning and inability to adjust has done him in.

And the Ravens.

Wholesale coaching changes are in store at the conclusion of this season.

I agree Militant. You can not replace a Lewis or Reed. Name a player since Suggs that we drafted that is close to a hall of fame type of player? None. The cabinet is bare as Suggs and Doom are on the wrong side of 30. Where is the leadership? Where is the heart?

Surfdude, signing Flacco to that extension was a mistake and has handicapped the franchise for the next four to five years.
