We did abandon it a bit too early this time, but sticking to the run when it's not producing isn't always the answer either. Trying to continually establish the run can easily lead to only having three points in the third quarter and still running for two yards a carry.

Agreed.  I think you need more than 12 total carries to try to establish the run, but once it's clear it's not working, you have to start looking in the opposite direction.  Think we declared that a bit too early today.

The Ravens have TOO many under developed players Not enough Veteran Players.

By the way.  We are the most penalized team in the league.

I have not seen a Ravens defensive player lay out a receiver since 2012. Today was like watching a nitting class on how to love yarn. No offense to the nitting world, but you now have some legit competition in the Ravens defense.

Didn't help West had a 50 yard run that was negated by a penalty... Too many penalties... Too many injuries... Let's hope the bye week is what we need. 2 weeks to get the veterans healthy. But it will not be easy now the team can only lose 2 games in the last 9 or they will most likely miss the playoffs.

People have to realize a part of coaching is developing and teaching players fundamentals and technique.

People go on and on about drafting, rarely get into how few talented players are developed.  We never develop WRs that run crisp routes, what type of tackling fundamentals are displayed weekly ?

I've said this for years.

The lack of game changing talent on this team is really starting to show, and that's a serious problem.  As you said though, it's hard to pinpoint where the blame lies.  All we know is the drafting has been subpar and our FA record has been spotty at best as well.

I think at this point the blame for that is squarely on FO / scouting. We haven't adapted well to the changing game. Too slow on both sides of the ball. Holding on for too long on some guys (Webb, Zutah, McClellan, Camp, Jensen, looks like Urschel isn't anything to write home about too) and not doing enough to retain players that we managed to turn into seriously good pros after drafting them.

Could have coaches done more? Possibly but I can't see any coach in the league making ZDS or Correa into NFL pass rusher, S. Wright or K. Lewis playmaker in the secondary. I blame coaching on poor discipline though.

Injuries? Who knows but that could partly be on coaching and the way we prepare. It sure isn't the turf.

It is so easy to blame the players for a bad game. I want to point out that most of the blame needs to go to the head coach and the coordinators. After all they call the game.

Do they watch tape of offensive teams that move the ball up and down the field that score routinely. Are they watching film of secondary's that shut down playmakers. are they trying new things, maybe use something from other teams that get results. If they aren't because of the way players play, well it's time to get new coaches or change players.

crazy to think if we could tackle and not be the most penalized team in the NFL we are probably 5-2/6-1 with flaccos 5td 6 int ratio

Missed the game. Can anyone breakdown Judon overall?  Not just stats, thanks.

Judon made the worst play of the game by sacking Geno and knocking him out of the game . Sad .

Why did Forsett Leave or was he run off?

He brought nothing to the team that any one of our other RBs didn't.

Somebody really needs to start questioning and take look at the front office and whoever is running the Ravens conditioning program. Two seasons in a row now and the team can't keep players on the field.

Also in the past few years the Ravens have yet to develop talent to replace veteran players. Suggs should not have the most sacks on the team LMAO.

LMAO,,, Time to just accept that we are a bad team and Harb's is just accepting it as he knows he has Steve B fooled that we only need to get "healthy". Even if we get healthy we cannot play against middle to top tier teams. Flacco is awful this year and if our roster is always just one hurt player away from a collapse then something needs to be done to bring in better coach's to teach the back ups and or get better talent here. It has been obvious for years that this team has an awful eye for offensive talent.

I wish Steve would grow a pair and make Harb's feel some heat in order to do something constructive instead of staying status quo. Look where it has gotten us the last 2 seasons. Other teams survive injuries. We are the new Browns in our division.

Anyone else surprised by the amount of playing time Taliaferro got? I personally was excited to see what Dixon has to offer, but he obviously has not done much in his limited reps.  Hopefully it's a case of the staff really liking Taliaferro and not Dixon playing poorly.

Ya there's no way Harbaugh believes all the BS he's spewing out about how we're beating ourselves with unnecessary holding penalties or CB's just having their eyes in the wrong places, etc. A lot of the guys on the field just aren't good enough. It's why it's the same problems every single week.

We did beat ourselves. Thats pretty obvious. Every single week theres one or two self inflicted  mistakes that change the entire momentum of the game as soon as we get a chance to put a team away. I.E Mosley fumble out the endzone for touchback. West negated run on penalty with chance to go up 17-0. Jernigan fumble at crucial point in game costing us 7. Its us vs. Us every week .

Tough to be the new Browns when the real Browns are 0-7.

O no. Two whole seasons of losing? O no. Lets lead a mutiny against the owner too... two WHOLE seasons. O no.

SMH. Look around the league sometimes folks. You might learn something.

We have had the same issues plaguing us for several years..penalties, tackling, getting separation, clock management, and the list goes on. We are the second most penalized team this year. Where is the structure and discipline Harbs preaches soo much about?? I understand the players play (Duuhhhhh) but when the same issues keep popping up game after game then that is definitely on the coaching. If they are practicing fundamentals in practice it is really hard to believe it doesn't translate on the field. Or do we have a squad of bunch of idiots........ If employees keep underperforming it is definitely on the Boss to get better employees or get fired.

No pre snap movement.  Other teams know what we are running before the snap and there is nothing being done about it.

We have to run basic formations for our basic QB and young receivers.

Time for Ozzie to retire after some horrible drafts over several years , Harbaugh to get fired after dumb decisions that cost us two games this year and Flacco's contract to be renegotiated to allow us better players in free agency .

If Flacco won't do that , release him and start over . I never thought I would say that !! Ever .
