If we're gonna have another down year I want at least one win against the Bengals and Steelers.

If we're not there yet we're not there yet, still lacking playmakers, it is what it is. What you don't do is get rid of your franchise QB and head coach who still are among the top 3 tandems since 2008.

Or just fire everyone and start over to compete with Hue Jackson....

For those interested, here are the updates from Zrebiec regarding players practicing today/this week...

Jeff ZrebiecVerified account‏@jeffzrebiecsun

Terrell Suggs (biceps) and Marshal Yanda (shoulder) both practicing for Ravens during first bye week practice.

Elam would be eligible to play in Nov.10 game against Browns. He can practice until then. He'll be one guy brought back from IR.

Not practicing: Terrance West, Steve Smith, Aiken, Devin Hester, Dennis Pitta, Lardarius Webb, Shareece Wright, McClellan, Mosley, Dumervil

It's bye week, but best sign for Ravens is their entire starting OL on field. They have a lot of issues but fixing OL has to be priority.

Now that Suggs and Yanda are back at practice, maybe it's time for "Next Up - Steelers at The Bank" thread? Finally something we can look forward to.

Don't they have any players on IR that have shown a glimmer of potential at some point in their career?

At least the secondary is an area of need... of course, there are several of those.

I hope they really focus on the o-line during the bye. That could ameliorate the run game, give Joe more time, and keep the other team off the field.

As long as we have Harbaugh and Ozzie newsome we have lost.

I agree, I wish we didn't have 2 Super Bowls

No doubt. They've got something to prove, will be rested and mended.

I want Timmy not to follow through on his press conference, pick one up and take it to the house.

No question. I wouldn't want to be squealers coming to the bank 11/6.

???? I'm sure every team in the NFL would be fearful of coming to play a team that went the whole month of October without winning a game.... /sarcasm

I honestly think Pees uses too many vanilla blitzes during non-divisional games just so he doesn't tip his hand before playing the Steelers. He always seems to save his best for the Steelers, perhaps to the detriment of all other non-divisional games.

Practice updates and quotes from Zrebiec:

Jeff ZrebiecVerified account‏@jeffzrebiecsun

11 Ravens not practicing in final workout before bye: Wallace, Hester, Smith Sr, West, Pitta, Webb, Wright, McClellan, Mosley, Doom, Correa

Harbaugh said he expects just about all team's injured guys to be back for Steelers' game.

Flacco: "I'm obviously not playing well enough. We're not a good offense right now and that starts with the quarterback."

Harbaugh vehemently defended Joe Flacco today, says team needs to give him more help and "give him a chance."

Ok guys/gals let me know when you want the Next Up Steelers thread up.

I saw a snippet of a Flacco interview on WBAL tonite where he takes responsibility and said it a little thing here or there then it gets out of hand.  That coupled with the injuries could make bad things happen I believe.  I hope his shoulder was just fatigue and not getting the crap beat out of him.  I remember two back to back weeks when he gave is post game with a bloody mouth.

Dang West Wallace and pitta too!? Probably just minor stuff but give us a break!  We need west for the Pittsburgh game to exploit their weak run defense. Esp if our o line will be back intact.

Awesome to see suggs power through..no way was he gonna miss the Pittsburgh game unless he physically couldn't stand. That's heart. He's the last one left from the era of players who really embodied the phrase "play like a raven" ...I wonder if Ben will play as well..if  he does it could be a mistake coming back too soon, if he reaggravates something it could jeopardize their entire season.  Anything can happen which is why we gotta just keep digging. Lotta football left to play.

If we get suggs and Steve's  back along with our offensive iine we can hang with any team in this league. Things look bleak right now but the north is still up for grabs.

update on forsett over in Detroit: still hasn't rushed for over 40 yards I don't believe. Not gettin many touches either. Looks like he wasn't a scapegoat after all. I'm thinking that he may end up regretting his decision to bail on us just for being inactive after not producing. He could've played his way back into the starting position or atleast saw more playing time for his pass blocking alone. I guess we will see how things pan out.

when is campanaro eligible to be resigned? If Hester doesn't step it up soon and keeps making mistakes I don't see him on the roster much longer. He just doesn't have it anymore. And atleast camp  would give us something on offense in the slot position.

I think next week when the practices start back up would be a good time to open up the Next Up Steelers thread, as that is when we will start to get updates on injuries to Ravens and Steelers players and practice updates.

I feel we can open it now since we are already over half way through the bye week With players off the other threads will start winding down. I say go ahead and pin it.

Gonna be long season for us fans if we played like that against the Jets....

If our healthy guys are back next week and we still suck, it is a panic button, starting from the coaches.....

Wouldn't be surprised if we lost to the bye week.

Some of you "fans" are reaching Browns level of sorryness.
