This is a thread to support our rookie quarterback Joe Flacco. Just thought it would be a good idea but I think he is a great guy and great player on and off the field go ravens! he is so underated like the rest of our team!

What the hell was that all about, Matt Ryan?!

Matt Ryan wound up throwing a pick, and losing a fumble that was returned for a TD in his playoff opener, Flacco has gone on to win two more games.

Joe did not get ROY because he had a slow start, was a clipboard holder and missed the #1 reps in training came. He also rushed to 2 TD's himself before passing for them.
I think Baltimore fans have become so used to less then mediocre play or erratic play at QB that the rest of the NFL can not understand why we so excited in September though they can see it now. I loved listening to the announcers against Dallas and the playoff game against the Titans--they were in shock at how well Joe threw the ball, of course we all knew he could.

I remember seeing Flacco develope as a leader in his high school days. His h.s. team would give up 50+ at times. He would put up 30+ with one reciever and no running game against some of South Jersey's best teams.
At an Eagles draft party, when he was selected. Those in the know knew he would have some success at the Pro level. Good to see a local guy make it.
The best Super Bowl story in Philly would be Flacco vs. Eagles. Maybe both can get there.

NOOOO way, dont get me wrong i think flacco is doing great, but he is so OVERRATED by baltimore fans. Hes like our Ben Roethlisberger, or however u spell it, hes tough, has great poise and gets the job done. And despite the fact that BEN won a super bowl, i wouldnt call him great, and i wont call flacco GREAT. Just good.
