Yep. And I gladly took those 2 and the Ravens, online for $250!

Oh contrare. It has just begun. Please stop the pessimistic attitude. It is not the end of the world or season for that fact. I guess you'll think I've lost my mind but i believe we can turn things around. Is that so bad? Go Ravens.

Hope you're a winner my friend. And the Ravens too!

I'm with you but the young blood like KC have got to start contributing.
The next two games are pivotal to our season and what direction we will be heading.

need to win this game sunday and the jets will be ready. geno may provide a spark for them. we should use aiken as a rb since it has worked for the packers the past 2 games. need to get him involved and this may be a way to do so since dixon has looked awful in his few carries. flacco returned to practice so he will start but i would have a short leash on him if his shoulder keeps him from being effective and put in mallett so flacco can heal over the bye. the team has to take advantage of the steelers being without ben and the bengals struggling. this is the time to make a move.

Good article. Yeah I can just imagine how rough it is when losing facing the media's questions. It's also nice to see it from all angles...the reporters, the players, the go-betweens, the coaches.

I suppose I can see it from Cam's side after you explain it that way. Still, he should work on that he's got to be the worst on that. But at least he dressed up nice lol, his clothes spoke for him.

Those videos are cute...I like the teams approach to bring humor into the mix. "What do I do with my hands?" ?

Let us real raven fans go through what we are going through... We'll be ok! Its tough to deal with but its not as bad as 5-11 aka the KYLE "should've been a Boller" era

we will continue to lose.. this isn't something that has happened overnight. per another thread:

Poor draft classes and an inability to retain the players that do pan out stack up and eventually this is what you get.. a team devoid of playmakers. From 2008-2012 there are only 4 players out of 39 picks still on the team from 5 draft classes. 0 of those players are from 2012 only 4 years ago. Of the classes that should still be on their initial rookie deal Only 4 of 10 rookies from 2013 are still on the team, 2014 we hit on 2 picks and got two decent backups, and 2015, only a year removed, we have a grand total of 2 players that see the field Perriman (barely) and zadarius smith. Even this year it's looking like our 2nd and 3rd rounders are headed for bustville though I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

Y'all can trust ozzie all you want and guzzle that kool-aid but the fact of the matter is our draft history since 2008 doesn't lie. It's sub-par for just about any team let alone one that always took pride in strong drafting, heck we pretty much have two GMs we should be able to do better than what we have

Also With all these offensive line issues it sure would be nice i we had ponied up the guaranteed money for Jake Long, not good enough for us but good enough to step in for the 5-0 vikings!

Losing 3 straight in football is nothing like losing 30 straight in baseball. I get the analogy (a football season is roughly 10% of the games of a baseball season), but if you win like 60% of your games in baseball you are one of the best teams in the league.

you hit the nail on the head with your post. nice research. a lot of us here have said the front office has dropped the ball these past few drafts. i would pkg picks to move up and grab play makers or trade our 1st 2nd or 3rd rd picks for proven players that a rebuilding team may want to unload. kc and maxx(ir) need to start producing or that will be 3 2nd rd busts drafted in recent years. time to blame the front office/scouting dept. for the lack of talent and game changers on the roster. they have let too many players leave to free agency that were becoming studs in this system, a system that worked for them. hope we pull this win out sunday. go ravens!!

Kevin, this was a great, heartfelt, insightful article. Loved the Starks anecdote, even champions can be vulnerable and falter. Thank you for keeping us in the loop and humbled enough to see the bigger picture.

these are coaches that must be upgraded. juan castillo(aside from the year kubs was here running the line the oline has struggled under castillo. bobby engram(dropped passes, lack of seperation and routes that are not crisp has plagued this team long before engram but he has not improved the group., dean pees(no creativity)poor in game adjustments and we all know the rest. lesliie frazier(in season option)pagano, gus bradley, marvin lewis are off season options for dc.

Agree with most everything you said with the exception of those who were becoming studs. Other than KO all the rest were a JAG. JUST ANOTHER GUY. Plenty of JAGS in the NFL already.

IF we lose to a Jets team lead by Gino Smith I will feel worse than any time last season. And last season was rock bottom.

i may not like trump at all but he is right about media being the lowest of all.

I agree but with what we have on the other side Trump it is for me. The media has become a joke not worth talking too.

I always respected M. Lynch's perspective:-)

My interest has declined as well. Penalty on just about every play, can't touch WR's/PI calls out of hand, and the best for last, admitting that I'm Old School, the two "Ravens Fans"(?) wearing their jersey's but high fiving and hugging when Crabtree scored the winning TD in the Raiders game. Why? Because they had him on their fantasy team.

Thanks for this article Kevin. The PR job and perspective behind the scenes is as important from a "wholeness" of the organization angle as the rest of the folks who comprise our team, often referred to as family. Visibility and transparency are important to the us, the fans. And in my humble opinion, an athlete who doesn't get upset about a loss hasn't learned some of life's ( and sports') valuable lessons, starting with an awareness for the setback of the team, and humility...
