Week 7 - Baltimore Ravens at New York Jets

Tough loss, plenty of blame to go around, but for me the biggest losers are the Raven's LB and OL.

On offense when you go max protect and DEs are still landing in your QBs lap before he even finisher your drop, even Brady is going to look like hot garbage. Plus we couldn't run and we don't have the receivers to dink and dunk. We DESPERATELY need a YAC monster with good hands, and it just doesn't exist on this team right now.

As for the Raven's D those big run plays were as uncharacteristic as they were devastating. I think the LBs and S took turns blowing assignments, there's a lot of young guys and a lot of shuffle going on back there.

the team sux overall i guarantee if the oline was great flacco would be doing good he always is when we have the line doing good our oline is so horrible even when stanley was in the 1st 3 games we did nothing in the 2nd half of those games.

I won't argue that they played well or anything, but it's another 1 score game. They never roll over, not even after being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

Agree. So what happened this game? The penalties cost them dearly. And the fumble. And until they learn how to score on offense...TDs, it won't matter (these close games) because need those 7points. But, have to say I still see them fighting. I'm not sure why they won't play Stanley but yet they practice him?? I think they need him badly. Good it's a bye week. They really, really need it. I'm not giving up on them, and I don't see them giving up on themselves...but they are their own worst enemy in certain ways. Like West had it almost at the goal, and they committed a penalty that play.

I do not understand that at all. I'm almost hoping he had a setback with his injury, because otherwise they made an insane decision to play an injured quarterback behind a swish cheese line. And honestly, I'm thinking the coaches probably chose not to "disrupt the new chemistry" or some mess like that.

I'm afraid I can't say that I haven't given up. This season is over.

I'm kind of wondering if foot-injury = turf-toe and they're trying to avoid naming it to panic the fans. The only reason I can think they would hold him back so long is if the issue is something they are worried could become chronic and career ending.

Man, I hadn't even thought of that. But I still have to wonder why he could practice on an injury like that, but not play. It seems like they probably chose not to play him.

Yeah, that's the only logical explanation because it sure looked like they should have rested him. He had a better first half, but if he has injury, the longer he's in the game and getting hit, it takes a toll. I think that's what happened here.

Nobody like #52 or #20 to teach the next man up how to play, if you believe Ray Lewis he said in his book coaches ran the practice players controlled the game

But Jernigan fumbled...  the defense cost us this.

So tired of our defense not being able to get touchdowns.

Strongly quote worthy.

Seems like playing without Suggs and SSSR this team has no heart. I guess that makes sense if Flacco is the leader when they aren't playing.

One day well be good again.

Probably not until 2020, when there's first time a chance we can cut Flacco.

Funny, cause I'm so tired of our offense (read Flacco) not being able to get touchdowns. Considering it's their primary task. If we are counting on our D to score TDs, it shows you how messed up our offense really is.
