So when flacco is underthrowing to Mike Wallace yesterday and did the same exact thing week before vs. giants at endzone.   it was the oline fault.

No, flacco's mechanic is complete garbage.   His oline was bad, but you don't go 42 yards @ 2nd half b/c you 'have a bad oline'  Plenty of QBs out there in the league far worse than ours and they make it work.   Flacco is one of the QBs that needs everything around him (the system, the OC, QB coach, WRs, oline) basically pamper him to put up mediocre stats.

Flacco got paid, and he needs to do his part of the bargain.  So far, he is trent edwards times two.   Faster we draft a new QB and groom him, the faster we get rid of Flacco and his apologist out of this organization.

Both Flacco and his worshippers can enjoy blaming everything but him  anywhere else is fine by me!

Yes flacco needs to improve but he is not meant to throw the ball 35+  per game! He's just not that type of qb. We have the most passing attempts in the league for cryin out loud. Flacco does his best when the running game is actually working and when we have an actual balanced attack. Look back to 2008-2012 when we were actually winning and look at the numbers. Look at how many times we won vs how many times we lost when flacco threw the ball less than 30 times. Its obvious. No Joe is not going to set the world on fire. But if the running game is humming he is a qb that will absolutely slice and dice you with the play action. We need to get back to ravens football. We've got the defense back , now we just need to get back to ground and pound. I thought Marty would've learned something from trestmans mistakes but evidentally not , atleast not yet.

Trade with Cleveland for Jonny Manziel and a draft pick.

Joe cannot win us games by throwing 45 times a game period. We need to come up with a better winning strategy. My personal opinion is we need to figure out a way to put points on the board without relying fully on Flacco. So, it means we need to run the ball more times than we pass, no matter what the initial run carry average is. By letting Flacco fling the ball around isn't helping us win games. In fact an argument can be made that it lost us a couple of these games. So, I blame the game plan and coaching because they have the responsibility to use players to their strengths and having Joe throw as many times isn't smart.

Why is a thread discussing that Flacco didn't practice last week still receiving hits when the discussion has nothing to do with him not practicing last week and is now once again discussing why he should or shouldn't be on this team? Don't we have a thread already dedicated to that sorta with the "5 QB you want more than Flacco" or whatever it's called? I don't get it.

Another Scapegoat to fire when Flacco is doing a poor job.

Joe Flacco is not playing great so far but the constant offensive coordinator changes, the offensive line not holding up in pass protection and his receivers dropping balls don't help. Flacco hasn't even had a consistent quarterback coach either. i can't even think of the last time he had quarterback coach that last longer than two years.

No doubt but considering the penalties its hard to run on 2nd and 25 on each series

I say do it regardless, because at least that way it'll force the other team to defend the run on every play. Only then can our receivers separate and can Joe find them on short to intermediate routes. Otherwise, its going to be the same old story of giving the ball away at critical junctures and losing games with 10 point leads in the first quarter.

Because it morphed.  As long as it's sort of related, we might as well go with it.

2nd and long is majority of the time a pass play.

3rd and ridiculously long usually is a run play .

either failed execution on 1st down or dumb butt penalties on any dumb has us in those positions to many times....

What year does it become feasible, cap-wise to entertain a trade?

2019 is the earliest, he will still have $16 million in dead money and save $10.5 million in cap space.

come to think of it, I have grown use to watching Flacco be in a 2 and 20 over the last couple of games, dump it off 4-6 yards out for a no gain.....what is going on with this offense? Flacco is missing throws, he's constantly back peddling from the pocket because they can not protect him, and CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY ON A 3rd and 9 I BELIEVE EVERYBODY WENT DEEP? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT NONE OF OUR GUYS GET OPEN???

He can't step into throws, can't extend plays, poor pocket awarness, stevie-wonder-reads. This shouldn't be problems for a 9 year vet. He's at his best around 30 throws a game. You can actually win a game with those numbers, even Brady only threw 26 times yesterday. But I hope we draft a QB in the 2018 draft.

hahahaha.......Go find me another team that has had 6 yards rushing in a game.  I'll be waiting.

Flacco schmacko.  Give it up sport, there's a lot worse wrong with this team than Joe Flacco having some bad games. And as many people have tried to explain to you Flacco is the QB of this team for at least another 3 years, so if you feel that strongly about him being replaced maybe you should just find a new team to back.
