Jimmy Smith doesn't get many interceptions because quarterbacks avoid his direction. Jimmy Smith is definitely up there. Marcus Peters gets interceptions but he gets beat consistently. He had 1000 yards against him last season as a rookie when people considered him the best. 1000 yards doesn't sound like shutdown to me. Mosley and Weddle are top 5 at their positions how are they not playmakers? You also have a hall of fame wide receiver who makes plays even though he is 37 years old. Before his ankle injury he was lighting it up after his injury for two games. He was on pace for 1500 yards last season before the injury and at the time only Keenan Allen matched his production through those first 8 or so weeks and he was out a game with broken ribs.

We have playmakers just because there are better players around the league doesn't mean we don't have playmakers. We also have one of the best kickers in the league. But keep pretending like we don't. The Ravens problem is not their players it is their coaching choices. There has been a trend for the last two seasons. It is called the team sitting on a lead and not playing aggressive to put a team out of the game and lets the other team crawl back into the game. Then we are always coming back from a deficit at the end. The Ravens on offense need to be more aggressive ALL game not just until they get a lead. The defense needs to make adjustments when their best players are injured to not have a rookie that is a 5'9 on one of the most athletic receivers in the league by himself.
