Man I hope Jalen Tabor falls to us. We need some swagger in the secondary.

No thanks. He's been suspended multiple times. Might've turned out well for Peters but I wouldn't bet on Tabor. I'm even cautious of Tim Williams.

Wasn't Teez suspended because of an altercation with a teammate at practice? How many times has Steve Smith gotten into it with teammates? We don't need soft beta's.

There's a difference between soft and stupid. Multiple suspensions might be a sign of an underlying issue.

So he gets suspended for fighting a teammate at practice and refusing to take a drug test (probably from marijuana) and now he's stupid. Multiple players from our very own team have been suspended recently and in the past. Because of that, you don't want them back? We can't have a team full of angels. We aren't the London Silly Nannies (pre sterioud injection from Peter).

As soon as we draft him and he gets suspended repeatedly half of this forum, and maybe you, will be crapping on Ozzie for drafting him.

Sidney Jones is a better corner though.

No he's not

Have you seen the film? Sidney Jones is practically flawless, he is the cleanest most silky smooth cover corner I've seen in a very long time and a very scheme diverse one as well, the way he reroutes receivers by simple positioning and stays glued to his man while keeping his eye on the qb at all times is incredible. tabor May not even be the best corner on his team.

In just about every way.

Seriously. Tabor just has that SEC hype. He's possibly the most overrated player in this class.

There's a good chance he could. Stacked secondary class.

I'd be surprised if Jones doesn't continue his meteoric rise.

I believe this team is at a seasonal cross-roads right now, heading into a division heavy part of the schedule. They are fortunate to be in a playoff hunt and need to take control of their destiny, first by dispatching with the Bengals from the picture and making this a clear, 2 team race for the division. If we can take out PIT on Xmas, then we have a real shot at the division. Pittsburgh has an easier schedule, so that will be a part of the challenge.

If we are to make such a run, we will need to have almost everything go our way. One of those things we need going our way is having a healthy and effective Jimmy Smith on the field. This injury is worrisome. We only have a chance of surviving this weekend because of Green's absence. After this week, we need him back or we're going to have problems.

ahh this classic blame scenario. i have these 2 brothers in my class, ones a skins fan the others a cowboys fan, somehow... and they both cite this repeatedly in every football conversation we have.

the sad thing is... these guys seem to be pretty knowledgeable about football, until its time to discuss the ravens lol

The saddest thing about the Jimmy Smith situation (questionable) is that if he plays this Sunday and completely shouts-down his receiver some folks here will be saying, "We'll A.J. Green wasn't playing so who cares.".

When, " Smith has negated some of the best receivers in the NFL, including A.J. Green and Antonio Brown..." - Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer.

If he doesn't play and we lose in the secondary the same crew will be saying, "It's all because Jimmy didn't play or Jimmy wouldn't have made a difference or we should replace him and/or the entire FO...".

Jimmy Smith doesn't stand a chance with some of us. Just get well JS.

Over the course of the last 9 games only 20 passes thrown Smith’s way have been completed while opposing QB’s have struggled to the tune of a 68.5 passer rating. Comparatively speaking Darrelle Revis and Richard Sherman when targeted this season have yielded 65.1 and 66.1 passer ratings respectively.

I'm glad we took Jimmy out early. No need to risk further injury.

Need him next Monday for sure.
