Merged...Positive Perspective for 2017

Elam being back should at the very least add some more speed to the secondary. Interested in seeing who he takes snaps from, Webb or Levine. I'm excited to see if Elam can turn things around. How much better would that 2013 draft look if Elam can earn a 1yr prove it contract and develop playing next to Weddle?

Harbs challenged Perriman to step up and i'm interesting in seeing what he does. I think that guy is a stud and once everything clicks watch out.

Also I wanna see Waller and Dixon have a bigger role on offense. I think Waller's size and speed is a matchup nightmare that isn't being utilized right now and Dixon is crazy in space. Let's get the oline right and open this offense. The Steelers D isn't that good and I have a gut feeling we'll see a repeat of that 2011 game where the Ravens jump on the Steelers early and steam rolled to a 35-7 win.

In case we need to be reminded. Ravens dominate Steelers

Okay here is some positive.  ( CNN would be impressed with the spin I am putting on this )

I know the Ravens often "play down" to their opponents.  There is no way on Gods green earth we are the only team that plays down to their opponents.
I am thinking for the next few weeks at least, there is a good chance our opponents will play down to us.  Making our job just that much easier. :)

Yeah, I know.
I am sorry.

Honestly i believe the issue is the play-calling.  BP has 34 targets on the season (SSr has 40, Wallace 60).   I just think better plays need to be drawn up for him and while SSr is out is the time to get him more involved.  He is a deep threat obviously, so he needs to see some deep throws and some screens like DT and Manning used to pull all the time.  I think he just isnt being put in a situation to strive, not shocking being in Baltimore.

I've matured on Perriman, we need to give him time to work it out.

I mean...he's basically a rookie at this point. I had no expectations of him this season. I hope he continues seeing snaps (same for Moore) because he needs every single one.

Mike Tomlin is one of the worst at playing down to the opponent's level, and we play them next, so... I guess maybe we'll each play down to each other's levels? I guess that's why our games are always so close lol.

Fire's banked, liquor cabinet's re-stocked, it's been pouring rain here for two straight weeks. Viva la Revolucion!!!

Big Ben's return could be rocky ride

Perhaps the Ravens shouldn't care if Ben Roethlisberger starts this week. Per ESPN Stats & Info, Big Ben's effectiveness has dropped severely in his first game back from injury throughout his career.

For the stat geeks out there, here's some positive news, assuming Ben plays.

The facts are how many time our defense got smoked by nobody QB or some sorry butt back up QB? numbers of times

But we are always competitive against big name QB.

My record is pretty good.  The Ravens have won way more home games that I've attended than they've lost. 3 losses in all!

I didn't attend any games last season...glad I didn't cause it was horrible!  And this season they lost to the Raiders when I went to that game.  So, here we go again!  But, win or lose, I always enjoy the experience of being at M&T Bank Stadium with thousands of other Ravens fans watching our boys play LIVE and in living color. But...THEY BETTER BEAT THE STEELERS! :D

LOL!  I hear you!  But, who was held responsible for their loss against the Redskins at home?  A game that I didn't attend? :D

O-line is going to be healthier, I think we can start to see now some more consistent protection back like we saw the first couple of weeks. the difference will be the play calling and WR's stepping up and making those big plays..

I'm talking to you Perriman and Moore.....I am still rooting for you guys even if it means I sound like a homer....

Marlon Brown :(

Pfft! That was Washington. This....This is the Steelers. Someone must be held accountable.

Now we might, just might mind you, give you a wee bit of credit if we win. Maybe. Probably not. But, perhaps. ;)

Yea that's what i'm excited about. With this oline fully in tact, hopefully they play well enough and Flacco has time. I'd love to see, Perriman, Moore, Dixon and Waller all have big plays.

I would love to see Flacco with alittle more time back there and all his guys healthy. Maxx and Camp included.

Good point. Unfortunately, this can't happen this year because Maxx is on IR and we used out designate to return status on Elam. But a healthy oline can obly help. Camp has shown flashes in the limited time he has been healthy

The Zach Orr and CJ Mosely combo might be the second best LBer tandem in the league, second only to Kuelchy and Davis.

And they sure got a big test in limiting Bell in the passing game.
