Nfl's Most Underrated Players/teams

2 posts in this topic

Well I figure if we're going to discuss all the over-hyped players of the league, why not start one about the ones they over-shadow?

I'll start off with our very own Kelly Gregg, who only recently is receiving some credit for his ability. Even so, Greggs a beast and has been one ever since he joined the ravens, and his bulky muscular frame and wrestling training combined with his leveraging technique make for one hell of a lineman.

Next, I'll go with the Browns entire team  they may not quite be a superbowl contender yet but I believe they have a whoooole lot of untapped potential and once it proves out I think they'll be up there with some of the tougher teams to face in the future. With this in mind I think they'll be under the radar on a national level but in my mind we should start taking them into consideration for a possible threat.

Third I'll say the Cardinals. if they get a defense watch out. Leinart isnt bad and will only get better, their offense is pretty freakin' good actually, with two of the top recievers in the league and Edgerrin James behind him thats a tough offense to stop.

Appreciate the props for Cleveland. I agree with you that right now of course, they are not Super Bowl or even .500 caliber, but they have a lot of young talent that I do really believe will pan out in the long run. Ultimately, time will tell. Since I also know that every team has one player that nobody really knows of, IMO, Cleveland's Kamerion Wimbley right now to be is who I'd consider underrated but I am hoping that will change.

As far as other players/teams, I'd say the Cardinals but we hear that every year so I'll wait to see on that one, although I think Leinart is gonna wind up being a good solid NFL quarterback. Aside from that I'd say almost any solid veteran OL guy. The stability they bring being there week in and week out can only help to make your team a better team and they hardly ever get any credit, besides a few exceptions.
