I don't understand our fan base anymore: Y'all love Kyle Boller, but y'all not patient with other talent on this team?!?!

2011 is when I noticed the boards started changing.  Just be happy we don't have anymore 43 vs 34 threads, I lost years on my life in those.

I wonder how many threads were merged because everyone just threw up their own thread on it.

That and moving Webb to safety.

That was a low point in Ravens fan history. I am ashamed of the fans on that day.

Boiler did and still does have fans in Baltimore.  I am one of them.

I remember that game and agreed, it was a low point in our history.

I was never a boller fan but got to say he had the heart of a football player

either you are billick or this is a clear cut troll thread.

billick about the only person who loved boller and preached patience with him....

haha, true story!

What's ridiculous is that Flacco gets just as bad, possibly even worse, treatment from a certain brain dead group of fans here.

I agree and has anybody else feel like Flacco has improved this season with his decisions.. He had a couple bad throws last week even though the one to Wallace came out to be a miscommunication at the end of the game... I don't see as many almost interceptions as he used to. I feel like he is reading defenses better. I think he still needs to knock rust off and get chemistry with receivers and get back to being more mobile in rollouts and such but I think he has done a pretty good job of being a game manager this season...

I'm still waiting for his break out game but so far he hasn't lost us any of these games.

Spoiled, I tell ya. Spoiled rotten.

Sure, we suck right now, but guess what? This is the NFL in the parity Era. So does pretty much everybody else. We have as much chance to turn it around and catch fire as anyone.

I'm just not used to this as I seen most every game since 96' as I was 10yrs old when we came to town. I remember being like when is Baltimore going to get an Nfl team since I was 6-7 yrs old as I was fan of a cowboys and wanted something local. I was a fan of the CFL COLT/STALLIONS too! 96-98 I was a cowboys/ravens fan. But that 1999 8-8 season made 100% Ravens fan as I saw a toughness and grit that moved me as a teenager and we looked championship like in demeanor. Then the next season we win it all!!!

8 years minus one playoff run is not patient??????? That isn't enough time to expect our QB to mature and develop? Not enough time for our HC to learn clock management???? Our team to figure who it wants to be????? Come on now!

Bruh, i'm talking about how we treat young talent and are not patient. People wanted Jimmy Smith gone during struggle first few season and now people want Perriman gone at 6 games!

However, this fanbase made every excuse for Kyle Boller even after McNair outclassed him while he (McNair) could barely throw the ball down field.

I'm not sure when I discovered the forum section on the team website, I mostly just read articles for a long time, but wow things must have been pretty bleak on here if people were on the Boller Train lol.

I spent every single game praying for defensive touchdowns and special teams return tds.

Thats why I still have such a deep love for good returners. Although the NFL is beginning to phase out kick returns and punters are getting increasingly better at angle punts.

In fact I became so defensive minded that I viewed the offense not turning it over and flipping field position as win and for the most part during games I still point out those positives today.

There are some eery similarities such as struggling offense that settles for FG too often creating a love/hate relationship with the kicker love to have a great kicker then stover, now Tucker but hate to see them kicking so often.

Things are different though because  I don't trust our current defense to carry us or shutdown or shutout teams and we don't have a workhorse RB to lean on.

I really don't understand this obsession with proclaiming draft picks bust before they've even played 3 years in the league. It's perfectly fine to criticize and complain about their performances. But for them to be instant busts you'd have to ask yourself what were your reasonable expectations for them to achieve to begin with.

Some of these people apparently expected Perriman whom still never even had a training camp or off season practices to step straight onto an NFL field put up some insane Randy Moss rookie stats.

They don't consider how the bengals have slowly developed CBs Dennard and W.Jackson, or how L.Treadwell isn't playing at all for Vikings, K.White missed all of last year and now most of this year.

It took M.floyd of Cardinals a few years to develop.

It really has a been a tread for years. J.Smith was bust since he wasn't a day 1 starter, got injured then beat on some double moves.

C.Upshaw played very well, but since he never became a pass rusher he's deemed a bust by people, but everyone loved and respected JJ for being an edge setter and teammate that sacrificed.
