In many ways, they did much of what they needed to do to overcome these issues. All things considered, the o line didn't do that badly. The loss of Jimmy turned out to be the one that we couldn't seem to survive. I'm just saying ... they were in a position to overcome and win this game. Wasting opportunities are what cost them this game more than anything.

The decision to not take the field goal is one that the Ravens will truly regret. That's the difference right now between 4-2 and having the chance at 5-1 (Raiders game would have gone to OT).

They need to blow the entire team. We suck from top to bottom.

Joe please give back some of that money you're making. You were awful. Especially on that final drive where you missed a wide open Wallace

That play was more on Wallace

Did not doing it win us the game? I mean, you guys advocate the same crap and we're LOSING games anyway. You act like Pees' style is winning us games. Got news for you, Pees got here in 2012 - when we still had defensive minded studs Lewis & Reed here - that year we win the SB - hasn't been too great after that though has it?

We're NOT WINNING PLAYING SCARED. So what is the worst that happens?

When your top 3 corners, your best LB, best pass rusher are all out you're not gonna win games regardless of the scheme.

Sorry. Pees isn't the issue for this game. We healthy, we win.

The Good: We didn't lose any ground in our division. Has there ever been a weekend when every AFC North team loss?

The Bad: We're starting to develop a 'new' identity around the league that I truly don't like: "Bend them and they will break." Passiveness.

The Ugly: Not being able to at the very least make teams adjust or stop teams from doing the obvious things they're comfortable with in any given situation.

Passive un-Aggressiveness.

2nd year in a row for mediocre play.  That usually spells hc changes in the real world.  owners have limits to patience.   head coaches do lose their edge sometimes.  complacency breeds lazy play.  players can sense poor direction.  you can blame players all day but fact of the matter is they play like they are expected to play by the hc.

Another chapter in the life of Joe stupid and the ten dumbs.  This group has absolutely no concept of strategy but continues to do the same thing over and over again with the same lack of result.  That is the definition of insanity.  24 years in the SEAL teams I have forgotten more strategy than this group will ever learn.  The most basic lesson that Joe stupid has never absorbed and never will is that he is the captain of the team and once the ball is snapped HE is in charge no matter what the coach has decided.  After the snap every player is a receiver but Joe insists on holding onto plan A long after it is clear that plan A doesn't exist.  He just doesn't have it.  The idea is to MOVE THE CHAINS even if it is 3 yds at a time.  As anyone who has ever been shot at in anger will tell you, no matter how careful the plan after the first shot is fired everything turns to crap and the guy who can think on his feet and improvise lives to play another day.  As my people all knew, the guy who said but we have always done it that way, was going to be digging my size 11 out of his butt.  THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!!!!

Really we had some questions at WR and OLine.

But Marty called a good game besides that stretch run and the QB sneak.

We really need CBs. Young can play on the outside but he's better in the slot. Davis may have just taken Wright's job

For fans? Nothing. Nothing else worse can happen. But that's for fans, who don't really matter much.

For players? Well, you can be blindly aggressive to appease the fans, get burnt, lose your job, become unemployed, etc.

For coaches? Basically same thing. Be like Rex Ryan, blitz all the time, force your players to play your scheme, and look over your shoulder every week seeing if you're going to get fired.

There's more to being a fan than just thinking like a fan. Sometimes it helps to think about what people who actually have something tangible invested in this (like their livelihood) might think about the "things can't get any worse" mentality.

I only read the first sentence and started dying. I needed that. Thanks.

getting blown out rather then be in close game with a chance to win it.

Gotta say what looked to be a promising group of WRs that had a lot of potential has so far been a huge disappointment.

The good: Terrence West is a beast. Offensive playcalling looked a hell of a lot better. When the defense was healthy we were performing.

The bad: The oline can't protect Joe to save his life.

The ugly: The penalties, the injuries, and Harbaugh's idiocy for the third week in a row.

It baffles me how much the CB position is ignored. We turn into a damn JV squad when jimmy is hurt. We've seen it before hoe do you not load up on corners in these drafts. How Do you not load up on pass rushers when the best ones are in the mid-30s

Our team is decimated and yet again we din't have depth are positions of need.

We could've had 13 corners and ODB was gonna do that..the key isn't loading up on them ...it's getting a core of 2-3 good ones that we feel comfortable with.. Outside of Jimmy I don't feel comfortable with any of our corners

Injuries happen they stink but we all know they happen but this team needs to show they want to win. I am just not seeing it for example the end of the 3rd quarter and the beginning of the 4th quarter absolutely NO Push up front thats all on the players and who wants it more.

I dont understand the play call that took all the WR's out of the game and bunched the field they did not even try to spread the DB's out Dont know if thats on OC or HC

The final drive was an absolute embarrassment. Seemed content with the lose.

I agree!  It was pathetic!  To be honest...I have no confidence in "THIS" (not those of the past) Ravens offense coming from behind to win games.  Sure, they did it with the Browns but since then...they have been behind in the past 3 games that all seemed to end in the same way...a lose!!!!

He was wide open AFTER the ball was thrown. Coincidence?

Come on guys. You're not even attempting to be smart at this point.

Seriously

I'm not too sure that their front 4 doesn't kill our poor O-line.
Hope we'll be able to get the ball out quick.

I like West but I have seen him a couple of times break out and I know Ray Rice in his prime would have taken it all the way to the end zone. He doesn't seem

to have that 3rd gear to take it to the house.

That's not the type of RB he is so I'm okay with that. West is more of a power back.

The last drive today did suck, but if I'm not mistaken they came from behind to take the lead very late in the game in all 3 losses, including today.

Again, you exaggerate to cover up Pees' flaws. I've seen no one call for blitzing every down or even all out blitzes. Don't they get fired anyway if we keep on losing? Keep losing & people lose their jobs - doesn't really matter if you're losing because you're playing scared or at least making some attempt to make something good happen.

Think that's where Dixon comes in eventually.  He's obviously still working his way back, but he showed his burst and explosiveness a couple of times today.  He looks to have that extra gear.  I like the combo of him and West going forward.

I have to agree here. I was screaming at the TV. Why were we meandering down the field?

We will just have to wait and see what the injury report looks like next week and how much URGENCY they practice with and how they come out next week.
