The good the bad and the ugly post game rant/vent week six

Are we allergic to kicking field goals when in the red zone?

For the third week in a row we passed up a FG to go for the score which took points off the board and would've allowed us to either win or need a fg at the end of a game like today and not a td.

Yeah man, he's a playmaker. Something we don't draft.

If a receiver of his caliber is routinely available in the 20's, we could talk, but even in 2014, the Ravens didn't have a shot at him.

I wonder how long it's going to take before the team finally get's fed up with the taste of defeat. It's up to them to do something about it. Cant blame the OC for this loss no push up front no urgency and just a blah-blah mentality on the field. SICK just SMH.

I mean I suppose we could blitz more, but ODB didn't have a problem beating that coverage anyway, so...

I mean, isn't there a middle ground? You know, like perhaps occassionally rushing 5 instead of 4? Especially when the 4 isn't getting pressure at all. I've heard of these things too - oh what was the term - oh, creative blitz packages. I've heard we used to have them - that even other teams' DCs use them. Of course, they might be a myth.

Not my point. And receivers of his caliber have been found even after the first round. Antonio brown was drafted in round 6. Diggs in round 5. Everybody just keeps making excuses.

We are pretty horrible.  The games are not even fun to watch.  Way too many penalties.  I'm sick of seeing 2 and 20 and we throw a screen and pick up a yard.

Four tries to get a yard for a TD and we can't do it?  Flacco is the worst QB sneak on the planet.

Please stop throwing to perriman.

This team just isn't any good and Harbaugh continuously not taking points when the opportunity presents itself isn't helping the situation. Its like the Ravens try to find ways to lose games each and every week.

3-3, and this is the soft part of the schedule.

What happens when we see Cincy x2? Pitt x2? NE? Philly? Dallas?

Antonio Brown was drafted in the 6th round because he went to a smaller school and not everyone thought the game would translate for him. So the Steelers took a shot and since they're great at developing WRs he ended up becoming maybe the best WR in football..

Do your research

I think we all know at this point that our particular scouting group lacks an eye for WR talent.

We've tried rushing 5 numerous times and the pressure still isn't getting there, leaving the DBs even further exposed.  You can blame Pees all you want, but this team isn't going to have success on the defensive side of the ball unless they can find a way to get to the QB on a consistent basis.  It's shocking they've done as well as they have to this point, in all honesty.

ODJ killed us. Jimmy isn't perfect but before he got hurt ODJ was ineffective. You can blame Harbaugh for not taking the points but when your offense can't get one yard, you don't deserve to win. Plain and simple. Juice should have blocked that guy. smh.

I said the same thing when I seen him whiff on that block....he went in like he was scared to block

2 plays you guys are blaming Joe on that he didn't screw up.

1: over throwing Wallace on the last drive. No he did not. Wallace wasn't looking at flacco at all until it was to late. Joe was trying to hit him in stride and mike was simply not payin attention.

2: Aiken was wide open. Wrong again. Aiken didn't break open til the ball was thrown and his man who was covering him followed the ball and went away from aiken to leave him by himself. But you know I guess flacco was supposed to magically act as a magnet to bring the ball back to his hands then throw it again since Aiken's man left him open when he threw it the first time huh?

Btw jimmy receives to much hate. Gives up 1 TD all year and shuts guys down and he gets hurts and all hell breaks loose.

People pick who to hate on.

Aight so:

No Stanley, No Wagner, No Yanda, No SSS, No Jimmy, No Shareece, No CJ, No Suggs, ZDS hurt, Tavon Hurt, Zuttah hurt, AND we still only lost by 4? Honestly not bad.

If you saw our Injury report and thought we were gonna play a clean game or even win, you're delusional. We were set up for failure right from the kickoff.

That said, We desperately need to get healthy. The injuries are becoming too much to handle. Hopefully Stanley, Yanda, and/or Wagner can come back next week to mitigate the pain on the O-line, and SSS is good enough to give us some reliable hands.

The offense played pretty well for all the pieces they were missing. Mornhinweg is a far better replacement from Trestman. Defense laid an egg though in the passing game. Gotta put the blame on the lack of pass rush there, because OBJ is gonna burn us when Will Davis and Tavon Young are on him

Overall, this game sucked, but really there wasn't anything too unexpected. We stopped the run, couldn't stop the pass, We started running more, the passing game saw some effectiveness. It s meh, and it gets better knowing the rest of the AFCN lost as well.

And for the love of [Deity], STOP LETTING HARBAUGH GO FOR IT ON 4TH DOWN

Jimmy is still showing he's one of the most indispensable players on this team. Once he went out, OBJ had a field day.

He wasn't a superb prospect, either. He just has an insane work ethic and drive to be great.
