Is this the 3rd or 4th time where our coaching staff made a greedy decision that cost us the game? Just kick the field goal. I know if we made the touchdown then people would be praising the call, but it's a greedy call. Play the game safe and you have a chance to win later in the game. I mean want's the point of paying Tucker if we don't even use him. SMH

i know right? he doesnt learn..he just doesnt. If he had taken points we'd have won every game right now.

As I said earlier..way earlier, like weeks ago. Ravens are at best an 8-8 9-7 team. They just are not good. Flacco is NOT elite. He is NOT the type of QB that can carry his team. Team has always relied on a strong running game and good D. I didn't expect much out of this year though, so if anything the Ravens are right on pace on where i thought they would be.

Look at it again. He ended up wide open after the ball was in the air. He kept on zig zagging so you can't tell where he was going to end up.

What questionable call outside the one PI call?

There were at least 2 times that we committed clear PI and it wasn't called.  First one was in the end zone when the Giants were on our 3 yard line, don't remember who was covering but we basically just pushed the receiver out of the way before the ball reached him.

Anyone want to have an honest discussion about Flacco or the roster that Ozzie put together or should we continue to blame coaching?

Almost 24 hours until gametime and of course, like everybody else, my mind has been spinning. I'll probably get crushed for this but oh well lol.

One thing I've noticed in the past few years is we either...

1. Are drafting role players to fit the "Ravens way."

or

2. Oz and decosta are just plain missing. Very badly.

We have one person left from our 2010-11 drafts(Pitta and jimmy).

None from '12(my lord if you have time look at that draft).

we all know how busty the 13 draft was (elam and art brown).

'14 was a very oooookkkkk(cj and Timmy J).

'15 gave us close to nothing .

'16 jury is still out.

I trust in Ozzie so it's tough to believe that it's number 2 but it's starting to seem that way. Right now our MAIN issue is our lack of HOMEGROWN playmakers. If you look at the past 5 or 6 drafts compared to other teams it is very dissapointing. Outside of drafting CJ (great pick) most of our other picks are role players who fizzle out eventually. Yes of course BWill is a good player and excellent run stopper but is he a playmaker? I'm not too sure. Jernigan is on his way but needs to keep being consistent. Jimmy, while I think he's good, isn't a playmaker. To me, this is the reason we are in so many close games and lack decisive wins. We don't have many playmakers at game breaking positions. RB, pass rusher, WR(least important) CB. We rely on old vets to fill playmaking positions and it's showing.  Teams like the steelers, pats, Bengals, Seattle, minn, etc have so many homegrown playmakers and once they grow up together they dominate.

Sidebar -In the past 3 or so years, what percentage of our BEST players have been drafted by us? This year our best players have been SSS, Weddle, cj, Jernigan, Wallace, T west, Orr, pitta, and based on respect if you want to add sizz I'll give you that. Talent wise, I know flacco is one but has he played like one of our best players yet this year? Not too sure.. I could be missing somebody but that's not a good ratio. Compare this to the squeelers best players so far this year(I know I know)

Big Ben, leveon, Brown, shazier, cam heyward, D Williams etc. most are homegrown and playmakers. Sucks to think about but it's reality and we need a change before we fall too far behind in the talent department. The OC change isn't going to fix this everything, just saying.

I think you're talking about Wright and they were both fighting for it with Shareece reaching  one hand out to knock it away

The Good: Terrence West

The Bad: The fact that that we were handed the game ... both by the Giants through their turnovers and then by the refs at the end, and we refuse to take it.

The Ugly: It seems like we've gotten back to our ways of making every game close ... and losing them

Cant wait to hear how they got to go back to work and stop shooting themselves in the foot. Maybe the team needs to work on keeping the lead once they got the lead.

Good - Tucker and West.

Following the 2012 pattern,

- Lose to Redskins, then fire OC.

- The following week we lost the game against the Broncos after the OC change.

2016:

- Lose to the Redskins, fire the OC.

- After the OC change, we lose the following game.

- Pattern says we go out and beat the Jets next week.

The pass rush is nothing short of awful.  Don't get me wrong, the CBs we had out there weren't very good either, but they're never going to succeed when we get exactly 0 pressure.

AFC North goes 0-4 today.  Perfect opportunity for us to get into the lead (tied with Pittsburgh) and we go out and play like a bunch of idiots.

THIS is a perfect post!!!!! THANK YOU for saying it.

Garbage, garbage, garbage. We have drafted garbage the last 3 years and it shows. We have no "next man up" we might as well pick people up off the street because they will be just as effective. Everybody needs to go. Only person I can even begin to praise is Justin Tucker. Awful team.
