If Suggs is actually out. I bet Ochi is our top target.

Actually the play calling wasn't bad today. We left a lot on the field because of stupid penalties by a Young oline. It's infuriating but it happens.

We need our starters back asap. The backups played like backups

I believe that this team's spirit is broke after 3 straight losses bro.  This is going to be hard for them to recover from imo.  They are just not getting it done whatsoever and we'll probably here the same old coach speak and player buzz words being spoken in their interviews like; "play better," "get better," "we're not making enough plays on offense," "we're not scoring points offensively," "we're not getting off the field on 3rd downs defensively," etc, etc, etc.  When you start hearing that week after week after week after week...the team is not that good and to me..and imo it goes well beyond just coaching but also issues with the personnel.

Winners make their own luck.

That's a great cliché, but that's why it's a cliché. There's always an element of luck in any game. On that particular play, most times 2 defenders would never collide like that (very low probability) and take each other out of the play.

Everyone who ever played or watched the game honestly knows - a little luck is always in the equation - good or bad.
http://fifthdown.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/08/nfl-win-probabilities-for-week-5-dont-forget-luck/?_r=0

Yes highly competitive, hard working, talented 'winners' still play a major role in every outcome, but OBJ believes it. His words: "As much as I like Reese he got really lucky with this pick."

That said, we could use a little more luck, too. Just saying.

I think a lot of you should turn on the TV and watch Aaron Rogers stinking it up. Maybe bring some perspective to your thoughts.

All of the players that left the game or got hurt in some capacity (that I saw) today...

Jimmy Smith
Shareece Wright
Jerraud Powers
Tavon Young
Albert McClellan (know he came back at least)
Terrell Suggs
Za'Darius Smith

Not counting the ones that were inactive and we only lost by 4

I was just getting ready to post this. Did I hear that he hasn't thrown a TD at all this year during the second half of a game?

most serious in order

1: Suggs IR

2: Powers 2-3 weeks out

the rest should be fine

Jimmy was the most serious considering the time frame we lost him during the game.  However I think I know what you are saying.

suggs probably a biceps injury to IR

Not at all. I know it wasn't about me. Im speaking on what I've dealt with from just expressing my opinion in a thread that has been closed(Idk why). All I'm saying is it would be nice to be able to express your opinion without having mods throw their weight around when they disagree. I've gotten warning points for speaking my mind. And I've seen people (who don't know me) attack me personally(against the code of conduct)but it's all good because their opinion is the same as a mods. It's just the truth. And people wonder why our country is in the state it's in? It's crazy. At the end of the day none of us get a ring so we should have fun talking our team! Different opinions and all. And right now, we are an average team. 3-3!!

I reviewed your history.  The bolded statement is flat out untrue.

lol. perriman needs all the experience he can get and who are you going to replace him with? Moore, another rookie? Stop trying to be all coach-like when you don't know anything

Not trying to be "all coach-like". Making contested catches and catches in traffic is not something you can coach. You either have it or you don't. But I'm all for putting him in situations for him to excel. Deep routes and the like. Maybe give Aiken/Moore his reps on the cross routes and slants.

Yep. And the pick he just threw was the worst.

I can't watch them anymore. They're becoming a serious health hazard.

I'm out.

Was about to say the sammmmme exact thing. I will no longer be watching the games anymore- its just too bad for my anxiety.

We put up a good fight but we were just down too many players, plain and simple. Much better play calling on offense. I think it was a good start considering how bad our o line was and how many players we were down.

Everytime we get the chance to put a team away early and put the dagger in their throat we fail to do so and just let them hang around and hang around and chop away at the lead and before you know it were losing and have lost all momentum.  When jimmy went down I knew we were in for trouble. And we just weren't getting enough pressure on eli. Made them completely one dimensional and it didnt even matter. We were one 4th down play away from a victory and we let their best player burn us for the loss. I don't care what personal we have left on the field- you just can't let them beat us that way. And to watch that showboatin fool run around and wrestling around with that stupid net just made me sick. I was really hoping that taunting penalty would come back to bite him and cost their team the game. Once again it just wasn't meant to be. A lot of guys stepped up and made plays. ( that 4th down catch by Aiken was awesome) but yeah I will not be watching the games anymore due to the roller coaster of emotions this team puts me through week in and week out. Its just plain cruel.

Honestly my dude, it's a valid excuse but this is football. Next man up. Nobody will care besides us unfortunately. I agree with you that injuries are screwing us 2 years in a row. Maybe our practices are too intense. It's not like it's paying off.

I guess excuse is a bad word. But you cant have that many injured players and be the same team imo.

Amazing how bad a QB can look when there's a lack of talent around him.

Where's Jeremy Butler when you need him....

Naw cause Rodgers stinking it up is rare while the Ravens doing so is regular.

You'd actually be surprised how erratic he's been these past two years.

Again, you exaggerate to cover up Pees' flaws. I've seen no one call for blitzing every down or even all out blitzes. Don't they get fired anyway if we keep on losing? Keep losing & people lose their jobs - doesn't really matter if you're losing because you're playing scared or at least making some attempt to make something good happen.

Yes, they do get fired if they keep losing. But the players get fired first.

That's generally how things work. Firing the coaches and praying that the personnel all of the sudden get healthy or start playing better (when some clearly aren't) is how multiple regimes get hired and fired. Basically you're the Browns/Bills for a decade.

I mean there isn't any sort of secret sauce here. The reality is that great players don't always play great, good players don't always play good, and average players don't always play average.

Everybody player and coach on this planet has flaws... many of them significant. I'm watching many Aaron Rodgers flaws as we speak, and he's supposed to be one of the best.

There's definitely a bit of irony here, both in the idea of exaggeration and of there being "no middle ground". The irony is 100% of the best defenses in this league play right in the middle between "playing scared" and "making an attempt to make something good happen". Every single team you watch, including this one, operates in the middle of those two things.

I'm speaking recently, not 2012-13. Why was my thread closed then?? After this game, it would be flooded and you know it.  And did you give warning points to the ones who personally attack people? Or only to ones who disagree with you? A guy literally just made a personal attack at Sami lol. But I'm sure you didn't see it right?

If we weren't a good team we would be getting blown out. Were not bad at all. We have just failed to put together a complete game in all 3 phases. 3 losses in a row or not. The lead in the north is only one gane away as the entire north lost today. All of them a lot uglier than us-  and we were down half our damn team.
