The good the bad and the ugly post game rant/vent week six

Fans have a right to praise their team for great play or bash them for piss poor play.  That has nothing to do with running a team.

The Ravens are in trouble and constantly speaking positive doesn't negate how poorly they play on the field!

But when you have fans prematurely calling people busts and claiming they do better and overreacting to every little thing that halts productive discussion.

Im okay with you for example as a poster because you're more level headed. Your criticisms are fair. A lot of others are not.

I joined this forum because for the past 6 years I lived in niner and now bronco territory. I wanted intelligent discussion.

That seldom happens here because we overreact to everything.

No pass rush

The oline looks terrible on passing plays

Terrible penalties

Drops, drops ,drops

Injuries everywhere

On the positive side,

offensive play calling was better

T West can make something out of nothing,

Run defense

Secondary played well until jimmy was hurt

Turn overs are coming our way every game

How bad is our pass D is when Giants convert 4th & 3-4 and 4th & 5-6 and don't even think of running on 4th & 1?

To be honest a lot of these fans deserve losing seasons. So I agree as well. They whine and complain about EVERYTHING and it's embarassing.

It's a game people and you have no power. Go do something else and take your negative BS somewhere else. It can't be healthy.

Lol this is considered whining and complaining. Hypocrite.

Yeah, but I'm complaining about the lack of good discussion. Not like "OMG our season is over. Blow up the team and rebuild! Which has happened EVERY DAMN GAME since I've been watching and eventually posting on these forums. Notice how I'm not calling for anyone's head or belittling the amount of talent.

and yes I'm treating you like a 14 year old. When you act your age I'll treat you like it

Did they WIN or LOSE?  Including today?

I think you said you don't trust them to be able to come back late in a game. Just pointing out that they did it in all three losses, only to give up the lead again with less that two minutes in all three.

This team has a ton of talent. For whatever reason we're snakebitten. We have three talented young RBs, good young offensive linemen, good dlinemen.

We're honestly a good edge rusher and another corner away at this point if totally healthy.

We don't have bad depth, but if a lot of your team is people in the second unit you're gonna struggle. That's just common sense.

I completely agree with what you just said. Hopefully others will realize this soon.

Maybe if we were, we wouldn't have so many spoiled whiners. They'd be used to this.

It's crazy how asking questions and having opinions that aren't the same as yours is considered being "spoiled whiners." Yes at times people overreact but we are an average team right now with average coaching. We could be 6-0 and easily could be 0-6(which is why we are 3-3). It's all part of the deal. Let people live and stop being in denial.

every throw in that situation is gonna be in triple coverage.

do you understand situational football? what do you expect the defense to NOT cover the area the ball is thrown to?

someone else didn't c the replay  what is situation football is that where most of the team is inside and not much outside? yah exactly

anyways we lose again and that was NOT a good team. that team will not finish .500 and may be last in their division

we was injured but we have a lot of probs

Bottom line - teams see our weakness and capitalize.

this week, Beckham, last week Crabtree. Both players made the identical play to beat us, repeatedly.

We need to watch what is actually happening during the game, and adjust. We have never reacted quickly when mistakes are made.

Adjustments. Smart decisions. Winning football means playing smart football, and it starts with the head coach.

pretty damn bad. The pass rush is pathetic and no DB can cover forever, much less rookies and back ups. Run D is still stout though.

I get what you are saying.

My take on it is that IF the Ravens are playing well...give'em props!  But...IF...they are playing piss poor...then say that!  I'm not with all of this pie in the sky stuff.  It is what it is and they are what they are!  We've seen them for 6 games now.  What in the world has changed about the offense in particular to fix their inability to score touchdowns in the red zone without the help of penalties aiding them to get near the goal line?  Forsett...gone!  Trestman...gone!  And yet it is the same old garbage with them.  The defense can't seem to get any pass rush for the past few games now and they are still giving up big plays at the end of games.  Call a spade a spade is all I say!

Actually the play calling wasn't bad today. We left a lot on the field because of stupid penalties by a Young oline. It's infuriating but it happens.

We need our starters back asap. The backups played like backups

Perriman needs to sit until he's ready to catch the ball. If that never happens then so be it.

lol. perriman needs all the experience he can get and who are you going to replace him with? Moore, another rookie? Stop trying to be all coach-like when you don't know anything

We will not have a winning record without a pass rush and a poor offensive line.

Football is won in the trenches and we are losing those battles .

Yeah just went back and added him.  Thought I had put him in there.

Still, 4 out of 5 CBs (although Young looks to be fine) and 3 LBs.

Not at all. I know it wasn't about me. Im speaking on what I've dealt with from just expressing my opinion in a thread that has been closed(Idk why). All I'm saying is it would be nice to be able to express your opinion without having mods throw their weight around when they disagree. I've gotten warning points for speaking my mind. And I've seen people (who don't know me) attack me personally(against the code of conduct)but it's all good because their opinion is the same as a mods. It's just the truth. And people wonder why our country is in the state it's in? It's crazy. At the end of the day none of us get a ring so we should have fun talking our team! Different opinions and all. And right now, we are an average team. 3-3!!
