They, Buffalo have turned it on against substandard run defenses. Gotta look at the quality of opponents.

9th and 11th. Arizona and KC. And in both those games the Jets gave up around 4ypc. Just saying the Jets run D isn't "great" or "superior". Only thing I was pointing out against.

Knowing Flacco I think he will try & start but, I think we'll be okay with Mallett.... We just have to Win, good sign that Stanley practiced we need to protect our QB.

Too risky in my opinion. Might be too late for Joe if we try that. This game is a MUST win. If Joe or any other starters are healthy enoufh to play, they play. They can then use the bye to rest up!

 

Maybe Joe cmes out firing like he did vs Tampa a couple years ago and Mallett finishes the game.

Yes, but compared to the others on that list theirs has been particularly inconsistent and hasn't been very good the past two weeks, and their oline can't be trusted to consistently block well for anyone

People need to stop with the "must" win.

It is basic math. Sunday is NOT a "must" win.

Is it important? Yes absolutely. Is it more important than a non conference game? Sure is. Is it more important than a division game? Nope. If we loose on Sunday are we eliminated from the playoffs? Nope. Not at all. Therefore, based on that information, and again, basic math, Sunday is NOT a must win.

If you listen to some fans on here, every week is a must win. There has never been a game in our 20 year history that we could afford to lose.

Agree to an extent but coming off of three straight losses , with the bye week next week, with the way our remaining schedule shakes out, and with this being a conference game- this is as close to a must win at this point in the season as your gonna get.

The OLine is gonna be key for us in this game. The Jets DLine is tough  Also field position is gonna be so important. Punt or kick FGs on 4th and inches at ALL TIMES until its critical. Also shade or double Brandon Marshall all day.
