I don't think it is odd the change came at 3-2 because even the three wins were barely wins. Just as we could be 5-0 we could also be 0-5 very easily. I was on twitter screaming for his termination after the Washington game because it seemed like we couldn't stand success. Whenever something was working it was almost like we deliberately did the opposite on offense. Flacco skills werent being utilized, instead he was asked to do those things that didn't suit his style. I think the big thing with Marty is what he said, identify our strengths, identify their weakness and keep them off-balance. I believe Mark had a system in his mind and didn't take into consideration that his style didn't suit the moving pieces he had to work with. There was clearly a level of frustration with the players and when players are frustrated, that shows in their play and to me it was obvious.

I think that we will do better, not because of changing for changings sake, but because I believe Marty better understands the moving pieces and as such will be better able to use their strengths. His experience in the league will help him identify the other teams weaknesses, giving him a much better understanding of what needs to be done. I look for the Ravens to just plain be a better team.

Hope I'm dead wrong but I have this feeling it will be a long day. Road game against a desperate Giants team not a good combination. If we don't get pressure on Eli, which we likely will not, he will look like Peyton in his prime.

Something about this article just got me pumped up. Despite the 2 game losing streak I like where our heads are at. Seems like its strictly business and I think there's a real positive vibe going around. Trestman might have been the cancer that needed to be cut out in order for us to flourish. I think he was one of the only things holding us back. I think this team is ready to step up and make some plays along with cutting out the mistakes. If 3-2 is such an awful spot to be then I feel pretty good about what this team can accomplish. Suggs is back to being suggs . hopefully yanda can power through along with stanley and we can just punch it down their throat with west and finally get back to RAVENS FOOTBALL.

I have to say thank you to Mr. Byrne! My daughter came down from upstate New York with her boyfriend and a couple friends to see the game Sunday. We were right under the booths. When I saw Kevin in the booth, I told them "hey, there is Kevin Byrne, he is a Vice President with the Ravens". They waved to him and he stopped what he was doing to wave back and give them a thumbs up. They loved it! Thanks again man! GO RAVENS! CB 25

We could be 5-0, we should be no worse then 4-1. Inexcusable, and with a legit OC we would be either 4-1 or 5-0.

Losing is unacceptable in this Town. This isnt The Browns,Jags,Oakland who will sit for decades of losing in "Factories of Sadness" no this is Bmore a Historic Football City with 5 Championships between The Colts&Ravens, and heads roll if your not competing for SBs

Now lets get this thing back on the tracks
Tighten up the Special Teams
Lets see the revamped Offense with balance hopefully
And good defense
Get this win

To be determined. Players just need to win most of their 1on1 duels.

Naysayers not allowed. Just kidding. Cross your fingers, toes, eyes or whatever. We want this win!

If offense can put together drives and forget the 3-outs, this team will be much improved. Even if your not putting together a scoring drive, you need to at the very least gain enough yardage to win the field position game and not tire out your defense before the 4th quarter starts. Need a min of 3 first downs every possession on average. This team has the personnel to do it. Get it done and win a game for the defense this week.

And don't stress the offense asking for 'touchdowns only' - play calm, get in field goal range, get the three points, and be content [anyone saw the Chargers last night?]

I think to $100 question is ,WHY didn't HARB'S say hey TRESSMAN why aren't we sticking with the run? it's been working all day, thats his fault.i think TRESSMAN saw the writing on the wall called a BAD game to get fired, but at the EXPENSE and EMBARANCEMENT of RAVEN NATION,losing 2 at home in a row, sad, hey TRESSMAN give back the money you stole!

No surprise, like many stated it´s not as we looked good in our wins either.

But I must say I´m a little concerned about Flacco... I think he´s missed way to many throws. I don´t know if I´m being overly critical, but the amount of money we pay for our QB I think we should expect more.

This wasn't all on Trestman. The payers shoulder much of the responsibility as well as the coaches. It's a team game and we win and lose as a team. We got rid of our OC but we still have player issues. Too many penalties, Joe's having a hard time ignoring someone coming at him and that's costing him a second or two to get rid of the ball. I'll admit that seeing a 350lb bulldozer coming to smash me would make me cringe too but this is his job and he needs to be smarter with the ball. Move out of the pocket, away from the pressure and if nothings there, toss it away! I know he can do it because he does it sometimes, just not every time.
Our WR's also need to focus on catching the ball and where the 1st down marker is. Anything after the catch is a bonus but you have to make the catch first. Everyone must do there jobs. If you're having issues, you should be on the practice field and in the classroom longer, not playing Playstation. Our players have the best tools available to them and they need to use them.
Now, lets go show NY who we are!
GO RAVENS!

We can console ourselves all we want and rationalize the losses and even create a scape goat out of a coordinator. But, the bottom line is we have been abysmal as an offense the first 5 games, not just the last 2. The difference being the last two games were played against average teams unlike the first 3.

The way I see it, unless something dramatic happens with our offense, meaning Flacco begins to play like a 9 yr veteran elite QB, and the receivers start getting separation and catching the balls, and the game plan isn't as predictable that even I can tell what play they may be running next, this loss streak will continue. I don't know if what ails us is fixable by firing coaches. There is something going on for the last 2 yrs, that is far deeper than that. Could it be that we lack talent on offense? Most likely so.

We keep harping on our special teams prowess and ranking, but we've been atrocious the last couple of weeks. They've been directly responsible for our losses along with our putrid offense. As much hate that was spewed in Pees' direction in the off season, I think he's been the saving grace of the 2016 Ravens, nobody else including Harbaugh has done much. If we end up losing the next 2 games (likely scenario actually), then we are going to be in a hole so deep that we may look at another losing season in a row. Just speaking my mind after watching our performance these past 5 games. Enough sample size imo.

Wow. This guy's gotta quit wearing his purple glasses at night. What a joke. The reason Trestman is gone, is because the Ravens are stuck with Self Righteous John and Far Below Average Joe.

The irony of this entire comment.
