8 posts in this topic

The Giants are looking to get their offense on track just like the Ravens after back-to-back rough outings for Eli Manning. Baltimore hasn’t been too kind to Manning over the years, however.

He may do better this week, since it is only Thursday and we have several days
to put more players either out or on IR. I think we lead the NFL and any other
football league in players on IR. When it is time to make cuts we usually put eight to ten players in IR and then we just add to that every week.

Whatever Eli hasn't been able to do so far this year, we'll most likely help him do it Sunday. We just have a knack of doing that with teams. Right now, we're a hot mess. Our stats don't look too bad however you have to remember, most of those stats came from the 1st 3 games against horrible teams. We stayed with Oakland for a bit because we "thought we could" but then played worst against Washington. Confidence is not just weak with the fans, the players are feeling it too I think. We'll see Sunday. I'll be perched in front of the big screen from beginning to end as I always am, hoping we pull it out. I feel sorry for Marty though. As soon as he heard he was going to be OC, I bet he started looking at what his house is worth on the market. Gotta be a tough life for a OC in Baltimore!

Out of conference losses don't mean as much as in conference losses. If we are going to lose games, we would want them to be against the NFC. With this in mind, the Oakland loss was more important than Washington loss. As well, if we are to lose 1 of the next two, I would rather it be against the Giants than the Jets.

True but let's win both and shut all these doubters up.

I am optimistic that having Marty take over the offense is going to spark that "confidence" that the O lacks. It's clear the players weren't buying into Marc's system because I don't recall them ever responded to him, with the media, like they already have with Marty in the last few days.

The only thing Marty could do worse than Marc after the Skins game is leave his running backs in Baltimore. Everything else is up to the players.
