Injury reports have very little value IMO. I read them here every week, but they are designed to obscure who is actually injured and who will actually play.

BTW, do we know which coach's idea it was to call that absolutely, insanely meaningless play with 00:01 in the second quarter to try one more play at our 25 yard line instead of taking a knee, that yielded absolutely nothing (of course...), but got Rick Wagner injured?

Sometimes it seems the play calling just makes no sense as in this example.

Today was basically a rest day for Vets all across the league.. With both teams on a losing streak and being a "must win" game so early in the year, I expect most of the players out there.

I believe most of these key guys will play from what Im hearing.
Stanley first and foremost, hes been saying he could play for 3 weeks, very prideful&tough yet Harbaugh keeps sitting him. I heard some connected to Ravens say the expect him back this week so I'll hold my thought until Harbaugh decides.

Yanda,Wagner,Mosley,Sr.tough guys, Gamers.. banged up Shoulders,Ankles, and hamstrings... extra rest during the week, extra tape during gameday. I expect them all to play.
Find out more tomorrow

It was at our own 46 not 25. And why not throw up a hail mary - Joe has the arm. I almost would have like Tucker to go out there and try the 70 yarder....

I would like to see Tucker attempt a 70 yarder but it was too windy.

Considering we're signing OL practically off the street, I suspect the injuries may be more serious.

Moderator 3, Maybe they signed a street F/A Oline because the depth on the team just stinks behind Lewis&Uerschel. Same reason they signed Ducasse back.

I just know a lot of these guys are "Warriors" and "Gamers" and a hammy or banged up shoulder, ankle isnt going to keep Pro bowl caliber players like Yanda,Mosley,Sr out, Etc Stanley has been saying he can play for weeks..

Im hearing from connected sources in media through radio shows etc that most of these guys should play

When you throe a hail mary the play is designed to have the QB roll out to give his WR's time to get down the field. Joe dropped straight back into the pocket and was sacked. That call was almost as stupid as having Tucker coming out for the FG and lining up from his left foot side. That may work in the 12 year old league NOT in the NFL. JOKE!

No, its not designed that way. You only roll the QB out when you have a QB with a weak arm because he needs to really step into the throw. QBs with arms like Flacco & Rodgers can take a normal 5-7 step drop and air it out - that way the defense doesn't know which side of the end zone to cover. And the Skins said they were fooled by Tucker (so was Sizzle, Mosley, etc in practice). I guess you think the Ravens are a bunch of 12 year olds. Btw, Gilmore was wide open on it......

Does it really matter at this point? Just play the best players we got and we'll see what happens. The fact that we lost 2 home games to average teams dictates that we temper our expectations for the upcoming road games. Our offense is anemic and lacks punch or character unfortunately. I'm not sure if Marty can suddenly kick start our offense against the Giants and the Jets. I've been really bummed out with our performance at home over the last 2 games simply because of my own silly expectations and optimism regarding this team. I should've known that there was a good reason we only squeaked by the first 3 teams which were not really good teams in the first place. But, I hope the Ravens can perform a miracle this season and win more games than they lose. Good luck Ravens!

I wonder if Stanley realizes how close he is to going on IR. It is not a bad injury but since we are the one team that refuses to play any players that have a bump or a bruise I guess IR is the next step. This is a normal progression with
the Ravens.

With CJ possibly being out Sunday, it will be a good chance for Orr to take the reigns of play calling, never a bad thing to be able to do lots. I'm hopeful KC is able to see increased snaps and show some of that relentless motor from earlier in camp.

We will have to wait and see how the offensive line does with Marty calling the plays. If he can keep defenses honest, it will go along way towards helping them out up front.

Nobody is OUT.. Its Wednesday people!!! Well technically Thursday but Wednesday injury report wise... and every week, every year, we see the same thing..half the team misses practice with hammy, banged up shoulders, ankles etc.. and they all wind up playing because they are veteran pro bowl caliber players who take pride in being "Warriors" "Gamers"
The only question mark really is Stanley, and hes been able to play for weeks by his own mouth..but Harbaugh has held him out...costing us 1st place and 2 victories...
If he keeps holding Stanley out were going to miss the playoffs.
The kid has pride, tough and said he expects to play..So I expect Harbaugh to release him from the "Cell of Injury Precaution/Doghouse"

I thought I'd seen some lame comments in the past, but this one.............um yeah

Steve Smith Sr, CJ Mosley, Marsha Yanda, Stanley, and Rick Wagner are all injured and have a great chance of not be able to play. That's almost the entire OL gone. If none of these players play we are looking at another loss. No way they would keep Joe upright when those three key pieces on the OL are out due to injury. Man it just can't get any worse.

The Ravens are not snake bit or did not have a losing season last year due to injuries. They are old at some of the key playmaking positions (pass rusher and Wr), their drafts and players with big contracts have not live up to expectations, and they get out coached in close games.

We should not be handicapped cause a 37 year old receiver is injured,

After 11 draft picks there is still limited depth on the o-line

Flacco is on his 5th OC and still can't all his own plays or make adjustments at the line.

All of this points to a poorly coached team and inability to develop young players.

I am not concerned with Smith Sr, Doom, Yanda, or Mosley being injured.

Ravens should be giving Correa and Judon more snaps anyway. Perriman as a first round draft pick needs reps in games to grow and Aiken has become a forgotten player in the offense.

I am starting to feel like Harbs sit guys down so he can have the injury excuse if they lose the next couple of games. You take away Kubiak and this team has been on a downward trend for the last 4 years.

After every game you hear the same next game, work on it excuses. Steve, we are becoming a losing football team.

I'm hoping KC doesn't morph into our previously touted #2 pick LB Arthur Brown.

Yanda, smith likely out. We're missing a lot of our stars. Mosley might be out too. This sucks

good thing we're not facing a division rival, or the pats. Man, can we just get healthy and stay that way?

Wouldn't be an issue if we had "depth" and not just bodies to fill positions on the field...
