Ya know, you can type more than one sentence into a comment instead of typing 5 separate post.

Anyway, who's the "only guy getting open" or cares? SSS, Pitta, Wallace?

I'm thrilled that Weddle went with us and I'm not ready to crown the Steelers yet

I just hope it is as easy as firing Trestman. Joe apparently got his wish... hope he takes advantage of the new situation he finds himself in.

Remains to be seen? Not sure about Joe? Too inaccurate and the back foot lobs kill me. I watch Rookies play better than Joe. Hasn't played up to his contract since signing it. A lot a money to pay 1 guy to Not perform.

Flacco has been extremely accurate this year. He's completing almost 2/3 of his passes despite being under constant pressure. He's dropped some perfect dimes and thrown lasers into tight spaces, only to watch them bounce off his receivers' hands. The back foot lobs only happen when he has no room to step into his throws. Out of about 50 drop backs, I see him miss about 2-3 open targets per game, and it's almost always when he has pressure in his face. A QB that makes perfect throws every time does not exist.

Let me start with, "it's not everyone" but...

Almost want to block all members with under 1k of post after a loss.

Is it just me?

Who the heck is weedle? And I think most commenters know they can post what they want, when they want without YOUR advice.

The reason for less likes/dislikes is because not everyone takes the time to go into the forums. (I believe). Before, you could hit the like/dislike button from the home page, now we can't. Seems like a ghost town compared to what it used to be.:crickets:

I'm virtually all mobile on this site and still occasionally use the like/dislikes.

Was just venting a little after seeing nothing but fire him, cut him, world's on fire after 2 loses lol

The team kind of set this up after having several years of success, some dont realize how hard it is to sustain success in the NFL

Hmm, that could be because people (like myself) might not even realize there is a specific board forum. Thanks for the tip guys ;)

it's sad to see another season of poor play, things will not improve unless joe has time to throw the ball. plus joe is starting to rush his throws witch are now not on target.

i'd lik to know why the players are off monday,if you lose you practice, they'l focus if they have to work after a loss.

It's a league-wide off day unless a team is playing on Thursday night following a Sunday game. Has nothing to do practice after a loss, LOL.

If you failed on your job during the week, would you want to work for free on your scheduled off day. I don't think so!

Football is a physical game, and these men have lives outside of work, including families. Every coach in the NFL would give their players Monday off to rest and be with their family. This has been going on for a long time too.

We're trying to get SSS a Ring for one thing, so if no one saw a firing coming then I guess you don't know how the Ravens operate.

In 2000 & 2012 we lost to the Skins and won superbowls both years.

In 2016, we lose to the Skins and ?

In 2012, OC Cam Cameron was fired following a Skins loss

In 2016, OC Marc Trestman was fired following a Skins loss.

In 2012, Jim Caldwell, the QB coach became the OC.

In 2016, Marty Mornhinweg, the QB coach became the OC.

In 2012, Art Modell passed away (RIP).

In 2016, Clarence Brooks passed away (RIP).

In 2012, Ray Lewis announced it was "His Last Ride"

Time for Steve Smith Sr. to announce it is "His Last Ride"?

Weird how life works sometimes, eh? Have you ever seen the list of comparisons of Lincoln's and Kennedy's assassinations? Freaky!

Sorry, don't agree. If you don't think SSS, Wallace, Suggs, Doom, BWill, Mosley or Weddle are "Alpha Males", you're wrong.

I am just happy changes were made now instead of at the bye week, right before we play Pittsburg(H)......sorry, I promise I am not the spelling police but my Steelers' wife wanted to make sure I drew attention to the "H" on the end of her city. Sometimes I have to earn some points with her, because I lose so many hating on her team.....lol.

Recovery.  As the season wears on, those recovery days are important.  Guys are getting therapy, and dealing with the soreness.  Got to give the body a chance to recover and prepare for the next week.  Overworking tired muscles won't make them better or help with focus.........

Morningwig is a veteran coach. I do not see significant changes. i think due to their experience factors that Trestman won't be missed. The offense had been mediocre and a change was needed. That play where Wallace got hammered...Dennis should have got that . Wallace was led inside into a trio of defenders where Dennis could have caught the ball one on one and away towards the sideline. These players were not in the end zone and that was demoralizing.

Couldn't imagine how it would work if my girl was a Steelers fan. Lol

Does tension get high twice a year?

Extremely, she loves her sports....diehard Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. She has all the sportswear to go along. When we go out everyone looks at us like we are crazy, me in all Ravens, her in all Steelers.
