I applaud your astounding use of logic. Quite obviously a team with a scrub QB, no pass rush, scrub secondary and scrub special teams will be 3-2 and right near the top of the division.

Wait what?

Indeed. It means that you either won or lost the game.

The offense lacks the needed players to be good.

If Steve's out for any significant time the only WR worth starting is Wallace. Doesn't help that the O-line sucks.

Is Aiken a younger version of Steve? Maybe a mild mannered version?

Why exactly does it matter?

Did they institute the BCS in the NFL and I missed it?

Redskins?

Get where you're coming from tho.

Anyway, going to the Giants game and hope to see some improvements.  Last time we played them with a new OC, we had an OL game.  Still wish that Jacoby td held up.  Best celebration that never counted.

If Hester has another bad or two he may get cut. They are finally losing their patience with  players (and coaches) not producing ex. Forsett, shareece, trest

I for one, am sick of stopping our momentum with subbing in player packages, especially on no huddle offenses...i get it,  players tire, but if theres nothing wrong with them, and you HAVE TO get this guy some snaps, just to get him some snaps while we are rolling, just so his feelings dont get hurt or whatever, I got a problem with that.

I remember before the Harbaugh messup, 28 was rollin, and we had to get homeboy in for a snap, killed the drive.

I seriously doubt we're even considering cutting Hester, we have literally no one better to return kicks, Steve is too old to be pulling double duty, Webb has a lost a step with all those injuries, and no one else on the team really has any experience there. Hester hasn't been Hester but he hasn't been anywhere near as bad as some make him out to be, he had a great return vs. the Redskins only to have it called back on a penalty.

Agreed, there is little to no chance they cut Hester.

However, I wouldn't rule out having Webb back to fair-catch punts, since Hester seems to struggle with decision-making in this part of the game. Too often has Hester eschewed a fair catch, only to let the ball roll for 10-15 yards inside the 5.

I wouldnt be so sure. His decision making has been lackluster at best  and if we even consider bringing out Webb or Moore to return kicks then why waste a roster spot on just a specialist? Now I'm hoping he returns to form, and I'm not expecting him to light the world on fire, we just need consistency. It seems like he's almost scared to catch the ball and has been letting a lot of balls drop that should've been fair caught- costing us field position. With the recent string of events- harbaugh is losing patience with players and coaches not getting the job done. It depends on his contract and if the money is guaranteed or not ( which I'm not sure of) but if he muffs another ball or two or costs us a game due to a turnover or poor decision- wouldn't suprise me one bit to see us cut ties and open up another roster spot for a player whos more versatile that can play more than one position.
