I agree. Biscotti isn't going to stand for having the team (really the offense) booed off the filed at home on a regular basis. Harbaugh and Flacco will be sent packing if the offense can't improve.

Has happened multiple times before. He stood for it then and did nothing about it, because he's the owner. He doesn't do anything about those kinds of issues. Never has.

Its fun laughing at people who think being booed during a game is some sort of new revelation and is so outrageous that the owner is going to put his foot down like Jerry Jones and start making ultimatums.

This is the real world folks, and the Ravens are a real business. He's a great business owner, and he doesn't fall for these child-like overreactions.

He's also obviously smart enough to understand the financial and salary cap impact of sending your franchise QB who you  just signed to a large extension packing. That's why educated fans know this ain't happening anytime soon. Short of a Ray Rice level off field incident, he's locked on this roster through 2018. No point in discussing anything regarding his roster status. Nothing can be said or done to change that.

The last time I checked Harbaugh and Kubiak have the same amount of super bowl rings. It's just that Harbaugh record is better and he has more playoff success.

Actually, Kubes has four - one as Steve Young's Qb coach in SF,  and two as Broncos OC.

Oh wow I forgot about that. Well atleast head coach wise which is probably a different feeling and accomplishment

I wonder how long it will take for the "Fans" who screamed for The OC to be fired to turn on the next one ? Should be interesting. After all the issue could not have been the Oline or the Dropped passes huh ?

That's definitely a part of it. But so was Trestman, hence the firing.

I think MM will bring about some improvements.

Were there issues other than just Trestman? Sure. But playcalling has a huge affect on games. Other OCs have found ways around bad Olines. Other OCs don't constantly call for routes three yards shy of first down on third down. And other OCs don't abandon the run in a close game when your back has a high average per carry. A different play caller could have gotten us a W against the Raiders and Redskins.

So my wife was asking about Mornhinweg. I told her as much as I could based on info gathered here.
My wife replied with "... Oh, so he is going to be a head coach somewhere else next year hunh ? "
" Too early to tell babe, but I think this guy might make some cool things happen.... so I hope you are wrong. "

So we switched O.C's after a loss to the Skins.  Now we just need Steve Smith to step to the podium and say
"Today I told my team mates.... that this would be my last ride. "

It wouldn't carry as much weight as when the face of the franchise for 17 years....Ray Lewis said it!  But I get your point! :D :D

I can't think of anything that makes me more angry than watching the ravens throw a screen. They don't work for us, scrap them harbaugh, wasted down.

But a freaking tight end screen.. Honestly. What good could come of that in any situation outside of 3rd and goal from the 1? When has any coach expected a tight end to gain a full 10 yards to convert a 3rd down? They aren't built to make defenders miss in the open field, they're a coverage mismatch. Not a running back or return specialist. Those made me so mad yesterday.

No one even runs TE screens that often. Biggest problem for TE screens is that they have to be executed damn near perfectly because of how long the play takes to develop. In many cases you need your TE to be a blocker, peel, and turn into a receiver in a screen play.  TE's are not the type of guys you throw screens to in long yardage plays, Running backs are. It's ridiculous that he would attempt them in long yardage situations, what the hell are you even expecting? I'm not claiming to know more than Trestman, but goodness those 1YD pass patterns were annoying as hell in 10 yard situations.

i hope you realise there where more then 1 receiver running routes and i hope you also realise that they did not all ran the same route at the same depth.

also people dont realise that when its 3rd and long the defense will know that you are going to pass and  when you o-line cant give the QB any time at all , odds are you will have to settle for the short throw as that is what the defense is willing to give up.

those who think you should go deep on 3 and 20 must hate flacco , cause the o-line cant give him enough time for the receivers to get that deep, which will lead to him taking unnecessary hits and it also increases the chances of a TO.

I misinterpreted what I had intended to say. I said long yardage situations when I really meant mid yardage cases, for example 3rd and 10, 3rd and 9, or 3rd and 7. I didn't mean a 3rd and 20 situation. No one is expecting a deep pass there. We're talking about a 3rd and 9 situations that features 1YD pass patterns. In that case a TE screen is ridiculous.  Unless blocks are executed perfectly, a TE is not going to make guys miss or anything of that nature. It would make more sense to try to get the yards intended to get the extra downs.
