OL wasn't covering long enough, but everyone knows that if pressure and blitzes is a problem the best way to counter that is...running the ball. After that once defenses bring more guys in the box you hit them with a bootleg or a fake, now of course its not that easy, but everything we could have done to help our cause, we seem to run away from it. We just went closer to things that hurt us. Now short passes plays into man-coverage so at that point you're not taking what the defense gives you but instead you're playing into the defense, you're doing exactly what you want them to do and that's why you only got 10 points. Players are even pissed about today and West better be, he deserves to be pissed, Harbaugh said some stuff after the game that I wouldn't take lightly if I were him. He played his heart out and Harbaugh made it seem he was ineffective.

I know people are going to say, "When these are professional players!", well damn that, these are professional coaches. Players play and coaches coach. I don't think we did either today.

I don't mind dink dunk either, It doesn't make me upset but you need a couple of big plays per game. Problem is players fail to execute in the red-zone. Play calling in the red was awful too. Pass two straight times and run on a 3rd and 9? Why the hell does Trestman or who ever called the play there act like 3rd and 9 is 3rd or 29 or 3rd and 39, it's just 9 yards, 9 YARDs. Horrible play call on that series.

Part of my post got fragmented when I rewrote a couple of bits. I meant to say it's getting ridiculous that we're abandoning the run (when West is averaging 8.6ypa as well...) and hitting guys in the flat behind the first-down marker and hoping the tackler misses. So I pretty much agree with all of that - even if we insist on doing nothing but short passes (excluding that last drive, how many attempts of 20-plus yards did we have? I can remember two) there are still plenty of ways to get some good gains, especially with guys as quick as Wallace and Perriman.

Mark tresman should go back to the CFL. Why would you stop running Terrence west when he was extremely effective also. He Sucks at using the weapons we have.

2014 when we went 10-6 are offensive coordinator was gary kubiek. 2013 we go 5-10 under Mark Tresman this year his offense can't put up enough points to win against the raiders which had one of the league's worst defenses the next week we can't do anything against another of the league's worst pass defenses.

I don't think Marc tresmans has what is to be an NFL coordinator. He stinks and should be FIRED!!!!!!

Who holds the coaches accountable for making these dumb decisions?

Chain of command, I guess. Harbs should get rid of Trestman and answer to Ozzie/Steve.

Just googling articles from when we fired Cam. NFL.com had an article published talking about it at 11:38a.m. So if anything, around noon is when something would be announced tomorrow.

Irony of it, we fired Cam December 10th, 2012. Trestman may be fired 4 years and 2 months to the day Cam was fired(Tomorrow is October 10th)

What was our record at that point in time?

I got ya, I was just adding my thoughts to your post since I thought they came to the same understanding and I totally agree, it's man-coverage so of course you need to take your shots. I think Flacco has more of a reason to be mad today than last game. There's some things out of Trestman controls which includes dropped passes and not keeping your feet in bounds. Some of Joe's passes weren't sharp either. Norman is not even a man-cover CB so you have to do better than that.

With the emphasis put on giving Flacco targets and support this offseason, there is no way that is even remotely close to being good enough. It's quite a horrifying Stat, in point of fact.

We need to higher the patriots offensive coordinator and just pay the big bucks for someone. Also stop paying for cheap offensive coordinators, you get what you pay for.

Okay, so it shows that we aren't scared to fire people even with a winning record. Was thinking we were at .500.

Oddly enough back then we were on a two game losing streak before firing Cam. Here we go with Trestman, 2 game losing streak. We all be on NFL.com tomorrow morning like.......

Yeah play calling was bad, but with this dink and dunk offense the offense can't commit penalties or drop balls and that's all that's been happening since week 1. The oline is holding on just about every play. This reminds me of 2013 when reports came out that Caldwell and Casitllo were both teaching different things to their o linemen.

We lost next game after firing Cam in 2012. Should be mentioned in case of false hope.

You're taking the expression "it's five o'clock somewhere" a little too literally my friend.

but yeah. Something tells me if harbaugh doesn't do this he'll lose the locker room

Our offense last season was good and we were all complaining about Pees.

This year we got all the injured offensive players back and somehow we look even worse than last season.

It just does not make sense.
