Am I reading this right?  All the failed blocks, drops, and other non-QB botched executions go away if we simply restructure Joe's contract?  ROFL

That would infer that's flacco has been perfect.

Another Flacco apologist.

That does NOT infer that at all.  It infers there is more than one problem.

Yeah that was unexpected, this is the 2nd year he's been better than Flacco. But I'd still take Flacco in the playoffs.

I do think it's time to start looking at a new QB post Flacco

While I know we have a terrible oline it just seems that Joe's skills have diminished greatly  over the last few years

and I really don't have much confidence in him .

I do feel Ravens management will start actively looking for next year if Joe continues to play like this .

A restructuring of his contract will also be necessary .

joe is 10 years down the road. theres lots to be done. joe still has value and the time to deal him for multiple high draft pics is now. lots of pics we fill our holes and a team ready to win gets joe

You cats always say this year in and out without a guarantee that the Ravens will even make the playoffs.  Hilarious! :D

Do you really want to start rolling that dice? if he goes to a team with protection and a ground game it's going to come back to haunt us.

You jumped the gun there, my post implies we have to get there first and it also goes without saying that we're probably not getting there this year. Man you really have to spell out everything for some people.

Still don't understand why people keep talking about getting rid of Joe and completely ignoring the factual problem of the practical impossibility of cutting or trading him due to the cap restrictions.

Like do you people really not understand that the salary cap literally dictates roster construction for 32 NFL teams?

Lets try to at least be like 10% reasonable. I gave up on you people being at least like 50% reasonable, so all I'm asking for is 10%. If that's too much to ask, let me know now so I can block you.

Thanks

Joke Flacco has lost it. He's killing the team with his lackadaisical effort and he's not a leader. I can't even watch the games anymore. The team is sloppy and makes lots of mistakes, penalties, etc. This indicates bad coaching which points to Harbaugh . We have older players who are constantly injured. Time to blow this team up. We're going nowhere with this mgt and players. Kubiak was a excellent OC and the team played to a higher level with him here. Without him Harbaugh is exposed as a bad decision maker and appears to be pressing. Look, we just don't have the talent anymore. If we had the talent maybe Flacco and Harbaugh wouldn't seem so bad, but we don't, so they are really exposed. We might win 1 more game this year. What is troubling is that it appears the players have quit on Harbaugh, you can see it on the field. They just melt in crunch time.

THIS.

You fix that o-line, you fix Flacco.

Granted I think he is getting a case of Boller-itus.  He is getting shell shocked from getting hit too much or running for his life on every single snap.  I am sure it gets old fast.  Hopefully this line can get its crap together before it is too late for Joe.

I'd officially challenge IQ overall at this point.

Its like you read my mind. My eyes always popped out my head when I saw Dalton on a list lol

Wow I've never seen so many new forum members all of sudden... Are all of these low posts counts trolls? Maybe it's the same negative person under different names.  I mean out of nowhere there's a lot of newly created profiles that only talk doom & gloom.

Want to cut and fire everyone like it's a video game lol

Right now I feel the same way, But I feel this team can play better. I would be happy with a functioning offense, that looks like a "Professional NFL" team.

A team that can string some first downs together and move the ball down the field.

I would accept losing and getting beat by a better team, but giving games away is just too painful.

No gun to jump and definitely nothing to spell out to me.

People in here constantly say that Joe is "lights out" in the playoffs.  Really?  How long ago were those performances and who was on the roster back then?  The Ravens were a different team then and definitely now.  We need to be happy if they just sniff a win! :D

I really think four or five of the new posters are the same people with multiple accounts.

I really think that.

You bring up economics but you want to cut Joe?

YES!!! Flacco isn't worth that money. Give him two options. Take a pay cut or you go on the trading block.

Got it. Flacco looks bad. I couldn't agree more that he looks bad, FWIW. Some people will say the OL is bad, and it is, but you know I say Flacco also needs to step up into the pocket (although Zuttah does get pushed back a lot, but there's still room to step up a lot of times), throw the ball better especially downfield, etc. That said, you do realize that trading or cutting Flacco next year accelerates his cap hit so he counts $47,300,000 against our cap. Yes, that's nearly half a team's cap. The next year? He'll count over $20,000,000. So everyone and anyone who wants Joe Flacco gone should just suck it up because we are married to this guy until at least 2019 or more realistically 2020.

Isn't Luck's offensive line a mess as well? He seems to be doing okay.

Yep. That's also because Luck runs around and makes plays after the OL breaks down as he escapes the pocket. A bit absurd that Flacco doesn't run around, but I guess it's the whole knee thing.

He would always do that in the past :( dude just seems so shell shocked. Usually QB's go and refine their mechanics after an injury like this but he looks so bad this season

I've got no issues with Flacco yet. Dude is playing with a brace, coming out of tough injury and is trying. Doesn't look good at the moment but short of Wallace, he isn't getting any help either. He'll get right.

I have issues but I'll wait and see if he corrects them. Maybe it's the knee, maybe it's trust in the OL, WR, I don't know. He better improve his play because he isn't even connecting with Pitta consistently, as we saw today.
