Is Harbaugh on the Hot Seat Yet

How is this a non issue. This was supposed to be the easy part of the schedule. When you have a team that cannot score points you NEVER take points off of the board and he has cost us 2 games this year doing just that. Yeah, he deserves the hot seat and a tight tight leash or he walks; If he does not stop with those foolish calls and we are out of the play offs i would drop him and bring in next years new coach early..

Like I said elsewhere, if Juice blocked his man, West would have walked in.  How is that Johns fault ?
People here get their panties in a bunch when Pees goes conservative, but want the opposite from our offense?
Crazy talk.

Juice sucked that play; he can't even block one dude when his job is blocking ever since he joins the team. West should have walked to the endzone.....

Fans have been screaming for more TDs and less FGs for years.  When they try and fail, they get roasted for trying.  It's what we do. ;)

When they try and succeed, we still complain.

It was the right call to make. I hope Harbaugh never changes his aggressiveness.

Just remember, John Harbaugh is not apologizing for the fake field goal decision.......it is painful to keep losing by the hc simply not taking points when they are available to be had

It was a close, low-scoring game, and our offense was struggling mightily (all season, really). You had 3 shots to punch it in from what? Inside the 5? You take the sure-3 on 4th down. I could get on board with the go-for-it mentality if the game was in the 30's or 40's, and both offenses were lighting it up, but under the circumstances it seemed like Harbaugh was playing with fire.

these boards are a trip.

It's because the simple minded trolls take offense to logic and reason. Just shows how petty they are. More worried about thinking they are right than wanting to learn something from others.

Why was Harbaugh given a pass on gambling away more points on 4th and goal again?

Talk about a spineless media!

This guy keeps making bonehead decisions, and not 1 media member is going to call him out on it?

Pathetic

well the fans know many here said not to give away points with a makeshifted oline on the road with team struggling for points.

if he takes the points from here in we may yet make the playoffs

thought it was troubling he didn't know you cant take unsportsmanship to lengthen the extra point. Hes not that kind of coach but he needs to get better fur sur. No mistakes vs the jets please.

I was thinking the same thing. They did seem scared of harbs. He was clearly irritated, maybe they will ask tougher questions as the week goes on and let him live today.

"If we did fire Harbaugh who would you guys bring in?"

ANSWER:

anyone that wasn't a whining arrogant baby and would put the blame on himself where it belongs instead of trying

to pass it off on others....

How can anyone defend him when he clearly is the main and only reason we lost the 3 games we did regardless

of how bad any player played.... It is all on him... And don't give me it's a team effort stuff, etc....

he hasn't done anything at all for this team...period except take a paycheck he doesn't earn....

I guess you can tell I never liked him or his sniveling cry baby brother... Let him go destroy a college team somewhere

because he certainly will never rank as a respected coach in the NFL...maybe he could put a dress on and sing the Sunday night football theme song next year...

What team would take him as their head coach if he was fired? ...none probably wouldn't even take him as a special teams coach

even......

2 games in a row you take the points you win or tie and have a chance to win and over the last 3-4 years this has resulted in losses 6,7,8 times at least Tucker is the best K in the league and we pay him well kick the ball take the 3 and we still have a shot. At this point lets go 3-13 and get another high pick we are not going anywhere we are undisciplined and frequently get out coached so lets get this over ith I'm disgusted at how we let games go. We need pass rushers CBs and O-line help badly.

Maybe because they weren't "bonehead decisions" and anyone in their right minds could understand the logic behind them?

Now that you mention it, I'm sure they will find something to cry about

Well, it was not something a lot of coaches would do. It was far gutsier than the goal line play which to me was a virtual no brainer.

If we're second guessing we may as well acknowledge when it works.

Oh, I understood where you were going with that. That's why I said "they'll find something to cry about" because they will never ever acknowledge it when it goes as planned.

A little harsh. I think he would get scooped up pretty quickly honestly.

Im not a big fan of his simply because I personally miss the old days of having feared defenses acrossed the league w/ground and pound backs.

Seems to me like something has changed in our FO with drafting, playing, coaching..I donno somewhere. Sadly have seen the decline ever since he walked in the door. This is a Harbaugh product.

That's why I asked and even if people do give an answer it's usually an unproven Coordinator or one that has already failed to be a good HC.

Tony Dungy

Jon Gruden

Not that I'm one to call for Harbaugh's head but I do like these two cats.  Bill Cowher?  Hated him as the Steelers coach but loved his intensity!

I don't think any of these guys are coming back to coach.

Harbaugh is fine. He gets us to play hard and we are always in these games. It isn't his fault our team is devoid of talent, that is on Ozzie honestly. At the end of that game I knew we were going to lose because we have no playmakers to come up big when it counts. Can someone tell me when the last time our 120 million dollar QB actually won us a game? I'm not talking Tucker... I feel like Flacco hasn't won us a game since about 2013 when Marlon Brown pulled down that catch in the snow against the Vikings. Someone tell me I'm wrong?

Well the 2014 playoff game against the Steelers comes to mind.

Frankly, he's been one of the better players on our offense this season, though that's not saying much. Between the offensive line health and production issues and the unbelievable amount of dropped passes by receivers, he's one of the few people on the offense I don't worry much about.
