Why is everyone so worked up about the giants pass rush? Aren't they last in sacks? A giants reporter was on 105.7 today talking about it and it sounds like if we ever had a chance to move the ball it would be now. Vernon is hurt and jpp hasn't done much and apparently their interior hasn't lived up to the hype either, Apple is supposed to miss and drc is apparently gonna be far from 100% and they have 2 safeties on the active roster and one is a udfa.

Yeah everybody's acting like their some sort of juggarnaut when in reality they are worse off than us right now - arguably on both sides of the ball but factually record wise. If we pressure eli they are done for. Their defense doesn't scare me and now that trestmans gone I'm confident we can put up enough points to win. Stanley and yanda playing will go a long way- but as long as we don't beat ourselves like last week I don't see them actually beating us.

I still have my concerns about Sheppard and Beckham taking the game over, that's an extremely real possibility and I'm not sure I like us in a shootout... But if we can force a 3 and out at least once per quarter and keep a respectable 3rd down stop rate and get a good 5ypc for 100+ rush yards then we will be good. I think 3rd down is the key to winning this game on both sides.

I'm actually pretty confident in tavon locking up Sheppard...he will get his catches but as long as we keep it to a minimum. I also think shareece matches up good with Cruz....jimmy concerns me a bit and I just really hope he doesn't drop one of them stinkers. As long as we hold them in the redzone and limit the deep ball we'll be OK.

It's not that the Giants are that good it's more like we are that bad!

So go root for the Bengals or Browns. Atleast drop some reasonable expectations or just go on somewhere.

Man am I glad to get this game in NY so I don't have to watch another glitchy online stream. No more "It looks like about second and seven from the - and - - running t - -groei - - dndutrj - - z -  third and long."

Honestly not too upset about the injuries:

Hester sucks.

Steve being out gives Perriman much needed snaps.

Dumervil being out gives Judon another chance to outshine Z'darius Smith.

I'm just glad that this horrendous and embarrassing loss to the Redskins came before our bye week.  I couldn't take it if that loss came the week before the bye and had to sit on us for 2 weeks.  I still got a bad taste from it and today is Thursday.  Smh!

At least they get to play on Sunday and hopefully right the ship against the Giants.

Moore needs to get some snaps too. I know he has the dropsies, but he needs to get his confidence back up.

Agreed. It really annoys me that we haven't given them more time. Just look at Sammie Coates, that guy SUCKED when he came in the league but after being forced in he just had like 150 yards last week. It's really important to let players go through their growing pains DURING games.

Sammie has two things in his favor: 1) he's playing next to AB and 2) the Steelers are a WR factory.............which I ENVY.

THOSE injuries I agree. ( although I am not in the Hester sucks camp.  I am very disappointed right now, but I am still willing to give it a little more time )

O-line on the other hand.  Those worry me a lot.

Great! Seems like the majority of 'predictions' have us in the underdog role, again. Now that's when we play best. I think many will be eating crow this coming Sunday. Good morning...

GO Ravens!!!

If only that were true, we would have won last week because I had sensed that we could lose against Washington.

Anybody else feel we may lose this game against the Skins? Somehow after last week I'm not feeling bullish about our chances.

Hey man, I am still not over the past 2 losses. This is exactly my 5th post since 2 weeks ago and I am a prolific poster. I am grieving like a lost minion.

I hear you.  Yeah those 2 home losses were brutal.  I witnessed the loss against the Raiders live as I was at that game and due to Hurricane Matthew's effects in my area here in VA, I actually missed out on viewing the Redskins game due to flash flooding and a power outage.  Although I record all the games, guess I'm glad not to have that one to see. B)

I don't understand how some people can act as if we have no shot against the Giants. They have pieces but the haven't been playing to their potential anymore than we have. Jimmy on OBJ (hopefully he's following him, I hate allowing opposing offenses to line up their best against Shareece and we just let them do it) is a matchup that I like, I don't hate Shareece on Shepard either. They have no run game just like the Redskins so I'm not too worried about that.

You don't?  Really?  Then you must not have been following the Ravens and their offense in particular too much this season?  The Giants may not have played to their potential and dropped 3 games straight but now they are at home as the Ravens (who dropped 2 homes games) comes to town with a new O.C.  C'mon now! :D

They're on a 3-game losing streak; we're on a 2-game losing streak. Some crappy team has to win this game, so why not us? lol

Like @JoeyFlex5 said, the only thing that really scares me is their WR corps, but if we can get enough pressure, Eli will get rattled pretty easily, same as he did vs GB, who has an even worse secondary. If we can control the clock with a healthy TOP, I like our chances.

Coates situation is different from Moores since he's not a rookie but even during his rookie season The Steelers didn't use him much. The Steelers also need that deep threat  receiver with size on the outside since Martavis Bryant  is suspended for the year.

I didn't say "I don't get how people can have us losing! We're going to destroy them!" I said I don't see how people can say we have no chance. It's reasonable to say we clearly have a chance against another team that is also underperforming. Acting as if this is an L no matter what is ridiculous. I have seen how our offense has been this season, and the main culprit - the one calling the idiotic plays - is now out of town, at very least Mornhinweg, whether he's good or not, is better than Trestman if he can just grasp the simple idea that you do what's working, rather than abandoning what's working. Have you not been following our defense? If our offense can do literally anything then we have a chance because our defense is clearly good enough to hold a Giants offense that hasn't played well this year at all and has no run game whatsoever and relies entirely on Eli and OBJ having a good day. The Redskins had more offensive weapons than they do.

Either  its right under my nose and I'm just missing it or you accidentally sent me the wrong link. There's no Lp anywhere on that page- just a (T) for tackle and where it says ( foot) ...either way I know he was a limited participant now. Thanks anyway.

Yeah that was a blessing in disguise. Be glad you didn't get to witness that game. I almost broke my flat screen from throwing my remote through the dang thing. Single most frustrating performance ive seen In a long time. And we've dropped some real stinkers so that's saying something. It was just so blatantly obvious we had the better team yet we kept beating ourselves over and over with mistake after mistake. Players and coaches both. And then to have to go through the roller coaster of emotions where they signal TD from the rookie perriman with 30 seconds left thinking we had just somehow snuck out of there with a W after allllll that( against big mouthed NORMAN mind you)  only for it to be taken away from you and overturned and see that it was literally centimeters away and he had every chance to drag a toe or get a heal down. It was just cruel dude. The football gods were toying with us on that. I'm still not over it. I feel horrible for perriman tho. That would have done wonders for his confidence and I was sooo looking forward to seeing that goofy lookin smile in the presser after the game talking about how his first TD catch was a game winner. Whyyyyyyy man whyyy!!!?? Lol rant over..

I know many here are upset about the Skins loss, as am I to a point. I'm still reeling by the Oakland loss more. We are not a great team right now and certainly not the best in the league. We are going to have our losses, no doubt. If we have to take losses, I would much rather they be against the NFC teams.

This game is very winnable. They have the same problems that we have, difference being the majority of their injuries are on defense and ours is on the offense, specifically the OL. Still, if we can't win the next two and have to settle for 1 of 2, I would much rather it be against the Giants than the Jets.

Just heard  the left side of the OL could be intact. Good to know Stanley is back. However I will reserve the same enthusiasm for Lewis. I think he was side by side with Zuttah as the main culprit for our run game deficiencies. Yanda to RT is an upgrade as Wagner may of been dinged up all along.

Ducasse was an interesting and very smart signing. Ducasse was always a multi talented guard. But never quite put it all together as a result of technique and scheme.  Castillo can change all that. I think he is best suited for RG of all our interior OL. Urschel played very well for his first game back. He should be considered for the center position.  Then Jensen and Lewis should compete for the LG position. I'm sure management is rooting for Lewis.

Lewis is a rookie while Wagner and Jensen are free agents. Management has him in the plans for LG or RT next year. But I haven't seen much from him to be honest. Anybody know how he performed last week? I recorded it but deleted it by accident.  So I would appreciate any info on his performance. This could be the game the OL comes together and the electric fast WR's hang onto the ball for big plays. Correct OL formation and big plays will mean a ravens win.

Are you seeing all 7 columns?  Under Wed it says DNP.  Under Thur is says LP.

By the way, that is the "permanent" link for the season.  It updates with each report and you can select the week.
