I'm not really concerned about the offensive line as much as some Ravens fans are. Ronnie Stanley just returned to practice and may play sunday.  So The Ravens may have Stanley, Urschel, Zuttah,Jensen and  Lewis or Hurst .

yea i said the same thing. I think its a bigger deal that Stanley plays than even Yanda at this point. The domino effect of shifting and how we lose effectiveness at pretty much every position across the line with Stanley out, as compared to maybe being weaker at just 1 position (even though its the single biggest drop off) with Yanda out.

Stanley-Urschel-Zuttah-Jensen-Lewis or wagner i feel confident enough in. Actually kind of excited to see what Lewis can do at RT since i think he;s our future there.

And if Yanda can get back in there its just gravy.

im actually not upset that doom is out. He's been non existant since coming back and looks like a shadow. Judon should have been playing this whole time.

the best line i can think of it

Stanley, Jensen,Zuttah, Urschel, Lewis

Can alternate jensen and urschel.

The injury that frustrates me the most is CJ's on D. It was like a triple bogey..

the fat lady has got out of bed and is clearing her throat..this game will end the ravens season. 3 losses before week 7 = no playoffs. Not with the schedule coming up.

the giants D line will demolish this sorry O line. I mean demolish it. it will be the WORST offensive Performence of the season. IF the ravens win this game I WILL glady leave this board for a FULL month. Thats how assured i am that this season, as far as the playoffs are concerned, will be over with by the bye.

Now that his hilarious!  Had me rolling! :D

Ravens PR Devin Hester walked through the locker room with a pronounced limp. Hester missed practice Thursday. Ravens might have to go with a different option at returner like Lardarius Webb or Kenneth Dixon.

Looks like Hester might be out.  If that's the case, my guess is Webb is back there for punts with a lot of fair catches and Dixon or Moore on kickoffs.  I don't recall anyone other than Campanaro and Reynolds fielding punts in the preseason, so my guess is Webb would be our only real option for punt returner.

Nope, they don't play man coverage. I expect the Jints to do what every other team did and that's throw at Wright early and often.

You can still find a way to get favorable match ups in the zone. The only problem is when teams motion receivers. I still expect to see Jimmy on Odell for most of the game, besides Wright coming back from back spasms after missing a game on Odell spells trouble.

This game is rather easy to predict. The Giants have a 3-headed monster in OBJ, Shepard and Cruz. We don't even have a one-headed monster. If Morningweg has any chance to turn this offense around it wont be with his first game as OC. The Ravens have too many injuries to be relevant in this game and the Giants are looking for a bounce back game. Hostile environment. Giants win 31-21.

Sadly I think this is a bad matchup for jimmy, and I'm possibly jimmys biggest fan. I think Odell is just too athletic, jimmy can be up and down and does excellent against many types of receivers but has trouble staying downfield with the explosive freak athletes like odb.

I have to agree. Jimmy just isn't quick enough to keep up with Odell consistently.

Is it crazy to think Tavon Young might be the best one to cover Odell?

Just heard Yanda is out and that CJ, Wagner and Steve aren't practicing. It will take a major miracle for us to win this game.

if Hurst starts we lose.

Was Stanley's participation in practice limited, I assume? Just wondering if he actually practiced /w everyone else or just did his own thing on the side.

I think Yanda will play and we should be back at full strength for our line.

SSS is tough and wanted to come back last sunday. He'll be ready with 3 more days to heal.

yup.we win..im out for a full month with a signature '' Im wrong'' ...we lose and every post by me on this board gets a  thumbs up  by every single person here until after the bye week.

You literally just took a bet AGAINST the Ravens winning. Would a real fan do that? I notice you joined the site for our 2013 season, meaning you werent here for our superbowl season. Perhaps you've been the bad luck this whole time.

I'd rather someone who isn't a starter be back there returning kicks. I like the idea of Dixon actually to help get his feet wet.

It'd take a miracle for a 3-2 team to beat a 2-3 team? Stop the nonsense.

Ok expect us to lose this game so you won't be disappointed like you were the past 2 weeks. I don't see how a coordinator change is going to invigorate this putrid offense. Trestman didn't line up to play offense. The disappointment doesn't rest with the coaches as much as we might want it to. The players are playing and performing below their perceived talent levels. That is what needs correction. Is it possible that we can win? Anything is possible, but is it likely for us to win on the road against a decent team when we lost at home against average teams? I say not so fast.

Again I simply hate Tom Brady. I want him to be bad. I want Flacco to be better than him. I know now I am totally delusional. That guy is one of the best QBs and Flacco isn't a top 5 QB no matter how much I want him to be. Very sad to say.

It's hard for the offense to execute when one refuses to use the run game allowing teams to constantly play the pass thus making you predictible. Sure there are drops in there but if we run the ball more it opens up a whole lot.

I expect an L because we will need to adjust to a new scheme. But expect us to beat the Jets

I think it's more about managing the game. Trestman lost touch of the game too often. Hopefully Morninwheg will be able to be a better manager and call the games better.

Who reported that Stanley practiced today? I haven't seen that anywhere....I think if Stanley goes, yanda is a rock so he will go as well and our line will be fine. In that case we can run the ball with west down their throats. Still got our deep threats so if the running game is humming we may be able to burn them on a few deep routes. Still got our tight ends too. Sss is just a pain tolerance thing so he might go- but as much as id like him to be out there ii think were OK without him for a game . Joe tends to go through his reads better and doesn't have to force him the ball. Dumervil not going doesn't bother me- hasn't produced anyway and this might mean the young guy judon gets a shot and can get his motor going. The thing that worries me the most is CJ- he's been dominating this year and does the communicating for the front of the D. Its def a concern- but I also have faith in Orr to step up. He has also been great for us this year. And we still have jernigan , Bwill and co. On the line to stuff the run and make them one dimensional. If we can get creative and keep Eli on his heals this is definitely a winnable game and I'm not as worried as most people. We need some guys to step up and make some plays. But yeah if Stanley and yanda go and we can get our running game going like we have been the past 2 weeks we will get the job done. Look out for our tight ends to have a good game. If Hester can't go I'm actually looking forward to seeing Moore back there. I think Moore or Dixon will do kickoffs and Webb will do punts. Gonna be an interesting game to watch and see who steps up. Let's see if we can bounce back on the road. We need a big game from Jimmy.I fully trust our d line to stuff the run so if  we shut down you know who this is a very winnable game- we need to put up 20 or more and should be fine.

Anyway.

Hester and Elvis not playing might be an advantage. Hester played terribly last game and Elvis has been a no factor and is a road block to Judon's progression.

its the giants.  they have issues as much as we do.

we can win this one and we must.  things are going to get alot more tougher down the road.  this is one of the games you must put a 'w' on.

After watching Mornhinweg's first presser I sort of excited about our prospects moving forward. He seems like the kind of guy that players love to play for, upbeat and cracking jokes. Curious what sort of changes we're going to see Sunday, hopefully more focus on the run game against a Giants team that struggled with Lacey and McKinnon the past two weeks. I don't think this weeks gameplan should be that much different than last weeks - or what last week's should have been anyway. Run it and then open things up with some play action.

Hopefully he sorts out our offense but I must say, I'm not looking forward to watch more of his pressers.

I don't understand how some people can act as if we have no shot against the Giants. They have pieces but the haven't been playing to their potential anymore than we have. Jimmy on OBJ (hopefully he's following him, I hate allowing opposing offenses to line up their best against Shareece and we just let them do it) is a matchup that I like, I don't hate Shareece on Shepard either. They have no run game just like the Redskins so I'm not too worried about that.

I didn't think it was that bad, first presser as OC the questions were pretty garbage honestly. Not much to ask about without seeing his offense in action

Great! Seems like the majority of 'predictions' have us in the underdog role, again. Now that's when we play best. I think many will be eating crow this coming Sunday. Good morning...

GO Ravens!!!
